(So originally this was going to be a Jason x Winter part 2 chapter but then my good friend Doctmar123 requested a Keqing chapter so Doct? This one's for you bro, enjoy)

*Third Person, No One's P.O.V., Streets of Mondstadt*

Starting the chapter off we find the streets of Mondstadt all bursting with life as per usual the sun shining in the back ground, the wind blowing across the city carrying the smell of sweet flowers through out the streets and the laughter and joy of all the citizens echoing through the skies it's a beautiful day filled with beautiful sights that you just cant help but feel happy with. Such is the case with a certain purple haired Yuheng who's currently strolling through town  content smile on her face over the sights surrounding her.

Keqing- *Content sigh* What a beautiful city, the people laughing, the sun shining and the air blowing through your hair I can certainly see why most would prefer this over Liyue it's truly a beautiful city that should be looked up to by other's throughout all of Teyvat.

She speaks softly continuing to walk around and enjoying the sights all around her. Strolling through town she encounters a duo of children chasing a ball around when said ball bumps her leg and stops just before her. Glancing down she finds the two kids standing there. The first is a blonde green eyed girl the second a slightly older brown haired blue eyed boy both looking really shy as they hold their arms behind their backs. Smiling softly at the sight the girl bends down and picks the ball up before crouching down to the kids height and handing it off speaking softly as to not scare them.

Keqing- This yours?

Boy- Uh-huh.

Keqing- It's a really nice ball one that I'm sure you'd like back wouldn't you?

Girl- Y-yes......

Keqing- Here take it.

She speaks tenderly holding the ball out and handing it off a soft and kind smile on her face that quickly changes the kids own expression into ones of confidence over the kind woman. Reaching forward they take the ball back and with a quick goodbye the two are off to play once more chasing the ball and laughing all the while. Smiling at the sight the girl stands back up and continues walking admiring all the sights around her.

Keqing- Truly a beautiful place filled with beautiful people, love, hope and kindness. This is exactly what I hope for in the new Liyue. 

She speaks as she walks around still sight seeing before her eyes catch on to a particularly pleasant sight. Glancing up she finds Thomas currently stood atop a watch tower securing a large turret to the top. Watching him hammer away at the thing she can't help but notice his muscles as he works the sweat pooling down his face giving him a hard working and very charming look to his face. Staring up for a moment her eyes filled with stars over the sight she then slaps herself across the face for staring.

Keqing- 'Get a hold of yourself!'

Thomas- Hey Keqing!!!

Keqing- Huh?

The girl questions her name suddenly being called. Glancing back up she finds the male now perched at the edge of the tower peering down at her a sly grin on his face.

Thomas- How's it going? You doing alright?

Keqing- I'm doing great thank you and how have you been these last couple days?

Thomas- Hopeful and happy.

Keqing- Well good I'm happy that you're happy.

Thomas- Wow thanks I-*Bang!*

The male starts but is cut off as the turret behind him suddenly begins sputtering as a whole gang of pigeons just ganged up on it clogging the barrel with feathers and sticks. 

Thomas- YOU STUPID SKY RATS!!!

Keqing- Oh!

The girl exclaims over his sudden change in personality before watching him quickly excuse himself and go to fix the turret along with murdering every pigeon responsible. Smiling softly a this the girl continues walking through town her mind unable to burn the memory of the male's rugged sweating face of clenching muscles, the thought leaves the girl flustered.

Keqing- 'G-get a hold of yourself K-keqing! Now's not the time for cute boy's it's time for sight seeing and exploration and then you can ask him out on a date!' Right priorities! 

The girl speaks firmly clenching her fists and marching forward her head held high and spirits just as high before bumping directly into someone just in front of her. Gripping her nose in pain she glances up perplexed as the person she bumped in to is just standing there doing nothing. Questioning this she decides to brush it off and simply go around but finds another statue person standing there and then another and even another after that.

Keqing- Okay what is going on!?!

She lightly shouts frustrated over all the people just standing around blocking the path down the street. Pushing her way through the crowd the girl soon finds out exactly what's going on. In the center of all these people stands a white haired male standing back his hands held out defensively as he slowly back away from the adoring crowd.

Girl 1- I love you!

Girl 2- I love you more!!!

Girl 3- MARRY ME!!!

Jason- Okay just calm down there one at a time people.

All- Let's get him!

Jason- Oh crap. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

The male screams terrified as the crowd begins chasing him through out town all trying to tackle him down and force him on a date with them. Watching them walk off the Yuheng stands there a sour look on her face.

Keqing- Hmph, what an inconsiderate playboy letting these girls embarrass themselves like this for him.

She hmph's already forming a negative opinion on the male as she watches him run off still being chased throughout town. Turning on her heel then then continues walking through town with many more encounters with the scientist and unfortunately the same white haired hoodlum too. Walking around she meets up with the scientist as she watches him fend off a hoard of slimes just outside the walls, then she encounters the white haired male once more when he accidentally blasts a hole through a watch tower after sneezing.

Thomas- Damnit! I just fixed that one!!!

Jason- Sorry!

Keqing- Look at that fool can't even mind his own manners and is now forcing Thomas to work double time because of his own incompetence.

She grumbles with a glare thrown at the male then a few moments later she encounters him once again. This time he's standing just outside the city on the bridge where he shoots down several pigeons leaving Timmie crying in despair as he collects the fowl.

Keqing- And now he's blatantly making kids cry for his own needs. I truly despise this wretched boy.

She speaks with venom her opinion on the male only growing more and more negative as the day continues and her encounters with him increase: Shooting down pigeons, leaving girls despaired over his blunt rejections, destroying walls and city property due to his clumsiness or sneezing. All these and more lead up to the girl shaking with fury as she watches him run around town at super human levels sending debris flying everywhere. Puffing her cheeks out in anger the girl decides to simply let is pass and focus on other things as she walks off where she soon bumps into Thomas, the male immediately lifts her spirits.

Thomas- Hey Ke-woah you okay?

The male asks concerned over the wrath filled look currently blanketing her face. Hearing the concern in his voice the girl starts to feel better and her expression softens if only a little.

Keqing- Fine, I've just not had anything to eat all day is all.

The girl lies hoping the male will believe her as she hears the white haired one currently blasting something behind her. Luckily for her he does in fact believe her little white lie and suggests.

Thomas- Well in that case why don't you let me treat you?

Keqing- Huh?

Thomas- Yeah come on, I'll treat you to lunch after all I am feeling a little peckish myself.

The male speaks kindly with a kind smile leaving the girl blushing deeply over before following him throughout town where they soon stop at good hunter. Gesturing for the girl to find a seat the male heads towards the front counter to make their orders.

Thomas- Hey Sara how's it going?

Sara- Oh! Hey Thomas! Lovely day we're having aren't we?

The girl speaks with a happy close eyes smile leaving the male chuckling over her bright and cheerful attitude.

Thomas- Haha what's got you in such a good mood today?

Sara- Not much but I have just recently gotten over Jason and found someone else I like more then him.

Thomas- Well that's great! So tell me who's the lucky man?

The male speaks teasingly placing his arms over the counter and leaning in towards the woman who begins blushing deeply at this and slowly backing away with many stutters.

Sara- N-n-no one it's f-fine, y-you wouldn't be interested in this a-anyway.

Thomas-...............Okay if you say so! Alright so let me get-

The male speaks simply before going on to order a quick meal for the two before he's seen sat directly in front of the purple neko the two soon falling into conversation.

Keqing- So it's been a while since we last hung out like this.

Thomas- Yeah that's my fault I've just had a lot going on as of late.

Keqing- Don't apologize you've done nothing wrong you've simply been helping around town and helping keep this place secure and safe like any good citizens should. It's definitely a good thing. 'Certainly better than THAT guy'

Thomas- Well thanks but enough about me, how've you been? How are you liking Mondstadt so far?

Keqing- Well it's certainly a lot smaller then Liyue that's for sure but what it lacks in size it more then makes up for in liveliness and tranquility. This city is truly an incredible place to live with it's bright colors and lights, the happy smiles and cheerful laughter ringing through the air and the sweet smell of lowers being carried through out the streets. It's really an incredible place. As for how I've been well I'm happy.

The girl speaks with a smile which is soon returned by the male as they continue talking and laughing, eating and drinking away the day flying by around them as the skies turn a light orange color blanketing the city in a warm lighting. Unfortunately while the colors may have been warm the comments of nearby townsfolk weren't as when the two were currently laughing at a story told by the scientist regarding his adventures they hear a group of ladies speaking aside.

Woman 1- Hey who's that purple haired girl? She's so pretty.

Woman 2- Didn't you know? That's lady Keqing the yuheng from the city of Liyue.

Woman 1- Wow is that really her?

Woman 3- Yeah and it looks like she's on a date with Thomas there. How strange.

Woman 1- What's strange about it?

Woman 3- Nothing it's just, well if you were as incredible and beautiful as she was I'm sure you'd have plenty of charming men all clambering to be yours including Jason.

Woman 2- You're right, I mean I get it Thomas is nice and all but between him and Jason it's no contest I'd choose the fast one any day and who can blame me? Nothing against Thomas or anything but come on who would reasonably pick him over Jason?

Woman 1- I guess she would.

Woman 3- Guess she's after the smaller fish in the sea. Oh well more for us then.

The women speaks all shrugging at the girl's odd choice in dates before walking off. Back to the date we find Keqing glaring at all the woman her eyes filled with hatred and a look like she wants to set them on fire.

Keqing- 'Whoever this Jason person is he has a lot of nerve charming these girls and leaving them with such harsh opinions on Thomas here'

She thinks turning her attention back to said male and immediately feels her heart ache over the sight of the male gazing down sorrowfully at his empty plate. Feeling hurt at this the girl places a hand over his and speaks.

Keqing- You heard them?

Thomas- It's fine.......

Keqing- No it's not. You shouldn't feel deterred over their ridiculous comments concerning this Jason fellow. It's okay you're a good person with a big heart that I have nothing but respect and care for. So what if those idiots choose Jason over you? I didn't and however amazing or cool this Jason character is he can't possibly be on the same level as you.

She speaks softly trying to console the male as she rubs her fingers against his knuckles feeling the warmth of his hand on her own before watching as he gazes up at her a soft and thankful smile on his face.

Thomas- Thanks for that.

Keqing- Anytime.

They exchange their faces each blushing red and heating up over the sight of one another. Staying like this for a while longer the male then excuses himself as he goes to head in for the night leaving the girl alone with her thoughts.

Keqing- 'Absolutely ridiculous how those brats could possibly say those things about him so what if this Jason fellow is supposedly really handsome or cool? I highly doubt he's on the same level as Thomas here. There's no way he's nearly as nice or charming, hard working and dedicated. It's crazy to think that anyone could possibly chose him over Thomas and I swear when I find out exactly who this Jason character is I'll'

*CRASH!!!*

The girl thinks but is suddenly torn from her thoughts as something crashes down onto the table beside her damm near crushing the girl. Glancing over at the sight of the current smoking crater that was once a table she see's exactly what just happened and that the something was actually a someONE, more specifically the white haired male from earlier currently lying on the floor his eyes dizzy and he groans in pain.

Jason- Ow.......

Keqing- 'Oh Archon's this fool again well I suppose I could at least help him up'

She thinks before carefully descending down into the crater where she stands at the males side lightly kicking his leg and imploring him to get up. 

Jason- Huh?

Keqing- Come on get up.

She speaks crouching down and gripping the male by the shoulders harshly dragging him upwards and forcing him to his feet. Once up the male begins patting himself down trying to brush aside all the dust and debris across his armor before surprising tue girl as he break out in hysteric laughter.

Keqing- Why are you laughing? You just fell from one hundred feet up!

Jason- Three hundred actually and I'm laughing because that was awesome!!!

Keqing- What was? How'd you get up there? 'This boy is absolutely ridiculous'

She asks in total disbelief over the males current attitude over what just happened feeling annoyed over it before half listening as he explains how he just recently ramped off a large mountain to try and reach that and I quote "Really cool flying castle in the sky thing above the ground".

Jason- Didn't quite reach it but that's I'll try again tomorrow.

Keqing- Good luck getting up there, you're never gonna do it. Do you know what that "Flying castle thing" is?

Jason- No what?

Keqing- That is the home of the archons, quite fitting too as these supposed gods of ours do enjoy placing themselves in a position over us mortals status and physicality.

Jason- Home of the gods? Well now I REALLY wanna reach it.

The male speaks excitedly with a massive grin on his face as he begins scoping out the floating castle several aerodynamic thoughts clearly going through his mind at the moment. Groaning at this he girl then decides she's had enough bother's for one day and starts to head off but is called back as the male speaks.

Jason- Hey I never did quite catch your name.

Keqing- Keqing.

She speaks simply and quickly before once again turning to walk off but is equally played again as the male replies with his own name, a name that makes the girls resentment for the male all the more malicious.

Jason- I'm Jason, Jason Smith.

Keqing- 'Jason? As in the Jason from those girls's comments?'

She thinks turning back to glance at the male who's currently stretching his limbs several cracks and pops bellowing out as he does so. Eyeing the male up she comes to a quick conclusion.

Keqing- 'I'll admit he is quite handsome but that is completely tarnished and spat upon due to his insufferable personality and the fact that he leaves girls embarrassing themselves around him and saying horrible things behind Thomas's back. Conclusion: I don't like him'

She thinks bluntly before finally walking off leaving the male waving goodbye and not having the gesture returned. Seeing his the male simply shrugs as it doesn't bother him before walking off to find some materials. Back to Keqing we find her currently inside her room changed into her purple cat pajamas and lying down in bed, tucking herself in before falling asleep where she's soon awaited by a nightmare. Her nightmare starts off nice and peaceful, the girl is sat down at a small tea shop she recognizes as Madamn Goselle's Tea shop in Liyue, she's sat down sipping a cup of tea enjoying the company of not only herself but the male currently sat in front of her.

Thomas- And I said "Hey man if you're not gonna pay for that with money then you're gonna have to pay in another way" and then I broke both his arms.

Keqing- Just as well anyone who's willing to rob a man of his creations after he's worked so hard on it deserves a cruel punishment and I think yours was just splendid.

Thomas- The arm breaking or my FANTASTIC wit?

Keqing- Both.

She replies with a soft smile as she sips away at her tea never once breaking eye contact with the male as she finds herself lost in his own. And then just when all seemed nice and peaceful-*BOOM!!!*

Thomas- GAHH!!!

The male shouts as a sudden explosion knocks the male aside blowing him out the building and into the harbor where he quickly vanished beneath the murky waters. As you can this left the neko in total distraught as she bolts up from her seat screaming out.

Keqing- THOMAS!!!

Before she quickly dashes outside concerned over the males well being. Once out she goes to head for the harbor but as soon as she steps foot outside she immediately feels her oxygen leave her lungs, her body tremble and eye begin to water of what she see's: Liyue in complete ruin. Walls are crumbling, citizens are panicking, milileth are dying, buildings burning up. The whole city is crumbling around as she can only stand there and watch in horror. Standing there for who know's how much longer she then turns to the sound of pained grunting beside her. Turning she finds a young woman limping towards her her hand stretched put as she pleads for help.

Woman- Help me, please!

The woman cries out. Hearing this the yuheng immediately rushes over and goes to offer her assistance but as s reaches out to help the woman she's immediately pushed back. Concerned over this she goes to ask what the big deal is but before she can say anything the woman begins screaming.

Woman- It's your fault, IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!! YOU CAUSED THIS, MONSTER!!!

The woman screams jabbing her fingers in the direction of the girl as she continues her assault of harsh words and constant accusations over the fall of Liyue. Going to speak and address her concerns over the woman's words the yuheng finds herself unable to speak at all only a faint hiss coming from her mouth. Going to speak once more she finds the same result before watching as several more citizens begin rising from the ashes of the city all sauntering towards her chanting.

Crowd- Monster, you caused this, this is all your fault!!! You should've been here!!!

"I TRIED, I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING" the girl tries to scream as the crowd begin circling her slowly pushing her back towards the harbor but once again is unable to speaks even a single syllable. Stepping back more and more she then hears a loud splash behind her before feeling herself being grabbed. Craning her neck back she gives a silent gasp over the scientist currently standing there his arms wrapped around her his face distorted is wrath and agony his cyber eye a dull grey color.

Thomas- YOU CAUSED THIS, IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!!

Keqing- 'NO!!! Not you too please!!!' 

She screams internally as she tries desperately to free herself form the males quite literal steel grip before in a sudden backwards lurch she feels both herself and the male falling backwards and into the waters as the male continues screaming accusations and blames at her the girl's voice returning but only in the form of horrified screams and cries of terror as she sinks below the surface and deep into the murky waters below before disappearing into the cold watery darkness.

Keqing- NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

The girl screams suddenly bolting straight up from her bed a pool of sweat surrounding the girl as she begins to hyperventilate over the nightmare. Continuing to freak out for a bit longer the girl then mentally berates herself over this and 1....2.....3....

Keqing- I'm calm, it was just a nightmare. It wasn't real, Thomas is alive and well and Liyue is perfectly safe-*Bam!*

Is a sound heard at her window. Glancing up perplexed at this the girl head over to her window and opens it up to find a small brown pigeon sprawled on her window sill. Concerned at this the girl immediately scoops the poor creature into her arms and bring it inside where she sets it down gently on her bed. After doing that she quickly examines it's bodies to thankfully find no injuries before finally noticing a small piece of paper attached to it's right leg.

Keqing- Oh?

The girl oh's intrigued by the sight of paper. Carefully removing the paper as to about any more harm done to the creature se then flips it's over a few times and gasps as she finds her name written on one side in golden ink. Glancing around a bit unsure of what to do she then shrugs at this and unfold the paper to read.

Dear Keqing

Ever since your departure from Liyue I have found myself questioning why I ever let you go, your replacement that I hired is simply dreadful at her job and makes me really miss you. Nevertheless I'm not jere to complain and I do hope you're enjoying your stay at Mondstadt along with a certain scientist man~ 

The girl reads falling into a deep blush over the last couple words. Pushing this aside she continues on.

No instead I have written this to inform you that Liyue is in need of help-

Keqing- WHAT!?!

The girl screams shocked over the words on the paper. Reading it again to make sure she didn't imagine them she begins to freak put a bit recalling her dream from last night as her eye's fly across the sheet.

It's nothing major just a couple of rowdy treasure hoarders who've all been armed with some sort of futuristic weaponry. Although the milileth are struggling to fend them off so I would like to ask for your assistance in the matter, you've always been an excellent fighter. Come as soon as you can.

After finishing the letter the girl set's the sheet down on her bed before quickly joining it as she plops herself down gripping her head tightly as the screams of all the horrifying citizens from last night's dream come rushing back.

Keqing- Liyue.......in danger? Could that dream, that nightmare have been an-NO! That's ridiculous it's nothing more than a simple coincidence. Nonetheless I should be moving not sitting here wasting my time.

The girl speaks firmly rising to her feet and after a quick change of clothing, a hair do and her sword has been firmly acquainted with her hip she makes her way out the front door, waves the little pigeon goodbye as if flies off and makes her journey towards the city of contracts and geo though is quickly interrupted as she hears her name called. Turning around she finds Thomas there and-

Keqing- AHHHH!!!

She scream terrified over the sight of the male after witnessing her nightmare from last night. Running towards the girl he then stops and gives her an equal parts perplexed and apologetic look over her scream.

Thomas- You okay? Sorry didn't mean to scare you so bad.

Keqing- *ahem* Yes I'm fine, thank you for asking. Now what is it your require I have a very important mission to carry out so I must be on my way pronto.

Thomas- Mission?

Keqing- Yes, Lady Ningguang has just sent a letter informing me over Liyue being attacked and-*gasp*

She starts but is cut off as the male grips her by the shoulders pulling the girl towards him and leaving her with a blush as she stares at his very close face now.

Keqing- T-T-Thomas?

Thomas- Let's move.

Keqing- Let's?

Thomas- Yeah, when there's a city in danger you can bet I'll be there to protect it with everything I've got and besides the trip to Liyue is pretty long you could use some company no?

Keqing- V-very well, let's be on our way now.

The girl speaks waking off and gesturing for the male to follow. Whilst walking through town the girl then to him and inquires.

Keqing- So what were you gonna ask me?

Thomas- Oh I was-

Jason- THOMAS WHERE ARE YOU GOING!?!

Thomas- GAH!!!

The male screams out in pain as he's suddenly tackled to the floor by a hyperactive white haired male. Eyes going wide at this the girl watches as the two male wrestle around for a bit before the speedster manages to pin the male on the ground.

Thomas- Ahhhhhh get off of me!!!

Jason- Where are you going? You said we'd hang out today and then you just bailed on me!

Thomas- I'm gonna help Keqing here, we'll rain check for another day! Gah! Stop pulling on my arm!

Jason- Keqing?

The male questions completely ignoring the scientists cries of pain before glancing around and finally locating the yuheng currently stood off to the side glaring at the male and let me tell you if looks could kill he'd be dead a thousand times over. Oblivious to her glare the male then releases the scientist from the floor and walks on over to the neko.

Thomas- Finally! Ow......

Jason- Oh hey I remember you! Do you remember me?

Keqing- *mumble* Unfortunately.

Jason- Huh?

Keqing- Yes I remember you, now are you gonna stand aside so we can go or what?

Jason- Woah hey calm down I'm just asking here. Where are you going?

Thomas- To Liyue, we gotta save the town and citizens-Wah!

The male answers before crying out as the speedster rushes over and grips the male by the shoulder shaking him as super human levels leaving him with a serious headache and case of vertigo.

Jason- Why didn't anyone tell me!?! Also......Liyue?

Thomas- Yes Liyue the city of contracts and Geo it's in danger and we're gonna go help.

Jason- Well count me in-

Keqing- NO!!!

The girl shouts angrily frightening both males there as she steps forward and tears the speedster from the scientist.

Thomas- Keqing?

Keqing- Sorry what I meant to say was, we don't require your assistance thank you for the offer but we have this handled.

Jason- You sure?

Keqing- Positive.

Thomas- Actually I think he should come along. He'd be very useful fighting off the enemies after all three people are stronger then two and he can help keep company or watch at night.

Keqing- But-

Jason- Then it's settled *claps* This way we can hang out like we were supposed to AND save Weway!

Keqing- Liyue.

Jason- Whatever. Alright let's move it people.

Thomas- Onward!

Jason- and away!

Thomas/Jason- ADVENTURE!!!

The two males call out dramatically jabbing there fingers forward their other hand placed on their hips before marching forward their arms swinging and they laugh away.

Keqing- Oh archon's no......

The girl grumbles as she already has a bad feeling over this before following the two males down a windy path towards their destination. Walking for several miles the girl begins to feel her anger and annoynce rising as she watches the two males walking on ahead laughing away leaving her a third wheel.

Thomas- After that I lifted the things foot off of me and told them to fire like crazy then shortly after the giant exploded and we tasted victory.

Jason- Cool so what was in the chest?

Thomas- Nothing.

Jason-...................Oh I um......I'm sorry.

Thomas- Yeah the girls were pretty pissed off, they destroyed the entire ruins.

Jason- They ruined the ruins? Sounds a bit over kill don't you think?

Thomas- Yeah that's what I said but-

The two continue speaking as the girl starts to drown their voice out and focus on the journey towards the city. Walking for about an hour more they then encounter their first obstacle: A large camp of hilichurls along with three axe metachurl's. Going to step forward and vanquish them the girl feels herself being grabbed and turns to find the speedsters hand on her shoulder. She immediately flings his hand away with a glare.

Keqing- Get off me!

Jason- Sorry just thought you should slow on down a bit.

Thomas- You're telling other's to be slow? What is this a solar eclipse?

Jason- Shut up. Anyways I think we should formulate a plan here.

Thomas- You're the leader, what should we do?

Keqing- I'm sorry but leader? When was that established?

Jason- Oh right, you see back in our world my friends and I are all part of  team and I'm their leader. He's not actually part of our team but he does help out occasionally. Anyways here's the plan: Those big guys with the axes should be our main priority, as their axes are made of metal they should conduct electricity so Thomas? I want you wrangle the three of them up in a circular formation so I can blast my lightning through them all and Neko-

Keqing- What'd you call me!?!

Jason- You keep the other's off our tails and take out the small guys. So you all clear on the plan?

Thomas- Sure thing oh captain!

Keqing- Yes yes let's get moving already.

Jason- That's what I like to hear, Break!

The male calls as the three of them all rush the camp site. Drawing her blade the girl rushes in before quickly stepping back to avoid a swing from a club. Dodging that she retaliates by stabbing the creature through the chest then dodges an incoming arrow from a nearby archer retaliating to this she shoots a small bolt of lightning at the creature which it quickly ducks under and then proceeds to taunt the girl unaware that the bolt is still lingering behind it. Glaring at this she then snaps her fingers causing the bolt to explode and teleport her up towards the now dead creature where she begins firing off more bolts rapidly teleporting around the grounds slicing and blowing up hilichurls along the way before-

Thomas- JASON DO IT!!!

She hears the male call from aside. Turning to the sounds of the male she watches as the speedster suddenly rushes forward, leaps into the air and strikes the mosh pit of metachurl and axes with a large bolt of lightning not only killing the three but also creating a machine of death as the lightning begins firing off from the axe pillar blasting smaller bolts of lightning throughout the camp site and killing the remaining hilichurls. Then once the last creature falls the two males laugh and fist bump one another.

Thomas/Jason- Boom!

They call with a laugh before the speedster turns to the girl with a compliment and kind smile.

Jason- Nice work on those Hilichurls back there, you really had them going we never got attacked by them even once.

Keqing- Thank you, now let us be on our way. 

The girl calls forging ahead while the two males rummage through a large chest in the center of the camp.

Jason- Oh sweet a golden goblet! How much do you think this is worth?

Before the three are seen walking throughout the lands some more fighting off a couple of baddies along the way nothing major just some treasure hoarders and slimes all of which are dealt with in a hasty manner although the speedster does seem a little cautious around any pyro slimes they encounter.

Jason- N-No reason.

He answers when questioned over his reluctance to get near one. Shrugging at this they continue ahead after crushing the last slime. A few moments later we find the bro-namic duo tailing behind the girl as she walks on ahead them. Bumping his friends shoulder the male speaks.

Jason- So what's deal with you and the purple neko?

Thomas- Keqing? What do you mean?

Jason- Well you two seem to know each other what with the whole ditching me to hang out with her deal and I saw you guy's on a date last night so what's up? Is she your girlfriend or something?

Thomas- First of all that wasn't a date and secondly no she's not my girlfriend. She's just a girl that happens to be my friend.

Jason- Okay but anything spicy happen between you two?

Thomas- WHAT!?!

Jason- Come on don't try and play it off it's obvious there's something there, like something happened between you two so come on spill.

The male asks intrigued over his friends stuttering behavior. Glancing ahead to watch as the girl continues walking seemingly unaware of their conversations he then sighs and admits.

Thomas- *Sigh* Alright fine, we have kissed. Like on the lips.

Jason- HA! Nice one dude! Look at you getting kisses left and right and having TWO awesome girlfriends! I thought I was the lady killer.

Thomas- No it's not like that. We just got caught in the heat of the moment. 

Jason- Heat can be responsible for a lot of loving relationships. You just need to control yourself  and don't say or do anything stupid to turn her away from you.

Thomas- I'm sorry but why are we having this conversation again?

Keqing- Hey if you two are done socializing we have more bogies coming in hot!

The girl calls cutting the males off as she points ahead to where two stone-hide lawachurls are currently wrestling around. Stepping forward to attack she's once again pulled back this time by the scientist as he grins towards his friend.

Thomas- You thinking what I'm thinking?

Jason- I think so.

Keqing- What?

Thomas- Oh nothing~ Just stand back and maybe grab onto something heavy.

The male instructs as he and the speedster saunter up towards the creatures the girl now standing behind a large boulder as she peaks out cautiously wondering what they're planning. Wrestling around for a bit more the two creatures then notices the sounds of footsteps approaching and turn to find the two male's walking towards them. Grinning at their approaching dinner the two rise, pound their chests a bit before charging forward their mouths open wide. Watching this the two friends grin, turn to one another before pulling their fists back and.

Jason- Lightning!

Thomas- Power!

Both- STRIKE!!!

*BOOM!!!*

The male's calls charging their fists up with their respective power before slamming their fists together creating a massive electrical hyper blue explosion that shakes the land around them, obliterating not only the lawachurls but also several nearby mountains, up rooting countless of trees, sending dirt and rocks flying and leaving the nearby Yuheng clinging desperately to her boulder as the force from the explosion tries blowing her away. Then finally once all the chaos has cleared away and the girl has regained her sense of sight and hearing she peeks out from behind the boulder before gasping in shock over what she see's: The males standing alone inside a massive crater that has to be at least five hundred yards on all sides, the lawachurls nowhere to be seen likely vaporized into nothingness as a result of the explosion. 

Keqing- W-what was that?

The girl asks in total disbelief over the incredible display of power she just witnessed before watching as the males turn to her hands on their hips and confident grins taking up their faces.

Thomas- Told you to hold onto something heavy.

Jason- That's the power of the bro-namic duo!

Thomas- That's right!

Both- Boom!

The two males call fist bumping once again before walking off with a merry laughter leaving the girl still in shock over what she just saw.

Keqing- 'Such power, it's incredible'

She thinks in total awe before quickly following after the two. Walking for several miles more the group then glance up at the setting sun and decide to call it a night then just a few short seconds later they're seen all sitting around a small camp site set up by the speedster.

Keqing- 'He may be insufferable but I'll admit he does have his uses.'

She thinks as she watches the males trying to light a campfire but failing desperately with every attempt before Thomas is like-

Thomas- Fuck it!

And slams the crappy twigs down before rising, summoning his staff, unleashing a large torrent of flames to light the camp fire and doing a happy little jig over his accomplishment. Smiling softly at the male's attitude the girl then watches as he pulls out several items from his arm to make dinner before her happy mood takes a complete 180 as the speedster plops himself down beside her.

Jason- Hey how's it hanging?

Keqing- What's hanging?

Jason- How are you?

Keqing- Fine.

The girl answers simply not asking back before facing the raging flames watching as the scientist plops a few sausage links onto the grill but once again the speedster comes in to pull her back.

Jason- So I noticed that you have electrical powers-

Keqing- 'Gee brilliant powers of observation there'

Jason- And I wanted to ask if you'd shoot me with a lightning bolt?

Keqing- WHAT!?!

The girl asks alarmed over the males questions as she turns around sharply smacking the male in question with her hair as she does so.

Keqing- Why on earth would you want that?

Jason- I don't know I'm feeling a little and could really use a pick me up.

Keqing- What?

Thomas- Just do it he'll be fine.

The male speaks from the side as he removes the sausages from the grill and promptly replaces them with a single potato. Hearing his words the girl still feels a little unsure about this as she watches the speedster stand and bring his arms out to his sides.

Jason- Go on, hit me.

Thomas- Hit him.

Keqing- Um.........okay?

She speaks slowly before rising and pointing her index and middle fingers at the male. Shutting her eyes the girl then fires off a bolt with a small yelp preparing for the worst but it never comes what does come however is the speedster groaning in satisfaction.

Jason- Ahhhhhhhhhhhh........that's feels so good......

Keqing- What?

Jason- Your lightning feels incredible!

Keqing- I have no idea what's happening.

Thomas- It's best not to question it and just let the guy be happy. Anyways foods done.

The male answers setting a plate of food in front of the girl. Moments later the group are now belly full and ready to tuck in for the night. Finding a soft spot on the floor the girl then glances back to see the scientist plop himself down several feet away, the speedster fast asleep. Seeing this the girl decides to make her move.

Keqing- Hey um......Thomas?

Thomas- Yeah?

Keqing- You know......you can.......scoot closer if you want.

Thomas- Huh?

The male inquires in total shock over the gils words. Sitting up he stares in bewilderment as the girl refuses to make eye contact with the male.

Keqing- It'll probably be cold tonight and I don't want you getting sick so........

Thomas- Um......t-thanks for the offer but I'm fine, really.

Keqing- Oh..........okay....

The girl speaks sounding suspiciously disappointed in the male's answer before turning in her sleep wishing the male a goodnight and falling asleep where thankfully her nightmares stay far away this time. Rising early the next morning the three continue on their journey towards the city of contracts. Though as they near the city the yuheng's fears start to increase in volume as she worries about the safety of the city her mind constantly flashing back to her nightmare and how everything was destroyed.

Keqing- 'It's fine it was just a nightmare nothing to get yourself worried about'

She thinks trying to reassure herself in the matter that Liyue is fine and still standings though only half believes her own words. Sighing out loud at this the girl is then torn from her thoughts as the scientist speaks up.

Thomas- You worried about Liyue?

He asks concerned over the girl's clearly frightened state as if able to read her mind.

Keqing- Yeah but can you blame me? It's my home and the place I grew up in. If something were to happen-

Thomas- Hey it's alright, don't worry about a thing thunder cat. I'm sure Liyue is perfectly fine and if not then it's still fine. It's only a couple treasure hoarders with some fancy weapons and shiny trinkets we can handle them no problem.

Keqing- I know.

Thomas- And besides Jason and I are pros at saving the world. Back home there's always at least one city being attacked by all sorts of threats: Android armies, giant monster, super villains and all kinds of other threats of unimaginable horror but point is Jason the gang and I get called to save these cities whenever they're attacked and we always mange to save the cities we're tasked to every time..........................except Tokyo.

The male speaks his voice getting low and sorrowful at the end as he ducks his head down his eyes filled with grief before quickly being joined by his companion.

Jason- All those poor innocent souls.

Thomas- God bless them.

They speaks in mourning leaving the girl unsure of what to do or say before watching as the males raise their heads back up and continue walking ahead. Walking a few more miles the scientist then finally has enough of this crap and turns to his friend.

Thomas- Okay that's it! Jason?

Jason- Yeah?

Thomas- Do it.

Jason- On it.

Keqing- Do wh-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

The girl starts confused over what the two are talking about but is unable to finish her question before she suddenly feels herself being torn ahead at blinding speeds the only things she see's being a large blur of colors mostly purple all around her. Then just as suddenly as it started the girl feels herself dropping to the floor panting harshly her whole body shaking like crazy and sweat pouring down her face. 

Jason- And we're here.

Keqing- What?

The girl questions the males words before glancing up and staring in shock because just before her lies the great archway leading towards the bridge towards Liyue. Seeing this the girl immediately bolts to her feet and rushes ahead leaving the two males behind as she so desperately has to see what's going on. Running and sprinting the girl feels her heart pounding out of her chest, her breath hitching like mad and mind going crazy as she continues recalling her nightmare trying in vain to contain her anxiety. Rushing through the archway she quickly makes it to the city plaza where she feels her heart drop to her stomach over what she see's: Liyue in shambles. Not nearly as bad as in her nightmare but still with it's torn up streets, broken building and panicked/melancholic citizens all wandering around trying to fix up their city. Seeing all this the girl drops to her knees in anguish as her mind races with negative emotions.

Keqing- 'No, No t-this can't be happening.......it's not real, it cant be real this has to be a nightmare, I'm still dreaming!'

The girl thinks as she watches several citizens all lift a large sign off the ground trying to hoist back onto it's original spot and off another citizen who was crushed by the debris. Continuing to sit there the girl feels her whole world crumble around her before she's quickly joined by the two males though hardly notices it as she continues panicking.

Thomas- *Gasp*

Jason- No! What happened?

The males cry out in sorrow over the sight of the miserable town. Rushing ahead the speedster runs around trying his best to save the broken streets and repair any building he can but finds very little to no materials to do so. The scientist on the other hand has different plans as he crouches down beside the still in thought Yuheng.

Thomas- Keqing-

Keqing- How could this happen? The milileth are highly trained warriors and Liyue's defenses are superb for any and all invasions. How could the enemies cause this much damage to the city? 

Thomas- I-I don't know......

The male answers beating himself up mentally as he desperately wanted to give her a straight answer but is unable to find the proper words to say before she bolts up and storms towards the nearest milileth gripping him by the shoulders demanding to know what happened.

Milileth- It should've been in the letter, the treasure hoarders-

Keqing- I know but I want to know HOW they managed all this? Why didn't you defend the city?

Milieth- We did but they completely overwhelmed us! They had these guns that could shoot lasers and bomb capable on blowing up entire streets with a single toss there was nothing we could do!

Keqing- DAMNIT!!!

The girl shouts shoving the man away before gripping her tightly in pain as flashes from her nightmare begin berating her over the destruction of Liyue.

Keqing- 'Damnit damnit damnit! How could I have been so stupid!?! If I hadn't left this place then surely I could've been here to try and protect everyone! That nightmare really was a vision and I brushed it aside like it was nothing! Ugh I can't believe this!'

The girl thinks angry at herself as she continues beating herself up over what happened with several more accusations and profound language tossed at ones self. Continuing on like this for a while longer the girl the feels a secondary presence and glances up to find Thomas a hand on her shoulder as he gives her a reassuring look.

Thomas- Hey it's alright, we'll get though this. It's just a couple of broken buildings we'll rebuild and then we can help find those treasure hoarders and make them pay.

Keqing- Right.

The girl agrees to his plan with a nod before the speedster suddenly rushes back towards them his face and hands covered in grime and sweat.

Jason- I did what I could but there's hardly any building materials left around town. The hoarders really picked this place clean.

Keqing- That's fine, come let us find Lady Ningguang so she can give us some further info on the situation.

She speaks leading the two males through town where they find several more depressing sights in the form of depressed citizens, broken buildings, valuables stolen and even a few bodies lying around dead. Carefully stepping over a large crater the three glance ahead to find the main woman herself currently shouting orders to the milieth around her.

Ningguang- Left side you find those hoarders and make them pay! Middle you help rebuild the city! Right you evacuate the citizens somewhere safe! Everyone understand!

Milileth- Yes Lady Ningguang!

 Ningguang- Good now move it!

The woman shouts as the soldiers all rush off to see their duties to completion. Once gone the woman turns around and spots the three rushing towards her.

Keqing- Lady Ningguang, what happened?

Ningguang- Keqing glad to see you've arrived and you've brought back up good we'll need them. Come walk with me while I brief you all on the detail.

The lady instructs turning and walking off gesturing for the three to follow. Walking through the streets the woman speaks fast as to get back to work sooner.

Ningguang- It all happened about a week ago. This small band of treasure hoarder showed up one day and demanded that we hand over our valuables or else they'd pillage our town. We of course didn't take kindly to their threats and retaliated by sending the milileth to dispose of them which they did in a hasty manner kicking away the treasure hoarders and tossing them into the harbor to be swept away. After that life continued on as per usual but only a day later those same men showed up this time with bigger weapons demanding our valuables and once again the milieth showed them what the bottom of the harbor looks like. This same process continued for the next day as well with bigger weapons and more reinforcements and it just continued on until as of three days ago it all changed. The men came back this time seemingly unarmed, they demanded our valuables and at this point the milieth were starting to get fed up so they didn't even need to wait for my order to attack......but unfortunately it wasn't the same result. As my men all charged forward the treasure hoarders reached behind them and each drew some sort of energy cannon or something. They obliterated the milileth before moving on to the city ransacking the entire place and killing every soldier in sight. My men tried to fight back but were hopelessly outmatched by their superior weaponry and here we are now. In a broken city, poor city with several dead milieth and a constant threat from the same treasure hoarders coming back everyday for more.

Jason- Terrible. But don't worry ma'am we're gonna find those men responsible for all this and kick their asses sideways as recompense for all they did.

Ningguang- I'm sorry but I don't believe we've met.

Jason- Oh right, I'm Jason a friend of Thomas here.

Ningguang- Ningguang nice to meet you.

Jason- Like wise.

The two greet themselves shaking hands with a friendly smile. Panning over to Keqing we find her glaring angrily into the horizon not only silently swearing vengeance on the men who did this but also berating herself even more.

Keqing- 'How could I let this happen? If I had been here then I could've maybe stopped their threat or at the very least been here to try and save as many milieth as I could. I need to focus!'

The girl thinks firmly before turning to the woman and speaking one simple word.

Keqing- Where?

Ningguang- Huh?

Keqing- The men responsible for this, where are they?

Ningguang- I wish I could tell you but I'm afraid I don't know. I've dispatched countless of men since their very first attack to try and locate their whereabout but they've each come back either empty handed or not come back at all. But that's of no concern to you.

Keqing- What?

Ningguang- It's of no concern because you are to not go out and look for those men, that goes for all of you!

She speaks firmly turning around and facing the two males who were currently preparing to go out and look for the hoarders. Immediately her orders leave the three of them baffled and outraged. Thomas snapping a sword he summoned, Jason striking lightning nearby and Keqing yelling fiercely.

Keqing- WHAT!?!

Ningguang- Calm down-

Keqing- DON'T TELL ME TO BE CALM!!! WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO GO AND LOOK FOR THEM!!!

Ningguang- Do not take that tone with me!

Keqing- I will speak to you any way I please.....

The girl growls getting in the woman's face as the two get into a glaring match both trying to intimidate the other with their eyes alone. Sensing danger the males quickly separate the two and try to play peace maker but are promptly shoved away by the two ladies.

Ningguang- I'm not asking you to stay here, I'm ORDERING you.

Keqing- Why!?!

Ningguang- Because although I understand your anger at the men responsible we need all the hands we can get here in the city. Those men will be back tomorrow morning and we need to prepare for their next attack because when they show up tomorrow to find there's nothing here they wont be happy and will destroy everything!

Keqing- But-

Ningguang- Not but's you are to stay here and that's final.

The woman speaks firmly her voice positively oozing with firmness and a tone as if saying "Try me bitch!" Before walking off leaving the Yuheng alone.

Keqing- 'Damnit Ningguang you stupid bitch!!!'

The girl thinks angrily cursing the woman out watching as she walks off without another word. Feeling her blood boil the girl turns to disobey the woman's words and go out and look for the hoarders anyways but is immediately held back by the scientist as he grip her shoulder.

Keqing- What are you doing? Let go of me!

Thomas- Where are you going?

Keqing- To look for the bastards who did this what else!?!

She shouts with more anger and ferocity then she intended watching as the male flinches from the tone of her voice.

Thomas- But Ningguang said-

Keqing- What Ningguang said was completely idiotic and a total waste of time. We should be out there looking for the men who did this! Don't you agree with me?

Thomas- Of course I do-

Keqing- Then great! Come on let's get moving already.

Thomas- But we shouldn't just leave these people defenseless.

Keqing- What?

Thomas- You heard what Ningguang said, In twenty four hours time those men are gonna come back and when they find nothing here they're gonna completely destroy the entire town leaving nothing behind. The milileth cant stop them but WE can, we can help save these people and their town, we can set up defenses and barricade the city preparing for their next attack but we're gonna need all the help we can get, including you.

The male speaks firmly pressing the girl trying to convince her that this is the right choice. Hearing his words the girl begins battling her inner voice on what she should do and after the count of ten she makes her decision.

Keqing- Fine, where do we start?

She speaks leaving the male with a content happy smile over her answer. Then hearing her question the male claps his hands together and begins scanning around the area trying to see what he can come up with in terms of defenses in such little time.

Thomas- 'Let's see, I could set up artillery cannons around the perimeter but with such little time and resources here I'd only manage a few before they show up so that's a no go, Catapults might work but trudging the large boulders would take too long, Automatic crossbow towers fall in the same category as the cannons so that leaves........' *Snaps* Ballista! 

The male speaks coming up with the perfect solution before turning to his speedy friend and gripping him by the shoulders handing him an axe and pick.

Thomas- Go out and get me as much wood and metals as possible!

Jason- Got it!

They commune quickly before the speedster rushes off leaving the male to face the wandering milileth.

Thomas- You guy's know how to handle weaponry and tools?

Milileth 1- Kind of.

Milieth 2- I've dabbled before.

Milieth 3- About as much as the next guy.

Milieth- That's me, I'm pretty good.

Thomas- Good, alright people we have exactly 23 hours and 48 minutes to set this place up and prepare for the next attack, let's move it!

The male shouts urging everyone to work hard and fast. After that the next several hours are filled with the sounds and sights of hard work and sweat: Building and setting up ballista, chopping down trees to fashion into ballista bolts, preparing armor and weapons for the soldiers, escorting the civilians to safety, boarding up houses and securing valuables to the floor, setting up traps around the mountains like mines and spike traps, building walls and large impale a man sized spikes as barricades around the city entrances until finally after eighteen hard fought and sweat filled hours later the city folk all step back to admire their work as the city is looking like a war machine built to survive any attack. 

Thomas- Ballista's loaded and ready?

Milieth- Yes sir!

Thomas- Traps set up around the mountains?

Milieth- Just buried the last mine sir!

Thomas- Barricades fortified and secured?

Milieth- Nothings getting past there sir!

Thomas- Alright! Good work people give yourselves a pat on the back and get a good nights rest because you're gonna need it.

The male calls waving goodbye to all the milieth soldiers as they head in for the night. Watching them go the male glances back at all their hard work and smiles over how much they got done in such little time.

Thomas- Brilliant, simply brilliant. It's true what they say when man kind all work together and unite our individual strengths as one there's nothing we can't accomplish. *Content Sigh* Keqing would love this.

The male speaks in awe over the sight of the fortified town before-

Thomas- Wait, Where is Keqing? She disappeared about three hours ago and never came back. Hope nothing happened to her.

The male whispers concerned over the girl's safety before deciding to go and look for her. First he tried asking Ningguang but is immediately disappointed when he finds he fast asleep, then he tries searching around the docks but doesn't find her there, he tries searching around the houses and beneath the town square but still can't find her anywhere. Then just as he's ready to give up he hears a familiar voice call out.

Keqing- DAMNIT!!!

Thomas- Keqing?

Keqing- GOD FUCKING DAMNIT!!!

Thomas- Yeah that's Keqing alright!

Hearing the anger in her voice it alarms the male as he quickly begins following the sounds of cursing and grunts of anger but eventually finding her at the training range currently mutilating every dummy in sight her whole body shaking like crazy looking as if she's just had a gallon of sweat poured on her. Immediately the sight leaves the male worried for her as he ducks behind a nearby bush to spy on her. Peaking out from the shrubby he watches as the girl sets up five more dummies before pulling out a pocket watch, clicking the button and then proceeding to vanquish the dummies in rapid succession each with quick and precise slashes from her blade. The attacks leaving the male speechless  over her skill but leaving the girl feeling the complete opposite as she scream in anger glancing down at her watch.

Keqing- Damnit! That's still two seconds too slow. Go again.

And so she does. Setting more training dummies she once again tears these apart even faster this time but once again get's the reaction from her pocket watch.

Keqing- 1.4? Ae you kidding me!?! Go again-

Thomas- Well done little kitten.

Keqing- Huh?

The girl questions the sudden voice and turns to find the male slowly sauntering up towards her applauding her performance. Seeing this the girl decides to waste no more time as she sets up some more dummies thought still finding time to speak as she does so.

Keqing- What are you doing up so late? You should be resting for the fight tomorrow.

Thomas- And what of you? What are you doing here so late? Don't you think those dummies have taken enough abuse?

Keqing- Not yet, I need to get stronger once I do I'll call it a night. Yah!

She speaks whilst slashing her blade in a wide arc trying to destroy all the dummies at once but growls furiously as one survives standing there without a scratch even as if mocking her. 

Thomas- You need rest.

Keqing- I NEED to get stronger! Go again.

She implores completely ignoring the worry in the males voice as she goes to set up some more dummies though is held back as the male grips her by the forearm restraining her from setting more up.

Keqing- What are you doing? Let go of me!

Thomas- Not until you promise to call it a night!

Keqing- I told you I'll call it once I'm stronger! Now let go of me!

The girl shout trying to pry the males hand off of her though finds she unable to then finds herself in a tighter situation as the male spins them around slamming her against a nearby wall and pinning both arms above her head.

Keqing- AHHHHH, GET OFF!!!

Thomas- Why are you so persistent on getting that two seconds?

Keqing- Gah! Because two seconds could mean life or death in battle gah!

Thomas- Alright I understand that but you need to calm down! Ever since Ningguang gave her orders you've been extremely temperamental and snapping at everyone. You snapped at Ningguang, at the milieth when they slowed down for a second even at me when I simply asked you to hand me a screwdriver!

Keqing- That doesn't matter, but what does matter is Liyue! I need to get stronger so I can protect this city! I wont fail them again!

Thomas- Again? What are you talking about?

Keqing- It's my fault the cities like this! It's my fault for leaving them without a proper Yuheng! That's why everyone's blaming me and why everyone is so angry at me!

Thomas- What? Nobody's blaming you for anything Keqing! You're just making this stuff up!

Keqing- I don't care, NOW GET OFF!!!

She shouts fiercely shoving the male away and rushing towards the training center though finds only the stone floor as she falls face first into it as the male grips her by the leg tripping her.

Thomas- Calm down!

Keqing- I AM CALM!!!

She exclaims her voice anything but calm kicking him away and gripping her sword ready to get back into things but once again is held back by the male as he grips her shoulder forcing her to swing around and point her blade at him threateningly.

Keqing- Don't make me do this Thomas.

Thomas-............

Keqing- I like you so I'll give you only one more chance to walk away and leave me alone.

She speaks slowly her voice in a low growl as her grip tightens around her blade. The male's answer? Him sticking his arms to he side beckoning for to attack. Eyes going wide at this she hesitates for only second before charging forward with a growl trying to stop him. Swinging a the male she finds only air as he quickly steps back dodging her attack and countering with a light blow to her face.

Thomas- Too fierce slow it down!

Keqing- Shut up!

She shouts charging forward and stabbing at him only for the male to grab her blade and push it aside head butting the girl back before swiping her legs knocking her to the floor.

Thomas- Predictable!

Keqing- I'll show you!

She growls trying to grip him by the legs and pull him down only for the male to dance his way out of her grip and kick her away. Rushing over he quickly forces the girl up before kneeing her in the gut and head-butting her once more. Recovering from this the girl bellows an angry roar before going ballistic swinging at the male like crazy with very little grace or even skill as she's blinded by her anger. Anger that only grows more and more as the male effortlessly dodges every one of her attacks whilst continuing to speak.

Thomas- You're letting your anger drive you and you're becoming sloppy.

Keqing- Shut up!

Thomas- Anger can be a strong tool in battle but it can also be a hindrance for you it's the latter. You need to calm down and listen.

Keqing- SHUT UP!!!

Thomas- Staying angry at yourself and everyone else isn't helping anything! It's only making you weaker and slower! You need to slow down and focus!

Keqing- I SAID SHUT UP!!!

She shouts angrily tossing her blade away and tackling the male to the ground where she proceeds to punch away at him her vision red and blood boiling but not at the male at herself.

Keqing- 'Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger gotta train to make me stronger. Come on I can't lose here! If I lose here then what good am I to Liyue? How can I be expected to protect everyone when I can't even beat one person?' Wah!

She exclaims as the male suddenly flips them around and straddles the girl pinning her arms out to her side as she struggles and squirms under his touch.

Thomas- ENOUGH!!! Stop it with the training and just get some rest! You're never gonna get stronger like this!

Keqing- How do you know huh!?!

Thomas- Because I've already been through all this with someone else! My girlfriend Jean had the same problem as you!

Keqing- 'Girlfriend.......so he's-' I don't care about Jean I'm just trying to get stronger for the attack and then I'll go back to a normal training regime!

Thomas- What? *laughs* You think this will make you stronger!?! You're an idiot if you think that!

Keqing- Screw you!!!

Thomas- If you keep training like this instead of sleeping you'll end up passing out during the battle and then you'll die! This isn't training, this is self abuse!

Keqing- I don't care! I have to protect Liyue, I wont see it fall I can't stand to watch that happen and if that means taking everything I've got til it kills me then so be it! Just as long as Liyue's safe that's all that matter to me!

Thomas- But if YOU die I'LL never recover!!!

The male shouts his voice filled with both anger and fear over the thought of the girl falling in tomorrow's battle. Hearing the tone of his voice and the males words the yuheng immediately stops struggling and glances up at him in shock.

Keqing- What?

Thomas- Stop it please! I'm begging you! Don't go down this same path and other's have gone! You say thar you'll stop but I know that's not true, I've seen first hand what happens to people when they step foot on this same path you're going down, It destroys them!!! And I can't bear to see you go down that. You mean so much to me Keqing!

Keqing- But Liyue-

Thomas- Liyue will be fine. You're an amazing fighter one of the best I've ever seen and you're not alone in this, you have the milileth, Ningguang, Jason and Me all here to back you up and protect this city. So please there's no need to push yourself like this! Just take it easy and if you still want to grow then take it at a normal pace, pace yourself and work just enough to improve not to destroy yourself!

The male pleads with the girl his voice shaking in fear and worry over her actions. Hearing his words the girl mulls it over for a moment remembering everything that's happened and all her times shared: Working with Ningguang and witnessing her power first hand during the Osial fight, fighting side by side with Ganyu taking down entire enemy bases like nothing, Jason's incredible speed and destructive capabilities, the milieth with their vast skills and large numbers and of course Thomas with his incredible skill, versatility but most of all his kind heart, the kind that's always willing to help put a friend in need whenever they need him, the kind to always be there to lend a hand and help you through your struggles. Thinking about all this the girl then sighs and speaks.

Keqing- Okay...............................You win.

She sighs admittedly slowly calming her body and ceasing with her struggles. Watching this the male decides to hold on for just a little longer just to make sure she's serious and once he's certain enough that she is he finally releases the girl and rises offering her a hand up which she gladly takes.

Keqing-..............

Thomas- Keqing?

Keqing-.........Thanks. I wasn't thinking straight and I needed to be brought back down a few pegs so thanks I really needed that.

Thomas- Anytime and honestly I can't that I blame you all that much. After seeing Liyie like this your home and the place you grew up I can see why you'd be so upset over it but it's like I said you don't have to push yourself like this. You're not alone in your fight for Liyue you have friends and comrades everywhere.

Keqing- I know.

Thomas- Great. I'm just so happy that I managed to save you from the over working curse that's plagued far too many of my friends in the past, including myself.

 Keqing- Thank you......

The girl speaks softly  smiling up at the male over his kind words and immediately receiving the friendly gesture back from him leaving the two of them with a light blush. Continuing like this for  moment the two then find themselves lost in the other's eyes as they slowly start to lean in towards the other and then before they know it their lips have touched as they fall into a passionate yet tender kiss. Locking lips for a while longer the male goes to pull back but is interrupted as the grl wraps her arms around his neck pulling him back in hoping that the kiss never ends.

Keqing- 'mm......I love you, I love you so much......'

She thinks whilst continuing to kiss him before in a bold move shoves the male to the ground and straddles his waist gripping him by the collar of his coat and kissing him yet again. This time too the male doesn't pull back but instead runs his hands down her sides letting his hands roam across her body and they begin making out passionately until after about a minute they pull back up for air.

Thomas- Keqing I.......

He starts but is cut off once more as the girl presses a single finger to his lips shutting the male up and speaking.

Keqing- It's time we head in for the night.

Thomas- Right, I will see you tomorrow.

He agrees getting up off the floor and heading towards the small in he and Jason rented earlier but is held back as the neko grips him by the wrist. 

Keqing- Oh no, you're coming with me.

Thomas- Huh?

Keqing- I wanna keep you close ALL night.

She speaks emphasizing heavily on the last two words before pulling the male by the wrist leading him towards her home which was thankfully still in one piece before the two head in for the night determined to get some good night's rest for tomorrow's battle.

Waking up early the next morning the whole town is seem working hard and putting the finishing touches on all the defenses as the hoarders are only moments from arriving news they got from a scout they sent out to look a few hours earlier. The ballista are set, the bolts sharpened, barricades fortified and Thomas is currently seen working hard on something that his two electrical companions can't see.

Jason- What are you making?

Keqing- You've been working on it all morning and while I appreciate a good day's of work we need to prepare the defenses.

Thomas- Yeah yeah keep your pants on the milileth have the defenses handled.

He speaks sternly as he connects a few more wires and makes a few adjustments here and there before finally he turns around and presents his invention to the two.

Thomas- Presto ba-da bing! Electrical gauntlets!

The male speaks proudly presenting the weapons to the two which immediately leave in shock over what they see.

Jason- You asked me to find you some metals and a few of those electric crystal things and you made THAT with them?

Keqing- Incredible.....simply amazing. What so they do?

She ponders feeling excited and anxious as she can't wait to see them in action. Chuckling at this the male stands back and punches the work bench he was just using crumbling the thing and leaving an intense electrical charge over it. 

Jason- Electric punches? That's it?

Thomas- Now hold I'm I'm not done you non believer.

The male speaks sounding a little annoyed over his friends dismissal of the weapons before and no pun intended shocking the two when he strikes his fists together as it creates a massive electrical storm over head sending countless of lightning bolts all over the place.

Jason- I take it back, THOSE ARE AWESOME!!!

Keqing- Indeed they are quite "Awesome"

Thomas- Yeah and an awesome weapon needs an awesome name to go along with it. So how about....................Striking Thunder!

He calls with a large geeky grin as he strokes his fists together once more creating a lightning strike behind him.

Thomas- Yeah.

He calls excitedly though his excitement is cut short as a milieth quickly rushes over in a deep sweat alarming them that the men are on their way and are in shooting range. Wasting no time they quickly rush on over to find the men at the cities entrances now before a man larger then the rest steps forward not too pleased and is soon greeted by an equally angry Ningguang.

Leader- What the hell is this?

Ningguang- It's pay back for all you did to Liyue!

Leader- Pay back? We spared this miserable little town of yours and only ask for a couple valuables ever time we come and you think you have the right to attack us back?

Ningguang- It's called self defense!

Leader- And THIS is your punishment for disobeying me!

The man shouts angrily urging his men forward as they all rush in equipping their rifles and then all hell breaks lose. Glaring at this Ningguang immediately begins sparing their leader firing rocks at him dodging and blocking his laser fire. Back in Liyue we find the milieth all firing away at the men as they charge in unable to break past their barricades leaving them with plenty of valuable golden opportunities.

Millieth- North ballista fire!

The man shouts ordering for the others to fire and immediately the northern side of attackers explode as the bolt makes impact killing several hoarders. Down in the town square we find several more milieth fending off those who couldn't get their hands on a laser rife and instead resorted to going back to the classics with swords and molotov's. Dodging a molotv the scientist rushes into a large grin on his face as he preps his newest weapons before *Bam!* he slams a hoarder in the face instantly taking him out. Weaving between a few sword swipes he once again repeat this process uppercutting the next one and then punching him forward sending him flying into his molotov frenzy friend causing the device to explode on his hands taking out a second. Smirking at this he then continues to run around striking lightning and punching countless of hoarders in the face. To Jason we find him currently battling a large hoarder who wields dual hammers. Running is he kicks the man across the face before slamming both fists over his head striking lightning and sending him tumbling back into a ballista bolt which obliterates his whole body leaving the speedster frightened.

Jason- Jesus!

He exclaims over the brutal death the man just received before shrugging it off and dashing through the streets slicing apart several hoarders and swiping their rifles. Taking out another by stealing his rifle and then bashing him in the face with it he glances up alarmed as he see's Ningguang currently losing her fight against the treasure hoarder leader. Letting out a small yelp he quickly rushes towards her just in time as a laser damn near hits her though luckily he managed to push her away in time

Jason- You okay?

Ningguang- Yeah.

Jason- Good.

He speaks before turning to the lade with a glare and rushing forward. Firing off laser after laser scared over the male's sudden anger the leader then scream in agony as the speedster slashes his chest with his blade before gripping him by the face electrocuting him to death.

Jason- Respect the ladies.

He calls dropping the corpse before running over to check on Ningguang who's currently blushing over his actions and words a blush that grows only stronger as he leans in towards her checking for injuries.

Jason- I think you're good. You good?

Ningguang-...........

Jasom- Hey you okay?

Ningguang- Y-yes......I'm alright.

The woman calls the blush growing stronger and stronger by the second as she watches as a friendly smile appears on his face before he quickly dashes off leaving her alone.

Ningguang- What an interesting man.....

She speaks snapping her fingers and dropping a boulder on a nearby treasure hoarder. Back on the city we find Thomas and Keqing fighting side by side as a whole swarm of hoarder surround them.

Keqing- Give it up your leader is gone!

Hoarder 1- Our leader was a dick!

Hoarder 2- Yeah and I totally banged his wife!

Hoarder 3- If anything his death only makes their better for us. More loot to go around and fewer to split it with!

They call rushing in. Ducking under a swing the girl snaps her fingers creating a small blast of lightning that sends several men flying. Nodding her head to the scientist she gets a nod back as he leaps into the air summoning his fire staff before slamming it into the ground causing a massive plume of flames to shoot up into the air. Grinning at this the girl then actives her elemental burst rushing around slicing apart treasure hoarders and leaving a trial of lightning as she goes before gripping the scientist by the shoulder and dragging him off just as the area explodes as the two elements make contact.

Keqing- Well done on the team work.

Thomas- Thanks.

They compliment before turning back to the battle. Several moments later and after the last treasure hoarder falls the large group of defenders all cheer happily as they protected the city and held back the treasure hoarders though all is not quite done as Thomas storms towards a still living hoarder gripping him by the neck and demanding.

Thomas- Where'd you get these rifles!?!

Treasure Hoarder- Why should I tell you?

Thomas- I have ways of making people talk.

He speaks with venom in every word before equipping his gauntlets and grabbing the man by the *ahem* electrocuting him where it hurts causing all the men nearby to wince painfully gripping their crotches.

Treasure Hoarder- AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! OKAY OKAY I'LL TALK!!!

Thomas- Good. Now tell me where did you get these weapons?

Treasure Hoarder- I-I don't know his name or anything about him really he was really mysterious and he had this mask with these horrible fiery red eyes and-Gah!

Thomas- Did the man have fire powers!?!

Treasure Hoarders- YES YES HE DID!!! He scorched our old leader and then handed off these weapons telling us to have fun! That's all I know I swear!

Thomas- Alright then.

Treasure Hoarder- So are you gonna let me go now?

Thomas- Um no!

He speaks gripping the male by the top of his head before proceeding to crush said head like a grape. Wiping the blood off his hands he walks back towards the rest of the defenders his mind filled with thoughts concerning the figure.

*Time-Skip about 2 hours 48 minutes and 12 seconds*

After a very specific amount of time later we find the aftermath of the battle: Citizens moving back in and thanking their heroes, The city being rebuilt, the treasure hoarder corpses being disposed of and Ningguang giving a speech in the town square.

Ningguang- Once again I would like to thank Thomas and his friends here for helping defend our city from the invasion and I do hope you have a safe trip back to Mondstadt.

She speaks before sauntering up towards the speedster who slowly back away nervously before she leans in and whispers in his ear.

Ningguang- And thank you especially handsome.

She speaks placing a kiss on his cheek before walking off though not before giving him a flirty wink leaving him blushing deeply over this and stuttering on his words.

Jason- I-I-I-I-

Thomas- Alright lady killer let's go

The male calls grabbing his friend by the hem of his shirt and dragging him off towards the exit as they prepare to head out now. A few moments later we then find the three heroes all packed and ready to head out, saying their farewells to the city and walking off. Walking for just a short moment the Yuheng then stops and turns to the scientist to speak.

Keqing- Hey um I just wanted to apologize about the things I said and for attacking you like that yesterday. I wasn't thinking straight and had so much negative thoughts going through my head but you really helped clear them out so thanks.

Thomas- It's cool. I'm willing to take all kinds of abuse from you if it means you'll be safe and at peace with yourself. I'm just so glad that you're okay and feeling better now.

Keqing- Me too.

They commune softly gazing up at one another with a soft smile each before slowly leaning in towards the other their lips puckered though just before they make contact-

Jason- Hey what's going on here guys?

Keqing- 'DAMN YOU!!!' Nothing that concerns you speedster.

Jason- Gee touchy, come on liven up and relax a bit.

Keqing- I am relaxed and how I'm feeling especially doesn't concern you.

Jason- Hey suit yourself I just hope you're ready this time.

He speaks reaching his arm towards the girl to speed them all back to Mondstadt. Seeing this the girl immediately leaps back unsheathing her blade and keeping it pointed at the speedsters chest in an alarmed manner.

Keqing- OH NO! We are NOT doing that again!

Jason- What? Why not?

Keqing- The last time you sped us away was the worst experience of my life and I wish to never go through that again.

Jason- Come on it's only for a quick second.

Keqing- No! We are WALKING back and that's final.

She speaks firmly putting her sword away before walking forward her head held high as she trudges on gesturing for the males to follow.

Jason- Bro?

Thomas- Yeah?

Jason- She's a tough one, keep her close.

He speaks with a smile patting the male on the chest before shaking his head at the retreating form of the girl and following after. Smiling at this the scientist glances back to watch over Liyue one last time before soon joining his friends back towards Mondstadt his mind plagued with thoughts concerning the figure and his current whereabouts.

*MEANWHILE IN AN UNKNOWN LOCATION*

Shifting scenes over to an unknown location of mysterious proportions and cryptic whereabouts we find a lone treasure hoarder rushing through a building before stopping at a large black stone throne where the figure currently sits flipping an emerald coin minding his own business.

MF- 'Such a beautiful object I'm glad I swiped it from those street bandits'

Hoarder- Master! Master I have news!

The man calls bowing down at the throne and waiting for permission to speak. Once he gains so he continues.

Hoarder- It's Liyue sir it-

MF- Ahh perfect I was just hoping to hear some good news. Tell me how big is the crater left behind in that miserable little town?

Hoarder- Um..............

MF- Go on.

Hoarder- It's still standing sir, the laser men failed. That scientist guy and his friends stopped them.

MF-.......................

Hoarder- Sir?

The hoarder speaks feeling a little scared over the figures silence before screaming in agony as a geyser of flames shoots up beneath him scorching the man to his bones as the figure curses angrily.

MF- DAMNIT!!! Why did I entrust those idiots to get the job done!?! SERVANT!!!

The figure calls out angrily before a small treasure hoarder rushes in carrying a large sack on his back.

Servant- Yes master?

MF- Find yourself some poster sheets and I want you to around hanging up signs declaring a bounty on that heterochromic bastards head! I want him hunted down by all the meanest and ruthless bounty hunters this side of the planet!

Servant- Yes sir! Right away sir!

The servant calls rushing off in a hurry and tripping on his own feet face planting in the ground before picking himself back up to find some hunters suited for the job. Watching him go the figure melts the coin from earlier the molten crystal singing his arm.

MF- You son of a bitch, you have friends huh? Well so do I and when my new hunters find you you'll be begging for mercy!

He threatens as flames shoot up all around him scorching the area the scene fading to black with his menacing red eyes being the last thing you see before darkness.
