"Okay so we've gathered up all the information we need." Jade stands with Jasper and Emma in the hallway walking back and forth thinking "Now we need to put all the pieces together."

"I-I don't know guys I think she might be a tough nut to crack." Emma rubs the back of her neck unsure. Jasper reassures her putting a hand on her shoulder with a determined smile "Don't worry princess if she doesn't wanna crack we'll make her crack!" Jasper puts her hand in her fist cracking her knuckles.

Jade nods in agreement "Alright come on ladies let's tell her what we know." The girls walk down the hall ready to interrogate their suspect.

"So you worked for Princess Amethyst before she became the leader of the Gem Rebellion." Obsidian sits in a lodge chair next to Pearl, Peridot nods handing them both of cup of tea on a tiny plate sitting down in her chair "Yes I've knew every since she was a young gem, oh she so cute! And the kindest sweetest girl you'd ever meet I was actually not surprised that she had turned a new leaf and rebelled against her royal name and to be honest with you.. I was so proud of her if I could have joined the rebellion I would but at the time I was pregnant with my second daughter." Peridot chuckles to herself taking a sip of her tea while Pearl and Obsidian listened patiently.

"So what happened that night?" Pearl puts her tea cup down on the table, Peridot sighs a bit deeply to herself placing hers down on the table looking at the two women with pleading eyes "I've never told anyone about this not even my husband so please.. keep this between us yes?"

Pearl and Obsidian nod as Peridot sits upward in her chair taking a deep breath looking at them both.

It was a quiet night in the palace which wasn't that common considering everyone had went home or to bed except.. me

Peridot walks down the dark hallway looking around with unsure frown on her face carrying a pile of papers in her hands with a big pregnant belly in front of her.

I had one more task to do before heading home it was to drop off some documents to the queen that she needed but when I went to her room she wasn't inside which was odd this was a routine that was daily on the dot at exactly 8:30pm I knock on her door, she open it, take the documents, tell me to be safe on my way home and close the door

But that night it was different.

Peridot walks up to a light blue door with a white diamond knocking on it lightly "My queen I have the documents that you needed."

I didn't get a response

"You're majesty? Hello?" Peridot raises an eyebrow confused knocking again but louder this time again with no response. She frowns a bit annoyed walking away down the end of the hall.

So I walked down the hall hoping I could spot her but no luck until I turned the corner.

Peridot rubs her back from the weight of her belly turning the corner. Ahead of her the temple there was a black then white flash coming from inside the sanctuary. She blinks her eyes for a second taken back by the flashing colors. She tip toes silently not wanting to draw any attention to herself.

I saw a white flash of light in the temple. I know curiously killed gemaphic cat butt I had a feeling in my gem something wasn't right.

Peridot walks up to the doors of the temple slowly bring her hand to the knob but then it burst open causing her to shield her eyes from the brightness. She peeks open an eye to see Queen Diamond on the floor not moving

"Oh my stars!! You're highness!! You're highness!!" Peridot tries to move as fast as she could to the queen kneeing down beside her checking her body for injuries until she turns her over to see the gem on her shoulder cracked almost completely shattered

I saw the queen in the temple she was just laying there unresponsive I thought she was dead but then

Queen Diamond takes very sharp low breaths clinging onto life peridot scrambles to her feet out the door in a panic to find help before the queen dies

I was about to call someone when I heard something behind me

She hears a squeak behind her she turns around and is admittedly grabbed by the throat slammed up against the wall, she gasps for air as she lifted two inches off the ground. She looks at the figure with a black cloak over their face as they glared at her with cold empty eyes

"P-Please I-I'm with child. P-Please don't hurt me." Peridot forms tears in her eyes chocking on her words showing the figure that she was pregnant. The figure scoffs to themselves letting her go making Peridot drop to the floor like a sack of potatoes, holding her neck coughing. She looks up at the figure with wide eyes admittedly recognizing them.

"Who was it?" Obsidian and Pearl sits on the edge of their seats looking at her with wide eyes desperately. Peridot clutches her hands. Her fingers digging into the chair looking down at the floor with tears rolling down her face.

She sniffs before finally speaking

"It was...I-It was."

Agate couldn't help but chuckle to herself quietly cracking a smile, she looks up at the girls with offended eyes that they would accuse her of such a Heinous act.

Emma opens her eyes looking at Agate who looks at her with unfazed look walking over to the door before she closes it she looks at the girls "Don't worry I won't say anything to the queen but I hope that will help you steer in the right direction of whatever you're looking for." She nods towards them before closing the door.

"What was she talking about? What was the vision?" Jasper looked at Emma curiously, Emma opens her mouth about to say something but a beep goes off. Jade grabs a watch out of her pocket gasping before grabbing Emma's hand rushing out of the room "Oh my stars! We're late to meet up with the royal tailor!! Come on princess we have to go!!"

"Wait guys Whatcha see?! Guys!!" Jaspers calls out for them but they leave in a hurry, Jasper stomps her foot dramatically throwing her head back annoyed "Agh!! Man I hate cliff hangers!!"

"And that's what happened." Peridot looks down at her tea cup shaking a bit, Obsidian and Pearl look at her, their faces mixed with sympathy and horror. Too afraid to say anything or ask any questions

But finally Obsidian spoke

"Peridot with all due respect why didn't you come forward?"

"Why didn't you didn't say anything?"

"Believe me I wanted to but.. I just.. couldn't" Peridot gets tears in her eyes letting them roll down her face she looks at the two women with a terrified look on her face from the memory "Because she threatened me, she said would shattered my children... if I ever told the queen."

Obsidian takes a deep breath setting the tea cup down on the table standing up with Pearl placing a hand on Peridot's shoulder with a serious face "I know that must of been hard to keep secret for so many years but I promise we will unwrap this whole thing you have my word."

Peridot gives a small smile standing up shaking Obsidian and Pearls hand she grips Obsidians hand tightly jerking her forward with a serious face."Thank you both.. please if you don't mind me asking you something."

Jade and Emma walk down the east wing of the hall and stop at a bright red door. Jade knocks on the door

It opens as a man with brown hair styled in a pixie cut and light brown skin with a polka dots tailor suit on opens the door "Oh hello you must be here for your coronation dress." He pushes his round glasses up his nose flashing the toe girls a friendly smile

"Yes we're here to pick it up." Jade nods, he gestured them to come in, it was a giant room filled with fabrics, sewing machines, draft illustrated of designs and dresses

He holds up a pink plain dress that was floor length "Here you are."

Emma looks at the dress tilts her head to the side

"What's the matter? Y-You don't like it?" The man softens his face looking a little hurt

"N-No no I-I like it it's very ... pink." Emma tries to give a smile but looks down the man frowns sadly "There's no need for you to lie princess I know you hate it." He sighs sitting on a near by chair "Oh I wish I could design a more stylish fabulous dress but that's just wishful thinking."

"Why?" Emma asked

"Queen Diamond and Queen Onyx wants nothing out of the ordinary or 'hideous'" the man does air quotes with a sour face

"Well than you should design what makes you happy." Emma points to the man trying to up lift him, Jade grabs her shoulder

"Emma remember we weren't gonna get anymore trouble."

The man pops up and quickly jumps up from his seat and scans Emma's face his eyes get big with happiness

"Oh my glitter goodness you're Amethyst little girl oh look at you you've gotten so big I'd rarely recognized you!!" He squeals squishing her cheeks as Emma crosses her eyes confused

"Y-You're who?"

"I'm Zirconia!" The man posed like a supermodel "I was part of the rebellion with your mom."

"You were?!" Emma's eyes sparkle "But wait how'd you get a job in the castle."

"After a few years of waiting it out I decided to see if things have cooled down with Queen Onyx, luckily she had never seen me before so I was able to get the job of being the Royal tailor!" He gestured to the workshop "it's just been so hard to keep this act up of making it by hand it absolutely horrible on my nails."

He perks up for a second like he got an idea

He looks out the window at the guards walking outside he closes the blinds, he quickly goes to the door and locks it. He walks over to the wall and touches it with his hand a magically gateway opens with stairs going down "Come on sugar I wanna show you something spectacular!!"

Emma looks at Jade who looked skeptical but sighs in defeat "Just for a moment we have to be back in time before anyone gets suspicious."

"Splendid!!" Zirconia bounces up and down happily with a smile showing the huge gap between his two front teeth as the girls walk down the stairs "Ooo this is going to be exciting!!" He claps his hands as he follows them down the stairs

What they didn't notice is that a shadow was watching.

Zirconia leads them downstairs until they reach a basement like room, his gem that was on his forehead flashes a sparkle as he claps his hands turning the lights on showing fabrics and ribbons on a long table glowing while a pair of scissors levitating cutting the fabric with mannequins floating around almost dancing with unfinished and half finished Hollywood like dresses and suits glowing a shiny sliver color, Emma looks around amazed at the pretty dresses while fabric floats off of the walls, needles sewing design into the dresses "Welcome to where the magic happens darlings!!" Zirconia does jazz hands standing in the middle of the workshop proudly.

Jade looks around grabbing a piece of green fabric, she looks at Zirconia with amazement and wonder in her eyes "This is amazing."

"Well thank you honey aren't you a kind one." Zirconia smiles pinching Jades cheek making her blush a bit before gesturing to the workshop "Every single one of these dresses and suites were created by yours truly. The queen does look stylish on her own ya know" He leans in whispering into Jade's ear sassy like "But between you and me she'd look better with a paper bag over her head." Jade covers her mouth giggle while Zirconia rolls his eyes a little bitterly.

Emma holds her coronation dress placing it down on the table looking at the tailor with sparkle in her eyes "This is so cool! Can you do anything else?"

"Oh honey I can do that and a whole lot more." Zirconia smiles before snapping his fingers as the room goes completely black.

Zirconia raises a hand up above her making them now appear in a swimwear, Emma wearing a pink bathing suit, Zirconia in a white bikini and Jade in a green bikini slightly herself with a blush at how much skin she was showing.

Zirconia snaps her fingers turning them with glamorous Hollywood like fancy dresses, Emma in a long sleeve dress with ribbons at the bottom, Jade in a long silk green half sleeved gown and Zirconia with a white glitter off shouldered gown with white fluffy fur smirking at the girls face of awe.

Zirconia spins in the middle of the room floating before ending with jazz hands spelling her name out in cursive with glitter and fireworks sparking out.

A creek is heard making the girls gasps making Zirconia quickly change back into his form with scared wide eyes

"Hey guys! Aww did you guys have a party in here? Aww now fair I wanted to be apart of the musical number too!" Jasper pokes out her lip in a hurt annoyed pout that she missed all the fun, Jade gives her a smile sorry while Emma just laughed. Zirconia puts a hand on his chest breathing a sigh of relief that he wasn't gonna be caught or worse be shattered. "Anyway the queen wanted to see you princess."

Emma nods grabbing the dress walking back upstairs but not before turning around waving to Zirconia sweetly with a smile "Bye Zirconia thank you for doing my dress!"

Emma, Jasper, and Jade walk into the throne room where Queen Diamond and Onyx were waiting for them "Well look who decided to show up! Emerald this is your last warning do not be late again!" Onyx sternly glares at her making Emma shrink a bit, Queen Diamond scolds at Onyx making her gasps with a shocked face and dropped jaw "Come now Onyx don't be so hard on her. Her special day is tomorrow come along sweet gem." Queen Diamond gestured Emma to follow her as a male servant stands in front of them gesturing to the decorated room

"Yes your highness the guests will be seated in these aisle'

"You and Queen Onyx will be stand right here in front of the alter where the Princess will stop right here and  you place the crowd on her head and then she will make her royal coronation speech after the guests praise her glory she will step out to the balcony and speak to the villagers and peasants of the kingdom."

Emma eyes start to drift apart as she stand beside her aunt bored tuning the meeting out. Onyx notices and hisses at her "Emerald fix your eyes now!" Emma shake her head making her eyes go forward.

Suddenly the doors swing open as a blond hair teenage boy in a blue long shirt and gray pants with a man bun tries to run but some of the soldiers tackle him making the royal ladies turn around in confusion and shock "Let me go!! Get off me!!"

"Shut your mouth boy!!" One of the soldiers growls at him handcuffing his hands looking at the queen with a sorry look "So sorry you're majesty! This delinquent got pass a few guards and try to make a break for it!"

"Ugh of course you would let a filthy peasant roam through the palace before you lazy boozes decided to finally catch him." Onyx puts a hand on her hip rolling her eyes scoffing, Queen Diamond shoots her a look with a raised eyebrow shutting her up stepping forward a bit "We will deal with this boy after my granddaughter's coronation until then take him to the royal dungeon." Queen Diamond flicks her hand

The boy's eyes wide as the guards pull him away he starts to fight "Get off me! Get off me-" he sees Emma looking at him with curiosity seeing her eyes flash a slight shade of purple he whispers under his breath in shock "The rebellion princess. Princess!! Princess please! Help me! We can't let them do this to our people!! Ms Amethyst please!!"

"Get that boy out of here!!" Onyx yells angrily pointing as the soldiers dragged the poor boy away, Onyx huffs like a bull before fixing herself looking at Emma placing her hands on the little girl's shoulders "Now Emerald let us hear your coronation speech."

Emm twiddles her thumbs looking up at Onyx with a cute little smile rocking on her heels "W-Well I actually wanted it to be a surprise."

"Aww isn't that precious!" Queen Diamond puts a hand on her chest with a smile "Of course sweetie you can speak your speech tomorrow I'm sure it will be memorial and inspiring." She pinches Emma's cheek making her blush, she places her hand on her back lightly pushing her towards the door "Now come along dear let's get you to bed."

Carnelia grunts angrily trying to use her knife to cut the ankle shackle on her leg, she lets out a frustrating yell slamming her fist into the wall when she hears a voice a few feet away from her in the same cellular.

"It won't work it's Tungsten metal they especially made it so you can't break it genius." The male voice huffs like he was rolling his eyes.

Carnelia growls at him angrily showing him her knife "Well it's not like you're doing anything! If you don't know by now buddy we will be executed tomorrow so unless you have something to protect our gems from being shattered! Shut up!!"

The sounds of chains rattling makes her turn to see the teen boy walk up to her, he grabs her ankle but she jerks it away snarling at him "Don't touch me!"

"Look do you wanna get out the chains or not." The teen boy raises an eyebrow at her with serious face, Carnelia looks him up and down before loosening up and letting him grab her ankle.

He leans in close to the lock whispering softly as his gem on the back of his neck glows lightly. A small yellow magical spiritual looking key appears making Carnelia wide her eyes as the key goes into the lock unlocking it before it disappears. The lock unlocks falling to the ground Carnelia looks at her now free ankle looking up at the boy

She quickly jerks up grabbing the cellar keys away from the sleeping guard unlocking the cellar door, running out of the underground dungeon,

"You're welcome." The boy rolls his eyes watching her disappear up the stairs.

Emma climbs into her bed hugging Noddles as the queen tucks her into bed "Grandma. Were you scared for your coronation?"

Queen Diamond looks at her with a nod smiling looking at Emma placing a hand on her cheek brushing her thumb on her cheek warmly "Oh yes I was terrified! But your grandfather helped me get through it. When your Aunt Onyx had her coronation she got through only feeling a bit nervous and your mother-" Queen Diamond softens her face looking at Emma imaging her daughter Amethyst in bed looking up at her "Your mother was very nervous for her she was so jittered she could even make it through her speech but she great and you will too."

Diamond smiles with tears lightly forming in her eyes taking a strand of Emma's long blond curly hair tucking it behind her ear feast her hand under her chin "Your mother would be so proud of you. And I know that she would be so excited for your special day."

Emma smiles at her grandma, Queen Diamond gives her a kiss on her cheek chuckling while she tucks Emma in "Now get some sleep we have a very big day ahead of us tomorrow." She walks over to the door closing it, Emma snuggles in her bed about to fall asleep when she hears a small quiet knock on the door. She hops out of bed opening it to see Jade, Obsidian, Pearl and Jasper she quietly shushes them as they all snuck in closing the door.

"So what did you guys find out?" Jasper asked Pearl and Obsidian.

"It turns out this is whole thing is more corrupted than we thought." Obsidian sits on Emma's bed rubbing her temple as Pearl looks at the other girls with a serious face "We have very reliable information."

"Us too but for some odd reason I feel like we're missing something." Jade nods putting a finger on her chin walking back and forth thinking "Like a Chuck of the story is missing."

"Perhaps I can help with that."

They all turn around to Carnelia standing on top of the balcony with a serious narrowed eyed face walking towards them. The girls quickly put Emma behind ready for a fight "Do not take another step!" Obsidian holds her hand out growling.

"Relax privilege butt I'm not here to attack you or the princess. I heard you were investigating the queens accident I may know the last piece of information you need princess." Carnelia hops off the balcony walking towards Emma.

Jade squints her eye not trusting her pulling Emma towards her protectively "Why should we trust you?"

"Yeah why!" Jasper chimes in

"Because the queen is a cold hearted corrupted prude! She set me up to do her dirty work and was gonna shattered me to save her own flat butt! So when this whole thing explodes I am not about to take the fall for her!" Carnelia grinds her teeth slamming her short knife into the wall making the girls flinch.

Obsidian looks at the girls who look at each other for a minute before giving her a nod. She walks up to Carnelia puffing out her chest a bit "What do you know?"

"Well You'd better buckle up ladies cause what I'm about to tell you is gonna blow you away."
