Got this idea from Kaveh's voice lines about Nilou. Happy birthday Kaveh! 🎂

"Where are we all going? Alhaitham, if this is trick, I will get back at you"

Kaveh was right now blindfolded with Alhaitham pushing him from behind and Paimon and Aether pulling his hands. He could hear his roommate sighing in annoyance and he can imagine him rolling his eyes.

"Do you have to make a fuss, Kaveh?" He heard his voice, making him further annoyed. "Just relax Kaveh. We're almost there" Tighnari assured him, hoping to ease down any arguing between the two.

"We're here. Try to keep it down. We are in public" Cyno mentioned as Alhaitham stopped him from walking, untying his blindfold.

"Ok Kaveh! We're here!" He heard Paimon's voice say in excitement and the blindfold was finally off him. His eyes blinked to adjust his vision as he took in his surroundings.

They were at the Zubyar Theater amongst the audience. Kaveh had seen it and walked past it couple times before. But he never had the time to attend one of its shows. "Happy birthday!" Paimon exclaimed excitedly as he looked at his friends suprised, and confused.

His friends explained that Alhaitham told told them it was Kaveh's birthday but because he had errands to do, they decided to send the Traveler and Paimon to distract him while Cyno, Tighnari and Alhaitham did those errands so that Kaveh could attend one of Nilou's performances at the theater. Since he wanted to see it, they thought it would make the perfect birthday gift for their friend. Although it touched his heart that his friends went far and beyond to give him this chance, he was more surprise to hear that it was Alhaitham's idea and he was the one who planned everything

"So, Alhaitham does care me about. How thoughtful of you" Kaveh teased his roommate, leaning an arm on his shoulder with an amused smirk. Alhaitham glanced his green eyes away, feeling his irritation grow at Kaveh having fun with this. "I only did it so you don't come saying that I do nothing to help you out. Just to be clear, you will owe me for this the next time I come asking for help" he pointed out to him in irritation.

Cyno and Tighnari shook their heads and sighed at them. "Sh! The show is starting guys" the Traveler told him as everyone turned to the stage. Nilou appeared walking up to the edge of the stage. Her hands moved, emitting dewdrops at the tips of her slim fingers.

She slowly ran her hand down in the air, leaving a trail of water in her wake of the movement. The dancer repeated with her other arm on the opposite direction. Lifting them up, she twirled her hands, the water following her movement, leaving behind these shimmers of light.

Kaveh's eyes widen in awe. Nilou's movements were slow, and graceful. The way the water moved matched her exact movements. It was like she was painting with water. Like she was dancing with it. It wa mesmerizing to Kaveh. Made him feel like a child. Now he could see why people spoke highly of her performance.

Then, her blue eyes that shimmered like an oasis looked at him, a smile on her face. He blinked surprised because it seemed to be directed at him. 'Was she looking at me? No. She was probably looking at the crowd' he thought in his head. Kaveh returned his attention to the show, noticing the smirk Alhaitham wore on his face. That look intentional.

Little did Kaveh know, his friends informed Nilou that it was Kaveh's birthday today. So, she had her own surprise for him in this performance. The dancer took a leap down in front the audience. As she danced, she got closer to Kaveh. Nilou smiled warmly at him which made him smile nervously at her. Up close, her blue eyes were more brighter up close. They seem to illuminate when she used her vision.

However, he couldn't think about that for long because next thing he knew, her petite hands with her slim fingers painted with blue on her nails took his hands, and pulled him up on the stage. Alhaitham snickered, seeing he was gonna enjoy this. "Um..." he tried to say something but couldn't figure out what words to use.

Nilou smiled softly at him, seeing he was flustered. Made sense since he was unaware it was part of his surprise. She gently grabbed his hands, looking in his red eyes. "It's ok. Follow my lead" she assured him, using the water to guide his arms and legs. But their hands remained intact as they danced.

Kaveh was nervous to mess up and embarrass himself in front of everyone. If he did, Alhaitham would be sure to make fun of him for it. However, he noticed something. The water that swirled around his arms, legs and waist was guiding him in dance and the movements. It wasn't forceful. More like a gentle hand adjusting his body to move and match in sync with Nilou.

The water swirled around her body to hide the intentions so that the dance had purpose. "Wow! They're doing good! Paimon was worried about how Kaveh was gonna dance. But it seems like Nilou has it cover" Paimon commented to her friends who smiled in relief. They weren't sure how well Kaveh would do but Alhaitham took extra steps by asking Nilou for assistance in that part.

It was intriguing to Kaveh. The performer had creatively thought of a plan to include him in the show and help him at the same. The two had their hands pressed together, moving closer to eachother. The water circled them and glancing down, a pool of water emerged below their feet, emitting this glow that astonished Kaveh.

The water beneath their feet and around them bursted, shaped like a lotus blossoming. The audience awed at this beautiful scene before them. But it was more beautiful from inside the lotus to Kaveh. He could see the shape of the petals of the lotus. The light from the water shimmering. It was all so beautifully designed and creative.

He heard a soft chuckle and glanced down at Nilou. That was when he realized how close they really were. Her blue eyed were really glow. He wasn't sure if it was from using her vision or if it from being inside a water lotus. But it caught him off guard and found himself staring

Nilou smiled at him, seeing his confusion on what was happening. All that mattered for her was that he had a good birthday. She had learn how he had been through so much in his life and when told it was his birthday, she wanted to give him something good for all he had went through.

"Happy birthday, Kaveh"

She spoke to him, her eyes shimmering even more like an ocean beneath a sunset. Kaveh stared at her surprised. 'How did she know it was my...?' He thought in his head until he realized that it had to be his friends. His eyes glanced over as they watched the show. But he did notice Alhaitham's smirk. Yep. It was all planned out.

Still, it did touch him that his friends and Nilou went far and beyond for his birthday. Turning back to the theater's star performer, he offered a gentle smile. "Thank you, Nilou" he told her gratefully. The lotus faded, simmering down as the two turned to the audience.

She bowed down as Kaveh did the same, seeing that now the show had ended. The audience roared in applause at the performance. It made Kaveh flustered but it was quite the experience for him. He glanced at Nilou. He had always wanted to see one of her performances. But he didn't expect to be part of one with her. It was something he wouldn't forget. Nilou glanced at him and he glanced his eyes down shyly with a nervous smile. 'She has such pretty eyes. I better not look or else I'll get stuck staring' he thought in his heard but she merely chuckled. It was enough that he enjoyed it.

"Wow! Looks like the birthday surprise for Kaveh was a success!" Paimon exclaimed to her friends who were happy to see it work. "Yes" Alhaitham agreed, clapping. While his roommate was too much to handle, he was glad to see him happy.
