"You're a gay?" Enzo asks, disgust slightly evident in his tone. "Since when?"

"I didn't know you were so dense," Aalayah laughs nervously, "When was the last time you knew a heterosexual girl flirt with another? Also, I'm pansexual, which means I like boys too."

"I thought you were only joking," Enzo folds his arms, a habit that he got from his father. "How can you like both?"

"Pretty easily," Aalayah smiles, remembering her childhood. "I would marry G-Dragon in 0.1 seconds but I would totally date CL."

"I don't know who they are," he frowns, "Are you sure you're gay?"

"If it makes it any better I used to have fantasies over Emma Watson since I was six," Aalayah snickers at her friends face. "I didn't put you down to be the homophobic type."

"I'm not homophobic," Enzo had hated that word for a long time. "I just find it a little disturbing."

"That is a homophobic thing to say," Aalayah lightly punches his shoulder. "Don't worry, I'm not going to make out with a girl in front of you if that's what you're scared of."

"You can make out with as many girls as you want," Enzo replies, before realising what he said. "Wait!"

"I didn't know you were into that," Aalayah smirks at his flabbergasted expression. "I can give you some good websites to watch."

"What I'm trying to say is," Enzo furrows his eyebrows. "I think being gay is weird, and kind of attention seeking. Can't you just be normal like everyone else? Why be gay when-"

"Saad!" Aalayah high fives the boy. "We were just talking about you!"

"You were?" Enzo's breath hitches when Saad turns to him. "Nothing bad, I hope."

"Hmph." Enzo looks away, his arms still tightly folded. "I don't know, I wasn't really listening."

"Charming," Aalayah rolls her eyes. "I forgot to message you before, do you want to come to my birthday party?"

"I'd love to," Enzo watches Saad's eyes shine. "When is it?"

"On the 25th March," Aalayah smiles, glancing at Enzo. "Free pizza too."

"Oh," Saad's shine is replaced by gloss. "I can't."

"Do you not like me?" Aalayah holds her hand to her chest dramatically. "I didn't know you were such a snake!"

"It's not that," Saad smiles sadly. "I'm leaving for Pakistan on the 24th.."
