I watch my daughter being born, talk, walk, run, play, and grow into a beautiful young girl she's 16 now and I have to protect her...even if my wife and dad said she can handle herself.

"Dad I have a new book it's another vol of that romance novel I told you and mom about!" I heard my little girl say excited I know she's not little anymore but I still call her my little princess or girl. "I see but what's with you and romance? You remind me of your mother and me in our youth." "Hah guess I am my mother and father's daughter."  "Oh and there's a dance and I don't have a date night guy will ask me." She said sadly but then I got an idea "I can take you. You know me and your mom met that way and of course we danced a little when she was pregnant with you." "Really?" "Yup and I'll take you but we have to find you a beautiful dress." "Oh thanks daddy I'll tell mom and Grandpa!" She ran off happily I loved see my daughter happy but... I don't think that I can protect her from guys much longer so I'll teach her how to use a gun."
