mei scoffs. "i don't care." she runs a hand through her hair in frustration. "i don't want to talk to him."

"but you just ended it yourself now, but you got mad at him for ending it too.." ningning furrows her brows from the older's sudden action to end it.

mei knows she will regret it but shakes her head. "i'll be fine, if i ignore him there'll be nothing for me to regret."

shuhua sighs before patting mei's head, but the girl ended up shoving the girl's hand away. "don't touch me please." she groans as she didn't want to be reminded of the boy. "i don't know what to do anymore."

the four girls looked at each other in worry. they wouldn't want you to keep forcing mei to talk to him if she really didn't want to but it's clearly causing stress to her, and definitely hao too.

"mei are you sure you want to stay in campus? we can copy up notes for you." yuqi asks softly. "i don't think you're in the right mood to be here."

"it's fine." she says without looking at the concerned girls. "i just need more time to think about it." she then looks down to check the time on her phone, and they all noticed how the lockscreen was still the same: just a silly photobooth of the duo.

mei hums and stands up, speeding away from the group of girls into the bathroom without telling them anything, leaving them worried and a little scared.

mei just needed to clear her mind. it had only been a few hours on campus with one lecture yet the only thing she could even think about was hao.

she hated making everyone worry. she's seen all the messages – although three quarters of them were strangers hating on her for kissing zhanghao and throwing a party on a uni night.

she hears a stall door open, and she recognises a dyed red haired girl walk out, making her take a small peek at the girl and revealing the person she didn't want to talk to.

"still the same old bitch, i see." she chuckles dryly, attempting to pat mei's shoulder. mei instinctively grabs yunji's wrist tightly and glares at her through the mirror.

she sneers at yunji's face. "you're still all talk on campus aren't you?" she scoffs. "stay out of my business, go have hao if you want i wouldn't give a shit." she lets go of her wrist aggressively.

mei seemed quite similar to how she was before she moved schools and yunji didn't know how to react to her sudden harsh behaviour. yunji repeated mei's words in her head: "go have hao if you want i wouldn't give a shit."

yunji hums. "fine, i will." she smirks a little at the thought of it. "i don't mind talking to hao." she chuckles, but she didn't even think mei was listening from the way she was ignoring yunji and still checking herself out.

"k." mei turns to the girl and gives her another look. "don't try talk to me again either. you're weird." she shrugs before slamming the door.

she hated walking around these hallways, the flashbacks of arguing with every entitled bitch on the campus came back to her with every single step.

sorry for the fully socmed chap i needed a break from last chapter's trauma of normal writing 😘
