Howdy folks I know some of you weren't expecting this. Given unless you follow me on wattpad and read my Story idea book. You would think I have just thought a new story out my ass. Which is a little true.

I been wanting to do a Genshin Impact with Aether x one of the waifu's for a WHILE NOW! Outside of lemon's of course. It just I haven't been able to think of a good single couple type fic that fits how I like to do things. Or you know seem like I'm copying others. But after a VERY VERY long time of thinking and plotting. With also using my good pal @JeyGonzales3 (GO FOLLOW and make his stories more love!) as a base for this fic.

I have FINALLY! FINALLY Thought of a good plot and have that Slayer flare to it. And of course I had to one with my #1 Aether waifu/best girl (Sucrose is best waifu/girl for Slayer/me). There was no way I wasn't going to do a Aether x Ayaka fic first. 

As crazy some of you find it hard to believe I didn't start out as a harem path lover; I was just a single person lover. I still am and support one ship sometimes. But I do love me a good harem fic. But don't worried we're not doing this here. This is only one lady x Aether fic.

We found ourselves in the land of dendro; Sumeru; mainly in the region's sandy area. A few groups of people are walking, wearing Eremites gear. There were a handful of them. They were what looked like escorting someone? A prisoner.

As the sound of sand crushing below each person's feet under them. We see in the middle of them a lady with pale skin, light silver-blue eyes with sky blue pupils, and very light waist-length blue-white hair styled in a hime cut in front.

This time, the lady's hair was straight with no hairpin in her hair to hold it up; her head was down like she was holding it in shame. Her eyes were slightly deemed, with her hair covering her face. This was Kamisato Ayaka. The daughter of the Kamisato clan was born in the land of Inazuma.

Why was someone like Ayaka Kaimsato in the land of dendro instead of the land of lightning? Well, it's simple; she was a prisoner.

Late into one night, Ayaka was making time to rest her head for another day in the land of dreams. Once, it was past midnight, unknown to everyone in the Kamisato estate. A group of Eremites sneak into Inazuma and enter the estate. Once they knocked out a few of the guards and killed a few others, it didn't take long for them to find where the white-hair heroine was sleeping.

And just as sneaky as they got in, they had minimal issues with kidnapping Ayaka. Even though the youngest daughter of the Kamisato clan tried to put up a fight with her, holding her blade in her hand or vision close, she couldn't do anything, and sadly, she was dragged away into the night. After a nightmare of a boat ride leaving the region of lightning that nearly caused some of the ship to sink, they made it through.

With a long trip going through the rainforest, fighting off some (WIP) beast. Along with some fungi, Ayaka, being a hostage, finds herself now in the desert of the region of knowledge.

How long have they been traveling? Ayaka doesn't know? After asking many times, she has given up looking for an answer. Most of the time, it wasn't yanking her, pushing her, or kicking her; they would often be silent. One of the female members of this group has been making comments to her, saying many about how she has fallen and how it feels to finally be out of that godforsaken hell hole and see the world. Only to be put in another cage.

Ayaka stays silent; part of her wants to bite her tongue and risk herself choking on her own blood. But something deep in her soul/core told her not to do it. Pray to the Electro archon that her brother is probably doing anything in his power to find some way to get out of the region to come to save her.

But what are the chances? The land of lightning/Inazuma has been closed off from the outside world for quite some time. While it was nice to see the different places that the region of Sumeru has to offer, this wasn't the way Ayaka was hoping to see the outside world. Not through books, not through fairy tales, not through rumors, or anything like that. She wanted to see and experience it with her own eyes, not in a limited cage like being a prisoner.

It was a miracle they escaped the region in the first place and got out of it. With Shogun and the tri-commission, the region closed off with the Sakoku decree, and the region went through something called the Vision Hunt decree.

While Ayaka was hoping they would get help to deal with this issue, sadly, the person Thoma told her about sadly something happened after they split, and she hasn't heard from them since. An adventure that has helped Mondstadt and Liyue get word about their next stop was Inazuma, but something happens. Thoma hoped to get him to come to the estate, but his plan fails, and all connection with this adventure has failed.

It has been months since any word has come out about these adventures; many have heard rumors that they have challenged the Raiden Shogun herself, and it is rare for anyone to cross-blade with the Musou no Hitotachi of the Shogun and live to tell the tale.

Deep down, Ayaka doesn't know why she thinks of a random person she hasn't seen face to face. She was sure the person had their reason for turning down Thoma's invention to come to the estate; they had their own mission. Ayaka wishes she had met this so-called famous traveler she heard stories about.

Instead, here she is with a group of Eremites taking her to Celestia, who is nowhere?! Ayaka would rather die to let herself be put to a shameless act; if she could, she would throw herself off a cliff or something to force herself out of this situation. There have been times she wanted to take one of their blades and just end her own life or try to put up a fight. But the one time she tried to reach for one of their blades, one of the bigger members of this group of eremites would strike quickly and nearly knock the wind out of Ayaka, making a grasp for air.

She wasn't expecting the speed and power of the eremites; they mocked her, which made her upset, but after that point, they observed her, and she even thought about trying a stunt like that again; she was in for more of a world of pain. That is why she is covered with some scratches and dirt marks from the toss-around they have done with her.

Along with them, each takes turns watching her when they have to rest; as much as Ayaka tries to outlast them to sleep, they basically chloroform her to knock her out. Ayaka wasn't left with many options.

All she could hope was if there was some higher being out there, there would be someone to help her or give her some type of sign that would allow her to escape. She is a warrior hailing from the land of lightning. Lightning is someone that cannot be taken lightly. Ayaka knows deep in her soul her pride as a Kamisato and a samurai hailing from the land of Inazuma.

Ayaka and her captors continued to struct through the desert for a good while; Ayaka's feet were getting tired, and she needed to rest; she was hungry ......perch.... The heat was getting to her.......her vision began to fade in and out. As she continues to move forward, she is basically on autopilot. She bumps into one of the taller, more built Eremites. Confused why they stopped, she would look around him, squirting her eyes when she noticed a person in a brown cloak? Huh? Did she see things?

With the wind picking up some of the sand on the ground, along with how exhausted Ayaka was, it was hard to see whether it was a person. But judging by how they all stopped and a few other eremites stepped forward, it was safe to say it was most likely a person.

Linebreaker #102: "Hey buddy, care to explain why you're just standing there? You want to continue along your way? We got somewhere to be?!"

Mysterious Traveler: "....."

Halberdier #111: "Hey are you going to speak or stay silent the entire time?"

Mysterious Traveler: "........"

Vanguard #106: "Hmph, i'll just say we kill the sucker. Something tells me word got out that a princess is now in this region and is a bounty out for her I bet. And this fella came to claim it."

A bounty? Would someone really put a bounty on her? Ayaka was curious to know if people outside the region of Inazuma knew who she was? There is no way someone would attempt to kill her? But it brings up why she was captured and who they took her to.

The mysterious Traveler in a cloak looks up, allowing them to see one of his eyes. His right eye was golden like the sun beaming down on them now. The mysterious person would step forward, and many of the eremites would pull out their weapons to prepare for a fight.

The person in a cloak would take only a few steps forward, with the Halberdier eremite stepping forward. Before anyone else could react, the mysterious Traveler zipped across and was in the middle. Surprising all of them at the person's speed?!

Ayaka: 'They have control of electro? The Raiden shogun gave them a vision? I wonder when they got it.'

As they all turned and their reaction finally caught up to their brain, they saw the Traveler in the middle of them. The Clearwater eremite went for a stab at the mysterious fighter. Only for them to dodge and grab the lady's weapon, allowing them all to see the person's dark brown glove. They tried to free their arm, but the mysterious fighter's grip was much tighter than expected.

Clearwater eremite: "W-Why you...l-let go!?!" She tried to pull her arm free just as she felt his grip loosen up; the next thing she felt was she got pulled in close and open palm chin strike.

The person in the cloak would then kick her away, quickly turn their head, and they would pull out a white-green slick color blade from their hip and block the Halberdier eremite's downward strike. The Halberdier eremite tried to force their spear down, but the mysterious Traveler was much more potent as their blade barely moved. The mysterious sword wielder would take a deep breath before cutting the spear in half and doing a jump spin kick, sending the eremite head towards the ground.

The mysterious Traveler who would look at the Linebreaker eremite was still a little stunned by what he had just seen and hadn't fully processed who this was.

The next thing he and the other standing eremites, along with Ayaka, saw was the traveler zip over to the linebreaker Eremite, hitting him right in the gut with his body covered in electro to move fast, but what happened next shocked them.

Just as the mysterious Traveler put more force into his punch, they saw green wind slowly form around his fist as he punched the man, sending him flying!!

The Eremite skidded across the sand a bit before finally stopping.

The remaining look utterly stunned by the action, and if their eyes could be seen, they would be WIDE open. Ayaka herself was shocked by this; this person wields anemo and electro. How can that be?

Daythunder eremite: "You damn bastard!! You'll pay for that!!" The Eremite swung their giant weapon and brought it down to try to hit the mysterious fighter.

But the cloaked Traveler would swing their arm back, and a geo crystal pillar would appear out of the ground, hitting the Eremite and sending him flying a bit. He stops himself, but he coughs blood as he holds his side.

Ayaka turns her attention to the mysterious cloak figure. They're also using the power of geo!??!! But how? That shouldn't be possible? Can someone wield more than one element? They would then turn and look at Ayaka, allowing her to see his golden eyes peek through his outfit. Ayaka was surprised how... this person's eyes were so....captivating? EH!?!

Vanguard eremite: "Who the hell does this person think they are?!? If they think we are going to let this runt walk over us, they have another thing coming. Don't let him anywhere near the prisoner!"

The Stone user eremite got ready to throw down against this user and step a little in front of Ayaka. The mysterious fighter would only hold his palm out, which didn't scare the Stone user eremite.

Stone eremite: "Hmph, if you think any of your elements scared us, you're mistaken, and you will fall." The Stone eremite would feel something around his feet, and he would see some tree root wrapping around his leg?!" "W-What?" Before he could react or do anything, he would see the mysterious fighter zoom over to him and slash past him, electrocuting him. The Eremite collapsed while the others were even more shocked!?!

Ayaka was well? Who was this person? They have only shown they can wield electro, anemo, geo, and dendro!?! But how is this possible?! There were rumors in the world of Teyvat about a mysterious blonde-haired traveler, but it's been some time since Ayaka last heard anything about them?

The next thing that happened was the mysterious Traveler would only slightly lean forward before Ayaka realized she was swept up from her feet?! Ayaka let out a cute little meep sound, not expecting to be picked up bridal-carry style!?! Her cheeks heated up; she wasn't sure if it was from the heat or from something else. Looking up and seeing more of the mysterious person's face, she could make out from the little she could see that they had blonde hair?

Mysterious Traveler: "Hold on tight"

Ayaka: "Eh!?"

Ayaka quickly wraps her arm around the Traveler's neck. The next thing that happens is he zips them a reasonable distance away. Once they got a little bit further away. He would slowly put her down. Who slowly opened her eyes and unwrapped her arms from the Traveler's neck. They would cut the rope that was tied around her legs and arms.

Mysterious Traveler: "Stay here; one of my comrades will watch you. I'll finish off the eremite."

Ayaka: "W-Wait, be careful, you shouldn't take-." The cloak traveler would run back. As Ayaka tried to stand, her legs felt weak, and she would collapse to her knees again. Trying her hardest, she wanted to help, but her body was telling her she was exhausted.

???: "You don't have to worry about them. They pretty much clear out waves of enemies like it's nothing."

Ayaka would turn and see a tall female with lightly tanned skin, sky-blue eyes with yellow cat-ey" pupils, and dusky blonde-accented dark brown hair.

???: "Trust me when I say the traveler can be a scary person to fight."

Ayaka: "The...traveler?" Ayaka would turn back toward the person who returned to finish the job.

The mysterious Traveler walked back to where many of the remaining eremites remained, who all were on edge now; they weren't expecting whoever this person was and how terrifying it would be to fight someone like that.

Vanguard eremite: "You...do you know the amount of headache and trouble we went through to get here! I'lll be damned if we lose someone like her! We came too far for this."

The vanguard eremite would swing her axe at the cloaked Traveler only for them to grab it easily with one hand, knock the weapon out of her hand, and do an open palm strike right to the stomach of the vanguard, knocking her back before he brought his knee up to knee her right in the face and grab her face slamming her into the dirt.

Standing up as he would dodge an arrow from the Crossbow eremite. Who went to load another shot to fire another arrow at the cloaked Traveler. But before he had time to aim, the cloaked figure slammed his fist down into the sand, causing crystal pillars of geo to rise from the ground hitting all remaining eremites, making howl out in pain as they launched into the air. This allows Ayaka to see the mysterious Traveler's face. He turns out to be a male with long braided hair, an earring with an orb, and two smaller white feathers on his left ear. They looked up, and Ayaka was utterly stunned by how they looked; they looked fairly...handsome. Wait what!?!

As the Traveler finally finished all the eremites, he would dust his shoulder off as he walked past many of the knockout and groaning eremites. Making his sword disappear. Walking over to Ayaka and the other tall lady. The Traveler stopped in front of Ayaka as he looked down at her, and she looked up at him; both said not a word as it felt like it was just the two of them and they could tell the other many stories and adventures each different life just from being each other presence; both their eyes told so much. Each hiding their own secret and pain.

Mysterious Traveler: "Are you ok?"

Ayaka: "O-Oh, I'm ok. T-Thank you for r-rescuing m-me." Ayaka tried to stand before her legs gave out again, and she was about to fall again, but this time, the mysterious Traveler caught her. As his arm would see her and wrap around her back. She would get a deeper look into the Traveler's eyes and stare at them...she was utterly captivated by the golden shine and warm feeling they gave off. Surprisingly, it made her heart skip a beat, something Ayakawas wasn't expecting.

???: "*giggle* Well, I don't think Miss white Princess here is in the state to walk. It is clear she is clearly exhausted. Hey Traveler, how about you carrying her. I'm sure she wouldn't mind"

Ayaka: "N-No r-really I'm ok...." Ayaka tried to push herself off and would only be able to stand for a few more seconds before, all of a sudden, her body felt extremely heavy, and her head got lightheaded. She would nearly fall if not for the blonde-hair Traveler catching her. She began to breathe very heavily and panting for air.

The Traveler would put his hand on her forehead; Ayaka would begin to go in and out of consciousness. Before she ultimately passed out, she heard the two people talking a bit more and could only make out a few words.

???: "Fever...hurry....carry.....are you sure?....Aether?"

Aether....that is the name of the mysterious blonde-haired traveler that saved her.....it is such a handsome and nice name...Ayaka's eyes would close, and she would succumb to exhaustion.

And that's the first chapter!! As many you can already can see this take slightly different route. Things goes much different and as we can see Ayaka and Aether first meeting is not in Inazuma this time.

Along with the fact she was taken from the region so it going be quite an adventure to get her back home. 

Wanted to make an Genshin fic that felt unique and was different from what I usually do; couldn't do one without doing one for best girl and best boy of genshin. And for all those who thinking this is an harem/poly. I'm sorry this is only a Aether x Ayaka fic.

Wanted to go back to my roots before I join the movement that was Aether harem supremacy!!!

How different did things goes around here and what will change? Well have to wait and see; hope you all enjoy reading this fic and can't wait to hear your thoughts.
