So Wattpad Prom is here and there's this aesthetic competition that I decided to try my luck in so....

The theme is masquerade and I used a champagne color scheme to try and pull off a classy vintage look.

Also, I decided to use a different layout instead of the common two column and 2-4 rows layout to give it a unique touch.

So this is it.

*I'm actually really nervous and doubting everything I did fiddlesticks. *

Like I said earlier, the theme is masquerade and I decided to use a champagne color scheme and give it a kind of classy but ever so slight vintage vibe. These are not just random pictures I put together. Each of these pictures represent my ideal prom experience. Which I will explain below.

The classy theme greatly clashes with my personality, which is way more casual and adventurous. Also, prom in my school is more a rowdy, boring dance were they invite mediocre musicians and the main thing done is rowdy dancing. Dressing up is allowed, but you would be seen as over the top by your friends if you actually dressed up the way you wanted so most stick to normal boring dinner gowns. I, however, dream of an evening that actually looks and feels like someone put effort into planning it.

Two Ghosts by Harry Styles is a song that I think would fit nicely into my ideal prom. Not because of the lyrics {they're kind of depressing haha😅} but because of the instrumentals. It has a very vintage vibe to it and is a perfect slow song. {any song by Harry Styles is perfect though😘} Song above if you want to play it.

The Champagne Glasses are essential because how can you have a champagne color scheme without including some glasses of champagne? Of course, you wouldn't be allowed champagne at any high school prom, every one would be underage. But non alcoholic apple cider would be a good replacement and looks kind of like champagne.

The Dress is a two piece champagne dress that is absolutely stunning and it is something I wish I could wear to my own prom. There was this other gorgeous dress I wanted to use but it looked more white and it didn't really fit the aesthetic but I'll put it here if anyone cares to see it.

The Chandelier in the Ballroom shows of the classy vintage vibe. I think it would be cool to have prom in an actual ballroom.

The Eye Makeup is just a representation of the make up that I think would fit best with this theme and the kind I would like to do; shimmery and sparkly. I wanted to use another picture, that was actually a black girl's eye since I am black and I felt that would be a better representation of me but I just love the shimmer on the one I used so I'll leave the other picture here.

The Mask is more golden than champagne but I think it fits wonderfully. You can't have a masquerade ball without a mask after all.

Finally, Bal Masqué, which is French for Masked Ball. The text to me just kind of pulls everything together and makes the aesthetic.

So yeah. That's basically my prom aesthetic. I hope. The judges read this but it's fine if they don't.
