In the beginning, twelve trolls associated with the Zodiac signs (Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces) played a game, a deadly game. One in which the Mage lost her hearing, the Prince cut out his tongue because of it, and the Thief killed everyone but herself.

The second generation won their game, but the Bard killed nearly everyone in a Rage-induced murder spree, and the Knight, his moirail, tried to stop it.

Now a third generation has appeared, to right the wrongs and have some fun in the process.
