"You make a good pillow, when you're not drunk that is."

I kicked off my shoes and dipped my legs into the cool water of Cider lake, after a whole day of serving clients at my newly opened jewelry store in Mondstadt. My days of working at Angel's Share and surrounded by a certain drunkard were finally over.

Heat rose to my face at the thought of the blue-haired Cavalry-Captain. "Damn why am I thinking about him now? " a little pout formed at my lips as I tossed a pebble into the water, causing the fish to frantically swim away.

"Thinking of who?~" I jumped slightly as the blue-haired captain slumped next to me with two bottles of wine in his hands.

Punching his side in frustration only left him bursting in teaseful laughter, as he set the bottles between us on the grass with a wide grin on his devilishly adora-I mean stupid face. "Missed me?" he teased, slighlt puffing his chest which nearly went unnoticed by me if his chest was never so . . . Exposed. "Hehe like the view?"

"Huh? Me? Missing you?!" I smiply scoofed and looked away, gaze wandering back to my feet. " N-never."

"Lies~ " opening the bottles, he handed one to me."To you finally opening your dream shop~ It will be rude to deny my gift."

With a scoof I took the bottle from his hand and popped open the lid, before taking a small sip. "This doesn't mean anything," he only hummed at my response and took a gulp of his own drink. "Why are you here anyway?"

            "Just taking a stroll," his casual lie was nothing impressive or out of the ordinary for me, but I did not bother to negate.

           "If you say so, ow Captain Kaeya," a smile grazes his lips, as he watches me take another sip of the wine bottle. " Not buying that excuse though."

           "Of course you won't," his chuckle irked me, yet somehow sent butterflies fluttering in my guts. " Such a shame . . . "

            " What is?" I repeated in confused."What are whinning about?"

            He does not look at me and gazes at the water beneath us, before plucking a Calla Lilly and letting out a sigh," Such a shame you don't fall for my charm~"

           Despite his flirty tone, I could easily sense the troubled emotions lingering behind his blue-star-like-eyes. "Kaeya . . ." he stood up to leave, seemingly in a rush, not giving me a chance to speak.

"I must not bother a young lady with such feeble emotions on a festive day, excuse me."

            Watching his tall figure stand up and leaving my side made my thoughts jumble in a state of panic. It was as if I wanted to know what troubled him. . . No, I want to know what troubled him.

            "W-wait! KAEYA!" pulling me feet out of the water, I left my wine bottle waiting at the mossed stone edge as I  rushed after the Cavalry Captain without thinking. " KAEYA hold up!"

             He froze at his spot to my surprise and stopped walking, before turning around to face me, which I personally did not expect.

        Already running, it became hard to stop, and only ended up crashing into the knight, sending both of us tumbling to the mossy-bank of the lake with Kaeya acting as a cushion for me. "Q-quite the force m'lady," I buried my face in his chest upon hearing his slightly raspy voice from the impact. . . And not because I was embaressed alone.

          His chest was soft. Illegally soft, like a puffy-pillow. I could feel the lake's water brush against my feet and clothes. "Ahh, you got my clothes all wet~" no words came to my mind to form a smart reply for the blue haired knight. " Quite now are we?"

           His wet gloved hands pulled me up closer to his face." Pillow chest," I blurted out like an idiot, as heat rose to my cheeks.

            "Pillow chest?" he chuckled, his hair drenched in the water of the lake. . . . He was quite . . . Beautiful."Hmm? Do you have a fever m'lady?"

           "What with the "m'lady" part?!" I growled as he petted my head, sitting up, and wrapping my legs around his waist and pulling me closer to him.

           "How does Little Feather sound?" he hushed into my ear, before pecking my cheek. " Hmm?~ "

            Nuzzling my face into his chest, I planted a small kiss there, before standing up and pulling him to his feet. "I-if you insist," I took the Calla Lilly that he had dropped when we fell, and placed it behind his ear. " I love you too."

             " Who said I confessed?" He slyly smirked, taking my hand with his.

             "Say what?!" I bursted punching him in the gut, as he doubled over clutching his stomach, he held onto my shoulder desperately for support.

             "J-just kidding," he recovered his straight posture, before clearing his throat, and guiding me to the deeper parts of the lake. " I'll make sure to reach your expectations my Little Feather."

             His sly tone was not reassuring, but his face said otherwise. "No need to try," I hissed as his arms snaked around me underneath the water surface, and tugging closer, till our bodies touched. " Your good enough you drunk of an ass  Cavalry Captain."

           The lack of space between us and the heaviness of my clothes clinging desperately to my body sent a fluttering yet relaxed feeling electrifying deep into my bones. " Kaeya. . . " He's gaze became softer, and my body eased  as my hands found their way to his slightly exposed, wet chest.

          The water seemed to balance the heat burning between us. "May I?" he asked, face leaning close to mine.

             No reply left me, for I cupped his cheek and pulled him down to connect our lips. I felt my heart burst from my mind empty and filled with only thoughts of the Captain before me. " Mhm~" he slipped in his tongue, and tilted his head to the side and crouching down into the water, till out heads were only poking out of the clear blue surface, with our hair swaying to the current. His half lided eyes were drowned in desire yet I could feel the wavering hesitation within him.

            "Say it," I demanded, once I pulled away for a breath. " I want to hear it from you too."

            "Hear what?" his lips curled into a smirk.

            Feeling raged and flustered, I pintched his cheeks mercilessly. "Ow! Fine fine! Ow!" he whimpered as I let go of him. "I love you my cruel cruel Little Feather~"

            His teaseful expression covered up his emotions, but I was not gonna take that . "Tsk, say it again," I squished his cheeks and spoke more sternly. "Say it."

            The water rippled as he cupped my cheeks as well, and kissed my forehead.

"I.Love.You. My Little Feather. It's about time you fell for me too ~"
