Cecile: Y-You can't possibly say you're defeated by a cripple!

BREAKING NEWS: WELLSTON'S DEFENSE KING ARLO IS SHOCKINGLY DEFEATED BY A CRIPPLE

Arlo: He is. And in fact it was recorded.

Arlo shows her the video, her eyes widening at the sight of Y/N soundly defeating Arlo even with one arm bleeding.

Arlo: Don't be fooled by the fact he has no ability. You'll regret challenging him.

Cecile: I see....I'll publish the article then.

She was in disbelief, seeing the very person she hated being obliterated by a cripple nevertheless though strangely enough, she smiled at the thought of it.

Cecile: 'Fuck yeah.'

Later

Ventus: You called us?

Y/N: I heard Arlo trusts you both.

Meili: He does.

They were shocked after the news, and came to challenge Y/N yesterday to see if the rumors were true. Their asses got beaten in less than a minute, and they came to respect his strength greatly as he calls them.

Y/N: What's the situation at Wellston? Anything I need to worry about? Any chaos? Issues? Disorderly students?

Ventus: Only amongst the low and mid tiers.

Y/N: *sigh* They all act like children I swear.

Meili: That's......a good depiction actually.

Y/N: The hierarchy is disorderly. People think they can do whatever they want just because someone has a weaker ability than them.

Ventus: And you got jumped 15 times this week.

Y/N: And I sent them all to the infirmary. I'll be changing the hierarchy a tad bit. First, if you want something you have to earn it. If you want to be respected then you have to prove that you're more capable than the other. If you want to lead then you have to prove you're a capable and strong leader. If you want to be higher in the hierarchy people have to back their words up with their actions or know their place. Yes I've heard of Rei's legacy here and how his rules of treating every tier equally failed. But I'm not like that. If you think you're better than what you are then back it up. Don't be stupid though about it. That's my motto.

Meili: And how do you plan to make this change?

Y/N: I got some ideas.

Later

???: *smile* Ah hello there! I'm assuming you're Jichang Kwak right?

Jichang finds a lady standing in the entrance before he was about to go out to handle matters himself along with a fellow officer, her eyes sharp yet she had a warm smile on her face.

Jichang: Yes sir?

???: The Bureau has heard of your work in the police department. For someone with no ability I'm quite impressed that you did all those things. How about you come work for us?

Jichang: Apologies, but I've yet to acquaint myself to this society. It's only been 2 months. However, I'll consider the offer once I'm very familiar with my surroundings. Is that okay with you?

The lady clicked her tongue which Jichang noticed as she begrudgingly nods.

???: It's ok. But just so you know, some matters are better left to the Bureau. Don't overestimate yourself.

Jichang: I know. But I do have an issue to speak to the Bureau about too.

The woman was curious as he pulls out some files.

Jichang: It appears that there is a hidden militia group smuggling weapons from the other side of the world here. Not just one, but multiple groups.

???: That is something to be quite concerned about.

Jichang: We have managed to capture one of them after I knocked him out. We can't get to him as of now since he won't cooperate, but apparently they aren't too fond of the Bureau.

???: Thank you for informing me. May I have these files?

She had a sense of urgency as she was handed the files and goes along her way.

Jichang: *phone* Y/N we have a problem.

Later

Dylan: W-Woah I beat a mid tier-

*BAM*

He squeaks as the girl gets up angrily after being downed, punching the wall besides him though she sighs and pats his shoulder.

???: I was too careless. *frown* But remember it's a fluke! I'll beat you next time!

Y/N: Anyone enjoying combat class?

The students all nodded, happy that they were learning how to fight more efficiently as he spoke.

Y/N: This doesn't mean you can get into fights with people recklessly. Don't be a damn kid, and be a grown up. Know your limits unless you can back it up.

Combat class finishes and everyone rushes out the club room as Isen and Blyke look in awe.

Isen: *impressed* Woah you have to teach me how to fight like you!

Y/N: I'll admit with abilities people have a better perspective of knowing how to fight than those without one. However people really rely on them too much, and they can be conditioned into a pattern where their weaknesses can be severely exploited.

Blyke: So I shouldn't use my ability?

Y/N: No it's more like you're too complacent with your ability that when it's negated, you don't know what the fuck to do. The queen at Agwin can beat you Blyke. But imagine if you have my strength and speed physically. Sure your ability won't work, but your strength is an ace they might not expect. The more weapons the more advantages you have. A body is a weapon along with an ability.

Isen: Ah.......*ponder* Damn imagine if you had my ability. That'd be broken-

Y/N: Alright you two get out. You got your own stuff to do so get going.

*BAM*

Isen/Blyke: OW!

He kicks them out the room before cleaning everything and heading outside of campus.

Y/N: Maya I know you're there. You're not fooling me.

Maya: Didn't think you'd be a student here at Wellston.

Y/N: Didn't think you'd show up in front of me after I fucked your brains out last year.

She had a flustered look on her face as Y/N grins madly.

Y/N: *grin* Gun's advice sure came in handy that time.

Maya: *growl* T-That was just a one time thing ok?!

Y/N: The hell are you doing here anyways? The numbers finally show up after we arrived?

Maya: We've been tracking Mad Dog but he has quite a number of soldiers and people on his side.

Y/N: I've got thousands on my side.

Maya: They're not your typical fighter.

Y/N: I fought and killed soldiers and mercenaries before. This ain't different.

Maya: Just........don't get yourself into trouble.

She had a worried look for a moment on her face as Y/N nods.

Y/N: Gotcha. How's Ijin doing?

Maya: He's doing well. He's attending Rowden at the moment though they're giving him a hard time.

Y/N: He can whoop their asses then!

Maya: Sent 30 to the infirmary in the span of 2 weeks.

Y/N: I sent 75.

Maya: Idiot.

John: Is this your girlfriend?

Y/N does a take back as John and Sera appear out of nowhere with curious looks on their faces.

Y/N: No she's an acquaintance. Or rather an ally of mine.

John: Ah so she's a crew member of sort?

Y/N: Nah she's a fighter with a particular set of skills more suitable for well.........let's say special forces.

Their eyes widen as Maya sighs, glad that Y/N deflected from the truth to cover for her.

Y/N: However you should be careful. There's been an influx of foreign militia coming to areas near here.

John: So we have to be careful.

Y/N: Yes. You may be strong, but that's not stopping a bullet from going through your head. Be careful.

Seraphina: Got it.

Maya: For the record I didn't know you were yet to be an adult.

Keon: A cripple....as a king?

Kassandra: He apparently defeated Arlo soundly. I heard he shattered his barrier in 3 blows too.

Keon: I need to see the headmaster at once-

Y/N/Vaughn: You called me?

The 3 find Vaughn and Y/N standing there, having talked before being interrupted by their presence as they head into the office.

Keon: *narrow* Vaughn this is absurd! A cripple being king?!

Vaughn: Watch the video.

He promptly shows him a video of their fight, and the three were flabbergasted as Y/N beats the shit out of Arlo.

Keon: How are you this strong?

Y/N: Pure torturous training.

Nadie: *surprised* What kind of training?

Y/N: Martial arts training at first with strength, endurance, and flexibility. Pretty soon my hard work paid off over the years along with learning from different teachers, and I became this strong.

Keon: 'Training? I see....' Do you take steroids?

Y/N: *scoff* Why the hell would I use that?

Nadie: It's not natural for a cripple to see so strong.

Y/N: I know. From where I'm from however, you wouldn't know who's strong. Statuses are deceiving however. Someone with no ability can be absurdly strong enough to contend with high tiers and even god tiers. Same goes for low and mid tiers. Respect is earned if you have the strength to back up your word no matter what your ability is.

Keon: Have you read the book UnOrdinary?

Y/N: No, but I've heard of it.

Keon: Do you agree with its contents?

Y/N: I do not. Everyone shouldn't be treated with equal respect. If they want respect, they have to earn it. And why would I be a superhero and help random people? That's their business, not mine. We have our own friends and issues to take care of.

Keon: So if someone like a low tier were to defeat an elite tier, would they be respected?

Y/N: Yes. They proven that they can contend with a higher tier, so they can be respected. However the same can't be said for the elite tier. People these days are too complacent with their abilities to realize that their body is as much of a weapon as their ability. If they lose, they lose because they're weak. There's no excuse. If you can prove yourself, that's fine. Otherwise you should know your place.

Keon: 'A mindset like this is dangerous for the hierarchy. However I can see that he does respect it at least.'

Y/N: If they want to reach for the stars, they have to back the talk up.

Keon: I see......that is all. *bow* I'll look forward to seeing your progress.

He leaves with his assistant though the red head immediately introduces herself.

Kassandra: *smile* Name's Kassandra! When I've heard there was a king with no ability I had to come and see it for myself. I didn't know people can get so strong with just their strength.

Vaughn: He's a special case along with many of his friends.

Kassandra: *surprised* His friends are strong like him too?

Y/N: Indeed.

She was in awe and asked more questions as Y/N gladly answered.

Later

Keon: He respects the hierarchy. It's not that he's saying that low tiers and such should aim high no matter what. No. If they want to be respected more, they have to earn it. Otherwise they'll have to know their place in the hierarchy.

???: I see. Society bases themself on how powerful your ability is. What kind of king is he?

Keon: Surprisingly many of the students of all tiers hold respect for him along with all the royals. I don't know how.........but he's well liked.

???: *smirk* Offer him an internship position in the next year after the new year. It'll be interesting to have a powerhouse with no abilities working for us. There's also the report of Farrah that he is also associated with the rookie officer with no ability who surprisingly is handling and solving more cases than even many seasoned agents of the Bureau. I want those two to be offered a position as soon as the new year begins asap.

Keon nods before walking away as his boss looks at the files handed to him.

???: *smirk* A cripple being king eh? I'll like to see where this leads.
