"So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me."

(2:152)

How can we not love this verse? How can we not love The One who sent down this ayah? It's really touching😍

We should remember the blessings Allah has given to us, and not forget about it. We should be grateful for the blessings Allah has given us. When we remember Allah through obeying Him, He'll remember us through forgiving us.

When Allah bestows His blessings upon us, remember Him, and He'll remember you. When you remember Allah, His help is with you!

Do you want to be responded back? When you see the unanswered texts?
Do you want others to remember you?
But it's not necessary that the other person really remembers you, right?

It might just be us remembering and thinking about the other person. But, who is more important than Allah? It is no big deal if you remember Him, but Him remembering you? The King of all Kings remembering you? That is a huge honour!

The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, "Allah the Most High said, 'I am as My servant thinks (expects) I am. I am with him when he mentions Me. If he mentions Me to himself, I mention him to Myself; and if he mentions Me in an assembly, I mention him in an assembly greater than it. If he draws near to Me a hand's length, I draw near to him an arm's length. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed.'"

[Sahih Al-Bukhari]

You know, it's so beautiful that now I notice; all you have to do is just take the first step and Allah will do the rest. It's much more beautiful when Allah says that when we remember Him to ourself, He remembers us to himself- there is a personal closeness between us and Him. Just the simple act of remembering which takes little to no effort brings forth so much! When you mention Him to a gathering, He mentions you to a better gathering, i.e. the angels. Your name being mentioned in a gathering where Allah's name is being constantly remembered? It's a great honour He mentions us!

But that doesn't end there, you take just a small move forward, He'll cover the rest for you. Sometimes we're so so so guilty after committing a sin, and we feel so unworthy to go and speak to Him? But go to Him, take that first step and eventually everything will fall into place by His will.

So remember Allah when you are alone or with people, because the key to having Allah remember you, is through you just remembering Him. It could be so subtle how you remember Him with people in a conversation, by just adding Alhamdulillah - All praise belongs to Allah, you can add In Sha Allah - if Allah wills, there are other things you can just add in a normal conversation too like replacing "wow" with Subahanallah.

So be grateful for the blessings He has given you by continuously obeying Him, and don't deny His blessings, His favour by disobeying Him; stay away from what He has prohibited.

You don't necessarily have to remember Allah only in salah time, but other times too; for instance- you can generally remember him at all times; in your heart, you can do the general adkars, you can ponder over His creations, etc.

As a result of remembering Him, He will also remember you. So don't only remember Him at times of difficulty, but also remember Him at times of happiness.
