One of the top things in this fandom that I can't stand is the English dubbed voice actor of Paimon. Before anyone makes any assumptions, I don't dislike them because they're the English dubbed voice actor. I dislike them because of their actions and words.

Getting info from the English voice actors and the English team in general does NOT mean the info is canon! Hoyoverse is a Chinese company, not an American one. What the English team claims isn't canon. The most it is is their own headcanons and thoughts. That's it.

Paimon's VA, Corina, really annoys me because of their ridiculous past (and now recent) comments. Once again, anyone can have headcanons and their own opinions about things, BUT it's a problem when those same people claim or pass those opinions as a fact when it's not.

One of the reasons why Kaeluc is so problematic to the Westerners is because of Corina. Someone asked them to explain and confirm Kaeya and Diluc's relationship and if it's okay to ship them. Corina gave a reply back and said something along the lines of:

I asked my team and they confirmed Kaeya and Diluc are brothers so no shipping them would be incest

Once again: an English team's comment is NOT reliable and shouldn't be seen as "canon". Hoyoverse is a Chinese company. They incorporated cultural Chinese elements to the game (elements that many Westerners won't understand and know about) and it doesn't help that the English team butchered the translations.

As I already explained in my Kaeluc chapter: you are free to see them as brothers, but nothing is wrong with people who see them as something else. The problem with Corina's reply is how they passed the info as a FACT when it is not. It's only a fact because the info they got was in their favor. Obviously the English team would see them as brothers/adopted brothers. America doesn't even know the idea of "sworn brothers" lmao.

Corina also claimed a bunch of other ridiculous things like Paimon being agender when that isn't even confirmed by the Chinese Hoyoverse team. I recently was linked to this Twitter post made by this person and it gave me a good laugh lmao. Just search up "Corina Zhongli is a woman" and it's the first Twitter link by "len."

Zhongli technically doesn't have a gender BUT he is in a male form, so for people to call him a "man" and "he/him" aren't being transphobic or homophobic or whatever lmao.

(Just an edit to say that if you guys read the comment made by Moya and check out the link, Hoyoverse confirmed that Venti has always been male through Bili Bili comments. I'll bring this up to my next discussion with my friends who can read Chinese text better than me lmao, but from what I can understand, the translation is accurate).

Which now leads me to the most recent comment Corina made. Apparently they're telling people on Tiktok that Childe is a bad brother. You can watch the reposted video on Twitter if you search up "Corina Boettger".

I don't have Tiktok but a lot of Twitter users who do are explaining what's going on. A person made a comment about how Childe is a good brother which made Corina reply back with a video explaining why he isn't. Said some things like Childe is a bad brother because he didn't tell Teucer that he's a Harbringer and made ruin guards.

It's gotten so popular that people are hating on artists who draw Childe lmao..... like these kids are leaving hate and death threats to artists who draw and love Childe..... just because it's "confirmed" that Childe is a bad brother because you know, an English voice actor said so.

And again, the problem is that Corina is claiming things and passing them off as canon when they are not. Yeah, if you think Childe is a bad brother, cool. That's your own opinion and you're allowed to have it. But wording it in a way to make your opinion appear like the truth? Stop.

And obviously because there are kids all over Tiktok, they easily believe everything Corina says.

I'll save the "Razor is confirmed to be non-binary" for the next chapter with another topic.
Some people in the LGBTQ+ community needs to be more respectful and stop shoving their opinions down people's throats. Being aggressive and pushing your views onto other people isn't going to do anything.

I'll just ask a basic end question for this chapter. What do you think the fandom talks about the most? I have to give the basic "sexuality/identity" answer lmao. Obviously Kaeya is a demi, trans, gay, agender, nonbinary, aro character. If you think otherwise, you're transphobic and homophobic, gtfo.
