Genie In A Bottle. Chapter Eleven.

I took the one dollar from the little boy and gave him the large ball, "Okay, you have a chance to throw three of them. If you land in one of the color at least twice, you win a prize.", I told him and he nodded before taking a moment before throwing the ball at the painted color buckets. It landed on a blue one. "Okay, try to threw it to another blue one.", I told him, handing him another ball. He aimed and threw, but it landed on yellow. He frowned and I handed him the one, "It's okay, you get one more. If you either land on a yellow or a blue, you win. So threw the best you can.".

He threw the ball with a grunt and it landed on a another yellow. The kid bounce with excitement and he pointed at the air filled plastic green and blue guitar that had a bell in. I grabbed it and handed it to him.

After a couple of more people, I finally got my break. I walked around as I drank my soda.

So my surprise, everything is going pretty well with Levi and I. I mean, I thought something would be different with us, but we behaving like how we use to. I'm actually glad nothing changed but the fact that we make out more now. My dad starting to like Levi a little more and Angelo and him are becoming friend. I frowned when I thought of Angelo, he'll be leaving Monday to go back to Greece. As much as I want him to stay here, I knew he had to go back cause even though his father isn't his fan, his mother still loves him to death.

I came towards the booth Jesse and Kaden were at. I didn't see anyone around it and I can guess it's because they were kissing. I shook my head and went up to it. I grabbed a bean bag that was on the table and threw it at them.

Jesse threw herself back and her cheeks burned red, "Andria!".

"Don't you have a job to do?", I asked them. "How much did you both make?".

Jesse looked like she did something she got caught for and Kaden pursed his lips. "Thirteen dollars.". she said.

I tsked, "I knew putting you two together was a bad idea. I made almost thirty. Remember, we need this money.".

"I know,Andria!", Jesse said. "But do you know throwing bean bag is the oldest game to play and it's isn't the easiest game either. No one was coming and we got bored.".

I knew she was right, throwing bean bag into a certain shape three times isn't the easiest. I tired before when I was younger and I spent ten dollars of my dad money just trying to went that blown up skull head until I got bad and jumped over the booth and grabbed and ran for my life.

"Your right.", I said, breathing out. "We need something that will get your booth attention.".

We all went into thinking before of course idea Jesse came up with something. "Got one!", she cheered and of course it was going to be her. Always trying to help or fix something. She turned to Kaden, "Take off your shirt.".

Her looked at her in shock and surprised, "Excuse me?".

"There is many teen and young ladies here. Even though I hate the idea of some other girl drooling over you, we need the money and your eye candy.", she said.

"Well that isn't fair!", he cried out. "I'm certainly not telling you to take off yours because then I'll have to be smashing some guy face in for just taking a glance at you!".

"Come on, Kaden. We need the money so you have the wood for when we come back to Hayden.", she said.

"I am not taking off my shirt!", he said.

She glared at him, "Do it or else.".

"Or else what? Jesse, you can't make threats, believe me babe. And when you do, their kind of weak.", he said.

She glared at him hard, "Fine!", she said, grabbing the end of her shirt and pulled it up practically all the way to the bottom of her bra and tied.

When the first guy looked at her, Kaden flipped and he grabbed her shirt and pulled it back down. "Fine, I'll do it.", he said in disapproval. He took off his shirt and I couldn't help admit it, but he was defiantly eye candy.

Jesse pointed at him, "Any of those flirt with you, though, I'm going to the one smashing heads in.".

I chuckled, "Good luck guys.", I told them as I went to go find Angelo. I found him at him the dunk tank and he was soak. He didn't look happy. I leaned up against the tank and grinned, "How it going?".

"Damn American and their love of baseball.", he growled and I chuckled.

"Well at least your not like me, I'm sweating right here. You get to cool off.", I said. "And I'm sure Dallas isn't minding either of you in the wet beater.".

"Shut up, Lexi.", he said. "Most of these girl keep looking at him and not to mention hit on me. It's awkward.".

"Hey, when they see a hot guy, their going to go after. And that Greek accent, their going to try their hardest.", I told him. "When's your break?".

"In ten minutes.", he said.

"Well in ten minute, you can have your thirty minute break time with your lover.", I teased him and dodged as he tried to swat me. "Bye, Angelo.", I said as I left to go find Levi at the high striker.

When I found him, he was pressure a kind of built guy, "Come on, man, you can do this. It's not even that high. It's a good fourteen feet in the air, my little cousin Josh could easily do this.".

The guy glared at him before position the mallet over his shoulder and took a deep before throwing it hard down on the lever and the bell went all the way up, but missed the bell by two inches.

"Ahh, that sucks man. One more dollar and you can try again.", Levi said.

"I'll try later when my head doesn't feel like blowing off.", he said before leaving.

"You shouldn't tempt people.", I told him and he chuckled.

"It builds the rage, I'm actually helping.", he said and I rolled my eyes. "So I'm wondering, I have showed so many people what to do and I have ranged that bell maybe I don't know, a couple dozen times, so where's my prize?", he asked, leaning down to kiss me and I put my hand on his chest.

"Not welling my breath smells like vinegar from those French fires I ate earlier.", I said and his face wrinkles.

"I still don't understand how you think putting vinegar on fires is good. It gross and bitter.", he said.

"Oh, like how it's normal for you to dip your fires into your frosties from Wendy's .", I said, making a weird face.

"Lots of people do that.", he said.

"And lots of people put vinegar on fires.", I said.

"Only weird people like you.", he said.

I shrugged, "I guess so.", I said before burping. I covered my mouth and chuckled, "My bad.".

After the festival was over and I was as tan as my Yiayia, we all gather at the library and handed the money over to Luce, she and the other went to go count how much it all was.

After ten minutes, they all came back, "From how much we counted, all in together, we got only three thousand and four hundred and thirty two dollars.".

Everyone breathed out in disapproval.

"Hey, come on, we can come up with the rest.", Luce said. "We still got two more week, we all can figure something out.".

The library do opened and a man in a suit came in. It took me a moment to realized it was Mayor Hender's. We all look at each other in confusion as he walked over to us.

"Hello Lucinda.", he said to Luce. "Stay out to get me for breaking up with you in tenth grade, huh?".

She gaped at him, "You have got to be joking, David. You know how important the woods is to me.".

"Yes.", he said in bored. "You and your love for animals. But it's time for a change.".

"But you just can't tare it down, though. The forest is important to Hayden, we need a place for nature.", she said. "We have enough shopping stores in the world.".

"But with the rent money the town of Hayden will get, we wouldn't have to worry about becoming broke. We need the money.", he said. "Now, I want you and your little group to cut it out. You can't stop me, I'm major of this town. And I'm only taking half, you guy are acting as if I'm doing the most horrible thing in the world.".

"You are though.", a girl said. "No matter what, you taking a part of the forest and we need the forest. It's the only thing we have that makes Hayden what it is. If we didn't have it, Hayden would be a ghost town. People go camping and hiking in there.".

"And people will be still be able to do that.", he said. "And I'm making it safe for everyone. We're going to capture the wolves so people can be more safer.".

"The wolves have never been a problem.", Levi said. "They never attack anyone and they keep to themselves.".

"Their still wild animals and if I remember, a couple of a year ago a teenager got hurt by one of those wolves.", he said and with my eyes, I turned to look at Kaden who looked away in shame.

"That was years ago.", Jesse said. "They haven't done anything ever since.".

"Will I'm just here to warn you all, if you don't have five thousand dollars and the portion in two weeks, half of the forest is mine.", he said, shrugging. "And I wouldn't lose sleep over it.".

When everyone didn't say anything but look worried, I sighed, "We'll have you're your not taking the forest so get ready to forget the idea.".

He chuckled, "Young girls are so naive, thinking they can do anything they want.", he said. He walked back over to the door, "Get ready to lose, guys.", he said before leaving.

I crossed my arms over my chest and glared at the doors, "I really hate that guy.", I muttered under my breath.
