Chapter 1: Preparations

To say Adam's cybernetic transformation is awe consuming, was a gross understatement. He isn't happy about what happened to his body, nearly his entire body is replaced by machines; only the vital organs of his torso and what remains of his face were any indication of he was once were or been organic. Or Faunus, if his Faunus traits are anything to go by.

Fortunately one of the benefits of having a cybernetic body, is that he could no longer sleep or feel any fatigue. He goes by the name of Tartarus now.

Following his resurrection, many of the technicians who helped to create Tartarus' cybernetic body referred to him as a Droid. The former Faunus made sure it was the last mistake they've ever made; he is no Droid!

He was a member of the White Fang!

He was Adam Taurus!

Until... he is General Tartarus. Though he would be lying if he dislikes his new name.

He is in this situation because he was abandoned and betrayed by Blake Belladonna and brought him to another galaxy where he could not get back to Remnant and do his part to achieve the White Fang's goals.

After Tartarus received his cybernetics turning him more machine than Faunus, Dooku told him of the Sith's Grand Plan of Galactic wide dominance. He has been educated about who or what the Jedi or the Sith are, and Dooku provided him with all the necessary information he needed to learn of them.

This concept intrigued Tartarus but he is more focused on the Faunus than he is on Galactic domination. He questioned Dooku if the Faunus in Remnant will still get what they need, but the Count reassured him he is still keeping his promise of helping the Faunus.

Tartarus felt he is being lied to, but he is not sure. Especially, Dooku and the Sith are in anyways do not share a similar goal; their's is Sith Galactic Dominance and annihilation of the Jedi Order. For Tartarus, it's Faunus Dominance and enslavement of all humans in Remnant.

To him, it doesn't matter how different their goals will be as long it benefits his personal goal to find and take over Remnant. But Dooku assures him that he will be the one to govern Remnant in his image, this suited him just fine.

During their first day of training, Count Dooku has been training the former-Faunus relentlessly to become the perfect Jedi Killing Machine, even more, powerful than any Huntsman or Huntress in Remnant.

Maybe even more powerful than any Veteran Huntsmen and Huntresses or possibly even more powerful than the Atlasean Specialist and Elite of Huntsmen and Huntresses.

Tartarus started his training with a spar, he is familiar with this and is okay having a spar with his 'Master' and the weapon he was given for his first training is a Vibroblade. But the Count told him he will be given a far more elegant weapon in the later if there are shown any improvement in his fighting style, and if he is becoming more familiar and similar to his new body.

During his first spar with the Count, Tartarus was easily defeated by him on multiple occasions because he hasn't fought a Sith before or any Force User before, considering he is only familiar with fighting against Atlas Specialists, Huntsmen, and Huntresses, not anywhere as advanced as a Sith or a Jedi.

Especially the fact Tartarus is inexperienced in using his cybernetic body as he is only familiar with his organic body. That's another thing Tartarus needs to learn to be familiar with his new body and be more fluent in its movements.

This is problematic for Count Dooku. Tartarus' fighting prowess is indeed impressive, from what he has claimed, like but he needs a Warrior that would kill Jedi with ease.

He needs Adam to get into shape to become the perfect Jedi hunter. But in Tartarus' terms, the perfect weapon for the White Fang.

Months have passed and Tartarus was able to get used to his cybernetic body, and he feels much physically agile and faster than before.

Dooku taught him the different forms and techniques used by both the Jedi and Sith; Form I to Form VII. Dooku's skill is remarkable and incredible, but Tartarus was able to learn and memorize them all of them in a matter of weeks, thanks to his implants in his brain which enhances his learning capabilities in the brain.

Needless to say, Dooku is impressed by Tartarus' quick-learning capabilities. He was able to understand and master the types of forms the Jedi use in their attacks and defenses, thus helps Tartarus learning how to utilize them.

And also intrigued Dooku more is when Tartarus shows his semblance against his Training Droids, which he destroyed many of them with no problem. He told Count Dooku that his semblance is called Moonslice.

With his Semblance, Moonslice, Tartarus was able to absorb or block the energy from an enemy attack and re-emit it again in powerful red energy strikes. He explains to Dooku that he can only do this with his weapon on hand. Dooku took this knowledge in heart, understanding that his semblance is only enabled with a weapon to avoid taking damage directly during absorption but left him highly vulnerable if he was disarmed.

At this moment right now, inside a Separatist Cruiser orbiting Geonosis, Adam, or General Tartarus as he is now called, is sitting in his some sort of throne with four IG-100 Magna Guards with his back turned to the window which has a nice view of the planet below.

His mind consumed by hate and anger, directed towards the traitor Blake Belladonna, for leaving him behind the train and for him to be stuck in this situation.

When the opportunity of returning to Remnant is given to him, he will take it! He will make sure that Blake and anyone she is associated with will meet his wrath! The Wrath of General Tartarus!

'I will make sure you suffer for this, Belladonna... You and anyone who follows you will die by my hands! Just you wait!' Tartarus' thoughts are filled with anger and hate at the Cat Faunus who place him in this situation.

Preoccupied with his thought, the entrance of his chamber opened, breaking Adam's train of thought. Count Dooku enters as Adam turns his chair around to face the Count.

Count Dooku pulls out a lightsaber and offers it to Adam, who just stared at the weapon in silence and wonder, and also curiosity by such weapon.

"This once belonged to an old friend of mine." Dooku said, "...and now it is yours, as a reward for your impressive training."

"The Jedi shall fall to their own weapon."  He continues.

The Cyborg Faunus reaches and accepts the lightsaber given to him by the Sith Lord.

"No one has ever given a lightsaber as a 'gift.' Especially not... a droid," Dooku stated bluntly, which got the Bull Faunus to glare at the Count in fury for referring to him as Droid.

"A sign of gratitude would not be completely out of place at the moment," Dooku smirked as he walks out of Adam's chamber and the door shuts close.

When Dooku left, his words echoed inside Tartarus' head.

Dooku meanwhile went to report to Lord Sidious of the success of the experiment, General Tartarus. He knelt in front of the Hologram of his master.

"Master," Dooku begins, "...the experiment has exceeded my expectations. Though his goals of equality of his species remain, but they have been eclipsed..."

Back in Tartarus' chambers the Cyborg Faunus growing anger grew as he clenches his lightsaber hard.

"By cold vengeance..."

Tartarus' eyes behind his mask turn into an intense glare.

"...unparalleled rage."

Back with Dooku and Sidious, the Sith Lord lets out a sinister smile. He can feel Adam's growing anger. He is delighted by what he has sense.

"/Yes... I can feel it./" Sidious grins evilly, feeling Adam's growing anger and hatred.

Back to Tartarus, his grip on the armchair tightens. But the word 'Droid' echoes inside him. Emphasizing the fact he looks far more Droid than a living being. The idea that Tartarus is just viewed as nothing than a Droid infuriated him to a degree. His anger becomes harder to control.

"Beneath the nearly indestructible shell..."

With a huge fit of rage, he lunges at the Magna guards closest to him, thus catching them off-Guard by Tartarus' actions.

"...lives a strategic mind of a General... and conquerer."

He ignites his newly equipped lightsaber and cuts down the head of the Magna guard in half, before slicing it into more pieces.

"He feels no remorse..."

Tartarus slams the body of the Magna guard on the glass window thus causing cracks to appear, while the one next to him asked, "What's wrong?"

"He fears no consequence."

"Malfunction?" The Magna Guard inquiries, his words anger Tartarus more.

"Stop him." Another said and pointed at Cyborg Faunus.

"What's..." the Magna Guard wasn't able to finish before Adam then slides the electro staff in half before he threw the recently destroyed body of the Magna Guard at him, knocking him back, "...wrong..."

"...including death."

The Magna Guard slams onto the wall hard sustaining multiple damages as it malfunctions and glitches out as it repeated, "What's wrong? What's wrong? What's wrong?..."

"One might say he is no longer alive."

Tartarus continues his rampage on the Magna Guards, he lunges at another Magna Guard and turns off his lightsaber before he uses the hilt as a blunt weapon and he starts bashing it on the Magna Guard's head, destroying it even further.

"I must note while mind subjugation was successful in erasing any humanity he once hands." Dooku lied, he didn't subjugate or tamper with Adam's mind.

Tartarus spun around and ignites his lightsaber at the last Magna Guard behind him. He tries to defend himself from Tartarus with his electro staff but he simply cuts him and the electro staff in half.

"...He is still plagued with vanity and extreme vengeance on his former Partner, Blake Belladonna. I have noted several custom modifications to his faceplate and armor." He informs Sidious.

He kicks the upper half of the Magna guard away as it slams onto the glass window, causing more cracks to appear.

"I shall be there, therefore, keep an eye on his progress," Dooku said, able to deceive Sidious about Adam's mind not being tampered.

"Yes... yes, be mindful of any problems the experiment may breed..." Sidious said, convinced.

Tartarus stood over his carnage as the bodies of the Magna Guards scattered everywhere in the room.

"...this bionic technology may prove to be useful for the dark side in the years to come," Sidious concluded.

Tartarus panted angrily before proclaiming, "I..."

Closes up of the brutalized Magna Guards shown as Tartarus continues, "...AM..."

"...NOT..."

The close of a Magna Guard he slammed on the wall earlier still malfunctions before shutting down as General Tartarus concludes his proclamation.

"...A DROID!!!"

~Timeskip~

When Tartarus was given his first lightsaber, and after using it on his guards, Dooku trained him in the art of lightsaber combat, teaching him the various forms and techniques used by the Jedi he will soon face on the battlefield. But this training session, he will have a lightsaber in hand to use.

Tartarus stood across the training room with Count Dooku. Adam has his lightsaber in his right hand while Dooku has his lightsaber in one hand and his arm behind his back, as he and Dooku circled and observing each other's movement.

Then they stop in their tracks as they starred at each other. Without any warning, Tartarus lunged forward with his lightsaber ready and slashes it downward at the Count. However, the Sith Lord predicted this and blocks the attack before pushing Tartarus back with a kick. He skids across the training room as he uses his claw feet to stop the momentum.

Tartarus attacks Dooku again, sending a flurry of lightsaber strikes and slashes while the Count parries All of them. The training sessions went on for almost an hour, blocking lightsaber blows, and trading slashes. Tartarus unpredictably surprise Dooku when he used his own claw feet to hold his lightsaber and attack the Count but he blocked the saber with ease. Dooku, being a professional duelist, is impressed by his improved combat prowess.

But then came to Tartarus' surprise attack. After blocking and absorbing each attack from Dooku with a lightsaber, Tartarus starts to glow.

Dooku raises an eyebrow at this. Tartarus chuckles at this and then lets out a flurry of slashes with his lightsaber, thus powerful red energy shots at the Count.

The Count was caught off-guard and begins blocking each powerful red energy at him. He stops as the powerful red energy stops coming at him before Adam lunges at him and spun around and slashes his lightsaber at the Count.

But Dooku foresaw this and blocks it in time, their lightsabers locked in place. None backing down from. Dooku uses the force to push Tartarus back. He recovers and was ready to attack again but a gesture from Dooku stops him in his tracks indicating the training session is over.

"I believe that's enough..." Dooku said, before turning his lightsaber off, "You've shown a lot of improvement from our last sparing session. And your semblance impresses me."

"The compliments are appreciated, master..." Tartarus bowed in respect, though he hates to be under the servitude of a human.

"We will continue again later but for now you will be introduced to the Droid Army." Dooku said, before towards the doorway, "I'm sure you will not be disappointed."

Tartarus said nothing but nodded in acknowledgment before following him.

~Small timeskip~

Following his training, General Tartarus was introduced to the Droid Army that still in production in Geonosis, the army he will lead against the Republic and lead the Faunus to their goal of equality.

Tartarus' first impression of them is a mix. While the Droids are indeed deathly in combat to be sure, but their incompetence is maddening. He knew these droids are meant to overwhelm the enemy with sheer numbers, but he needed Droids capable of fighting on the same level as he is, maybe holds their own against a Jedi.

So He spent two days creating his Droid Design as his bodyguard; they share the same base design as the IG-100 Magna guard but they're much deadlier than their predecessors.

He created Three variants specifically designed by Adam to engage Jedi, even the most powerful of ones. He called them, the IG-110 Guardsman, the IG-125 Paladin, and lastly, the IG-150 Praetorian. All created to destroy Jedi, no matter what rank they are. In addition to that, they have to wear mask and markings of the White Fang.

At this moment now, Adam had called a meeting in the conference room inside the Lucrehulk battleship. Those are present are Count Dooku, Viceroy Gunray, Lott Dod, and other the rest of the Trade Federation Leadership.

When he presented Dooku and the Trade Federation Leadership of his Personal Droid Bodyguards to be made, Viceroy Gunray saw the parts needed to create such Droid he whined about the cost.

"Absolutely not! Do you not understand how expensive these Droids are!?" Viceroy Gunray complained, "We simply cannot just create these Droids!"

"You have a hundred of billions of Credits, at your disposal!" Adam argued, "...surely you can agree that such droids like this should be Constructed! It could help you gain an advantage over the Jedi!"

"They're too expensive! It's not worth the cost!" Lott Dod argues back, "You're better off with those Magna Guards!"

Tartarus snaps, "You have an armada of Lucrehulk ships than are more expensive than just a few war machines that are capable of killing Jedi!"

Viceroy and the other Neimodian have a low opinion on Tartarus, either because they have to spend their money on a very expensive Droid or the fact it was this 'Droid' commanding them to create such a Project.

While the Greedy Neimodians whined about the cost of such Droids and Tartarus arguing of his design to be more effective, Dooku praises the designs. Before the Neimodians or Tartarus would continue to argue, the Count interjected.

"I approve of this..." The Count approved Tartarus' proposal.

"WHAT?!" The Nemodians exclaims in shock.

"Viceroy, I want to prototypes of these Droids to be in production." Count Dooku ordered, "...Let's see the effectiveness of these Prototypes and compare them to the Magna guards."

Tartarus smirks internally from his victory while Gunray is not happy. But the Count has already demanded that prototypes are to be made in production.

When the first batch of IG-110 Guardsman was made, Dooku has them fight against the IG-100 Magna guards.

From the sidelines, Dooku, The Trade Federation Leadership, and alongside Tartarus watch the match between the IG-110 Guardsman and Magnaguards. But Tartarus requested to have the IG-110 Guardsman to face Three Magnaguards because he wants to show them the effectiveness of the Guardsman.

They agreed to this; Dooku is most likely interested in its effectiveness while the Neimodians are skeptical of his claim.

They watch as the Guardsman is surrounded by three Magna guards. The Neimodians thought the Guardsman would have lost because he was outnumbered but it came as a huge surprise when the Guardsman was able to hold it own against THREE Magna guards.

They watch the IG-110 Guardsman expertly blocks all the combined attacks from the three Magna guards. The Guardsman ducked, weave, dodged, and evade all the incoming attacks from the Guardsman. Then, he soon turned to offensive. The lone Guardsman was able to break through Magna Guards defenses.

He Successfully maneuvers around their defenses before finishing each of them off. One with a strike to the head, before stabbing his electro-staff through the chest, killing it.

The second attack, but he was then grabbed the Guardsman and used as shield for Third Magna guard, thus the electro-staff was pierce through the chest, killing the Droid by accident. As the body is now embedded on the electro-staff

The last one throws off the dead body he just accidentally killed earlier, only to have Guardsman jab his electro-staff into the abdomen of Magna Guard. The Magna guard deactivates as the Guardsman then removes his Electro-staff from the Droid, then falls to the ground dead.

The Guardsman stood victorious before bowing down.

The Neimodians are stunned by this. They didn't expect the Guardsman to succeed against three Magna guards. They're now having second thoughts on disapproving of his project. Count Dooku is very impressed by this, he can see the potential threat they pose to the Jedi.

It came to no surprise to Tartarus that the Guardsman came out victorious. He did. designed them after all.

They went on with the IG-125 Paladin, but this time with five Magna Guards. The results came the same, with the Paladin coming out victorious. Lastly, the Praetorian, who was ordered to face ten Magna Guards, all of whom he was able to beat.

After seeing the effectiveness of Adam's Droids and the capabilities they possess, the Neimodians of the Trade Federation wasted no time and quickly put production of Adam's IG-series immediately, even when the cost is much more expensive than a Standard Magna guard. Much Viceroy Gunray's dissatisfaction but he wants these Droids to protect him at all cost.

Tartarus felt a sense of victory to have his bodyguards to be made. When the first batch of guards was made, he trained all of his Droids as how Count Dooku trained him.

And soon, the Magna Guards are perfectly equipped to deal with even the most powerful of Jedi Masters.

The time of war drew near, Tartarus became anxious to test his skills on a real Jedi. However, Dooku told Tartarus he is to be kept in reserve. Only to be revealed when the time is right to strike.

Tartarus is visibly upset at this, but he obeyed Dooku nonetheless.

His ship soon entered the tube inside the mountain of Geonosis and touched down on the landing bay inside of the mountain, one of the Geonosian Hive.

When he arrived decide to explore or be familiar with his surroundings of the Geonosian Hive he is currently in.

He was told by Count Dooku earlier that the Geonosian Hives are using to act as officer academies for fleet officers of the growing Confederacy, and the Catacombs as their dormitories, and teaching areas.

From his observation, Tartarus can tell the catacombs of the Geonosian hive might not be comfortable for anyone who is not used to the Geonosian lifestyle, but it's better than nothing. Not that Adam cared.

Tartarus as explores the place, he can't help but be impressed by the culture of the Geonosians. From what Dooku told him of the Geonosians, they live under a caste system, not that it's anything new to him. Despite the Geonosians being naturally industrious and barbaric, they were also known to take upon construction projects from outside parties, as was the case when Baktoid Armor Workshop approached them to design factories for the Trade Federation. Productivity was key to Geonosian society.

For a bunch of humanoid insects, their excellent talent for creating factories intrigues him greatly to an extent.

He can see why these Geonosians were a part of the growing Separatist Alliance. Perhaps when this war is over and won, he could have Dooku bring the Geonosians to help the White Fang and the Faunus take over Remnant, and enslave humanity. After all, the humans in their galaxy are not the same as the humans in his galaxy.

Anyways, at this moment now Tartarus walked on the catwalk of the hanger of the Geonosian Hive/Officer Academy until a Sheathipede-class transport shuttle flew through the entrance of the hanger and landed on the docking pad.

Curious, the Faunus Cyborg General decides to observe and he stood over the catwalk, leans over the railings to get a better view.

He watches as the shuttle's landing ramp extended, and disembarked a group of ten young men and women of diverse species, especially humans. Much to Tartarus' discontent at the sight of the humans being a part of this.

He speculates these must be the cadets whom Dooku told him about.

Nevertheless, Tartarus continues to observe them, and he can see some potential in these young officers. Including the humans... as much Tartarus dislikes to admit it.

The doors slide open and one of the instructors then entered the hanger and the sight of the Admiral would make anyone with Arachnidphobia to faint at the first glance at him.

Tartarus spotted him but he cared less for Harch's identity, Count Dooku would probably introduce him later when the time comes, but right now he watches as the Humanoid Arachnid addressed the cadets.

He observes the Harch him giving a speech or lecture. He instructed and warns these cadets of the incoming war with the Republic; what they should learn, how should they overcome the obstacles that come at them.

After what seems to be a full minute of listening to his orientation, the Harch Instructor concluded his lecture and stepped aside, before his Tactical Droid walked up and asked for the names of the cadets while the Harch watches as the Cadets were brought to their quarters by pairs.

He watches them leave one by one before the last of them were brought to their dormitory in the catacombs, he knows more cadets will be arriving soon. He will most likely be working aside them.

He believes it's enough exploring for now, and returned to his ship.

All he can do for now is wait for his time to strike, and train himself further for the incoming war.

When the time comes, everyone in this galaxy will know and fear his name;

General Tartarus of the White Fang and the Separatist Alliance.
