Thanos has a long arm

Obi-Wan Kenobi stood on the bridge of the Republic Cruiser, his eyes glued to the communication console. He had received reports of strange disappearances and deaths across the galaxy, but he had never expected to witness it firsthand.

He felt a disturbance in the Force, a ripple that seemed to pass through everything around him. He looked up in alarm, sensing that something terrible had happened.

"What's going on?" he asked, turning to his companions.

"I don't know," Anakin Skywalker said, his face creased with worry. "Something's not right."

Just then, they heard a commotion coming from the other side of the bridge. They rushed over to see what was happening and found a group of officers clustered around a communications console.

"What's happening?" Obi-Wan asked, his eyes scanning the console.

"We're receiving reports from all over the galaxy," one of the officers said. The trooper, Dox, looked up, a stricken look freezing his face. "It's happening here, too," he said.

Obi-Wan felt a cold shiver run down his spine. He watched in horror as people on the bridge began to fade away, one by one, without any warning or explanation. He saw the fear in their eyes, the sense of betrayal that they had been struck down in the prime of their lives. He could feel the darkness creeping in, the power of the Infinity Stones at work.

He turned to Anakin, who was standing next to him. Anakin's face was twisted with fear and confusion, and Obi-Wan could sense his friend's unease. He put a hand on Anakin's shoulder, hoping to offer some comfort, but he knew that words would do little to ease the pain of what they were witnessing.

As more and more people began to disappear, the tension on the bridge became almost unbearable. The remaining soldiers and officers were on edge, wondering who would be next, and whether they would be able to survive this dark turn of events.

Obi-Wan could feel the weight of the moment bearing down on him, threatening to crush him beneath its weight. He had always believed that the Force was a power for good, a way to bring light to the galaxy, but now he was confronted with the darkness that could be wrought by its misuse.

He turned back to the communication console, desperately seeking some kind of answer, some kind of explanation for what was happening. But all he found was silence, the static of the empty airwaves.

Suddenly, he heard a gasp from Anakin, and he turned to see his friend's expression turn to horror. "Master, something's happening to Padme," he said, his voice shaking.

Obi-Wan felt a sickening feeling in his stomach as he grabbed Anakin by the arms, the pure pain in his once-padawan's eyes shuddering through them both as Padme's life force dusted out of existence. The pain had only a moment to turn to rage in Anakin's face, before his outline started to blur and fuzz.

As Obi-Wan watched in horror, Anakin began to fade away into nothingness, his body disappearing before their eyes. Obi-Wan Kenobi couldn't believe what he was seeing. One moment, his friend and apprentice Anakin Skywalker was standing beside him, and the next, he was fading away into nothingness. Obi-Wan's heart pounded in his chest as he watched Anakin disappear before his very eyes. He could feel the Force shifting and changing around him, as if the universe itself was coming apart at the seams.

He looked around the bridge of the Republic Cruiser and saw the same thing happening to the other members of his team. Clone troopers were vanishing one by one, leaving behind only empty armor and weapons. The officers on the bridge were struggling to make sense of what was happening, their faces twisted in fear and disbelief.

Obi-Wan tried to reach out with the Force, to find some explanation for what was happening, but he felt only a cold void where there should have been a connection to the living beings around him. It was as if half of the universe had simply ceased to exist, leaving behind only a void of darkness and emptiness.

As he watched his friends and comrades disappear, Obi-Wan felt a rising sense of panic and despair. How could this be happening? Who was responsible for this terrible act? He thought of all the people he had known and loved, and felt a sense of dread wash over him as he realized that he might never see them again.

But even as the despair threatened to overwhelm him, Obi-Wan felt a glimmer of hope deep within himself. He knew that he couldn't give up, that he had to find a way to stop this terrible disaster from happening. He thought of all the Jedi teachings he had learned over the years, and focused on the idea that even in the darkest of times, there was always hope.

Obi-Wan turned to the remaining officers and soldiers on the bridge, his eyes blazing with determination. "We can't give up," he said firmly. "We have to find a way to stop this and save the rest of the galaxy from suffering the same fate as our fallen comrades."

The officers nodded in agreement, and Obi-Wan felt a sense of solidarity and purpose wash over him. They might be facing an enemy more powerful than anything they had ever encountered before, but they were not going to give up without a fight.

Obi-Wan closed his eyes and took a deep breath, centering himself in the Force. He knew that they had a difficult path ahead of them, but he also knew that

He turned to the remaining officers and soldiers on the bridge. "We need to do everything we can to stop this," he said, his voice firm. "We need to find out who is responsible for this and stop them before it's too late."

The officers nodded in agreement, and Obi-Wan felt a sense of determination settle over him. They might not be able to bring back those who had already disappeared, but they could do everything in their power to save the rest of the galaxy from suffering the same fate.
