Ceres P.O.V

Once we entered the temple, Kaeya turned to look at me

"Let me show you how the Knights of Favonius conquer our adversaries!" Kaeya said

"Okay. I am curious to know how they handle it" I said as we resumed our venture inside the temple. Then I noticed his gaze looking up at the tower

"Hmm. If I'm not mistaken, the end of the temple should be up there" Kaeya said

"What makes you say that?" I asked

"Heh, experience" Kaeya said, and I looked at him with a suspicious look. Then I looked down and saw some hilichurls

"Perfect. They're walking around some water" Kaeya said with a smirk

"How is that good?" I asked

"You'll see" Kaeya said as he jumps down and the hilichurls were now alerted of his presence as they started charging towards him

"Kaeya!" I shouted

"Freeze!" Kaeya shouted as he used his Vision and the hilichurls were frozen solid and I was speechless

'He has a Cryo Vision...' I thought

"They won't stay frozen for long. We better defeat them while they're like this" Kaeya said and I jumped down to help. When I landed on the floor, I immediately pulled out my sword and charged towards the frozen hilichurls

After we defeated the hilichurls, the doors opened and we continued our journey inside. As walked inside, Kaeya stuck his arm out in front of me and stopped me from walking forward. Before I could I ask, a flamethrower burst out

'I would've been burnt alive if Kaeya didn't stop me' I thought as I shivered on the thought of being burned alive

"Thank you. I would've been burned alive if you haven't stopped me" I said

"You're welcome. The repayment I request is for you joining me for dinner" Kaeya said

"Sigh... Fine" I said and Kaeya looked happy

Kaeya walked towards the flamethrower and used his Vision to freeze it. He grabbed my hand and we quickly ran before the fire melts the ice. When we got passed, the flamethrower reactivated itself. Kaeya used his Cryo Vision again on the second flamethrower and went passed it, I let out a breath that I didn't realize that I was holding

"Didn't realize you were scared" Kaeya said

"I wasn't..." I said as I looked away with an embarrassed look and that made Kaeya chuckle

"Seems the path ends here. Let's use the wind current to fly up" Kaeya said as he pointed at the wind current that's going up. We walked towards the wind current, we both jumped up, our wind gliders came out and we started floating up. Once we got to the top, we saw another door. When we landed, I opened the door, I saw a big Pyro slime and behind the Pyro slime was a Hydro stone. As we approach the slime, it jumped towards us, I ran passed it and destroyed the Hydro stone as it. Water was now falling down from the air like rain, thanks to that, the Pyro slime fire dimmed down. Kaeya used his Cryo vision to freeze it, but what we didn't expect was more small Pyro slimes popping up. Thankfully the water was still raining down. I used my Anemo power on the small slimes while Kaeya deals with the big Pyro slime. After the fight, we resumed our journey. I was looking around for any traps or monsters, and I noticed some spikes that's under water. Kaeya looked in the direction where I was looking and used his Cryo vision again to freeze the water's surface. Then we carefully walked to the other side, Kaeya freezed the water's surface again and safely got to the other side. Up ahead, we saw the source of Davlin's power

"Have you seen this before Ceres?" Kaeya asked

"I have when I was a child" I said

"Care to do the honors?" Kaeya asked

I walked towards the stone, I lifted up my hand and used my Anemo power to destroyed it. Then I heard Kaeya clapping

"Bravo! What a performance!" Kaeya said

"It's nothing special. I'm sure Aether and the others would do the same thing, but thanks" I said

"Haha, your modesty is one of the virtues of a knight. Your stories of kindness and modesty show true" Kaeya said

"My stories? I think I remember Amber saying something about their being stories about me" I said

"There is. You can see for your self at the headquarter's library" Kaeya said

"Yeah, but first... can we deal with the eavesdropper first?" I said as I pointed at the pillar, and coming out a small creature I never seen before

'What is that?' I asked myself

"Gohus, Chiso Vonph" The small creature casted a spell and a bubble was heading towards me, I quickly moved out of the way before the bubble could touch me, then flames went towards the creature and a man with red hair and eyes

The man grabbed the small creature by its face and tossed it to the ground. Then he pulled out his claymore sword to strike him down, and once he brought it down, the small creature managed to defend itself with its staff but it ended up hitting against the pillar and was defeated

"Knights of Favonius... Always so inefficient. And now you even got the priestess involved" The man with red hair and eyes said looking displeased as Kaeya was clapping

"Agree to disagree. But your involvement in this just made things a whole lot more interesting" Kaeya said

"Excuse me, may I know who you are?" I asked

"Me? My name is Diluc and I run a tavern in the city and own a wine vineyard" The man who introduced himself as Diluc said

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Diluc" I said as I bowed

"Don't bow. I should be bowing to you, your grace" Diluc said as he bows

"P-Please don't bow! It makes me feel embarrassed!" I said as I felt my face turning bright red

"Ah ha ha! Look, you made the priestess very embarrassed!" Kaeya laughed

"Please don't laugh!" I shouted as I cover my face and Diluc let out a breath

"Leave her be. I suggest we leave this place. There might be more Abyss Mages" Diluc said

"Abyss Mages?" I looked confused

"I'll tell you more about it once we're out" Diluc said as we started leaving the temple, once we got outside, the sky cleared out revealing the blue sky once again

"Looks like your friend and Amber have finished their mission at the other two temples" Kaeya said "Shall we go out to drink?"

"I did promise..." I said as I recalled the promise

"Then it settled. Let's go! To the tavern!" Kaeya said as he started to drag me back to the city and Diluc sighed

No One P.O.V

When Kaeya, Ceres and Diluc returned to the city, Kaeya was making his way to the tavern while still dragging Ceres

"K-Kaeya! Slow down!" Ceres said

"At least let her walk" Diluc said

Once they got inside the tavern, Ceres finally took the chance to sit down and she looked exhausted from being dragged

"What would you like to drink?" Diluc asked

Ceres looked up and saw Diluc was standing behind the bar without his coat and his hair in a high ponytail

"Do you have any drinks that doesn't have any alcohol?" Ceres asked, then he started to make a drink using fruit and juice. After a minute, Diluc presented Ceres a cup of Apple Cider

"Ooo! What's this?" Ceres asked

"This is Apple Cider. Give it a taste" Diluc said as he handed her a straw

Ceres picked up the cup and took a sip through the straw, and her eyes went wide

"Oh wow! This tastes delicious!" Ceres said

"I'm glad you like the drink. The tavern offers both drinks with or without alcohol" Diluc said

"Can I have a-" Before Kaeya could order his drink, Diluc already placed his drink in front of him "How did you know this is what I want?" Kaeya asked with a teasing grin

"Because you asked for the same drink everytime. So it's nothing new with you" Diluc said as he started cleaning a cup

"So, Ceres, why can't you drink alcohol?" Kaeya asked

"Well, a priestess aren't allowed to consume any beverage that contains alcohol. I've been told it'll bring addiction once consumed" Ceres said and Kaeya nearly choked on his drink after Ceres finished explaining, and Diluc silently chuckled "Are you alright, Kaeya?"

"I-I'm fine... Give me a moment" Kaeya said

Then after a minute, Kaeya finally calmed down from his coughing after almost choking on his drink

"Okay, I think I'm good now" Kaeya said

"That's good to hear" Ceres said as she placed her now empty cup on the bar's counter "I think I'm gonna leave now. I promised Aether that I'll meet him in the markets after we both completed the mission"

"Alright. See ya around" Kaeya said as he waved

"You're free to come back anytime, your grace" Diluc said

"Thank you, Diluc. And please, call me Ceres" Ceres said as Diluc nodded, and Ceres left the tavern to meet up with her friend

Somewhere else

Standing on the hill by a ruined city, a figure with blond hair and wearing white clothing was standing by looking at the ruins, she glanced to the side and saw an Abyss Mage appearing behind them

"What's the report?" They asked

"Princess, the priestess of the Seven Archons has awoken from her eternal slumber" The Abyss Mage said

"Really now?"

"Yes, but we failed on capturing the girl" The Abyss Mage said

"Whatever it takes, she must be captured at all costs"
