....

"Kaha hai yaar, Raavi?" Shiva upturned her handbag on the bed, looking through a million things he didn't even know actually fit in the bag.

"Shiva. Phone hai, koi chooha nahi, jo tujhe mile na! Dekh udhar hi kidhar hoga bag mein." Raavi sat in front of the mirror and curled her hair.

"Bag hai ki Bermuda Triangle, saala kuch mil hi nahi raha." Shiva grumbled under his breath.

His eyes fell across a tiny device hidden away under a handkerchief that fell out of her bag, and he picked it up to inspect it.

It was a weird looking remote of some sort, with barely any buttons, which confused Shiva because it didn't look like it belonged to a TV, Bluetooth speaker or AC, which were the only devices that needed a remote.

Shiva turned it around twice, wondering what an alien-kind of remote would do in Raavi's bag. "Ye kya hai, chipkali? Kis cheez ka remote hai?"

Raavi turned around, and her eyes widened in horror, as she leapt forward to snatch it from his hand, dropping the curler, which was thankfully disconnected now.

"Shiva! Give that back to me!" She reached for the remote, but Shiva held it high above his head.

"Arre, bhadak kyu rahi hai? Sirf puch raha hu kis cheez ka remote hai. Ghar ka remote hai toh bahar drawer mein rakh na, koi dhundhega toh wahi mil jaayega."

"No!" Raavi yelled, her face flushing red, as she snatched the remote from his hand and stuffed it back into her bag, her eyes flirting towards her suitcase lying a few feet away. "Tu-tu room mein jaa na!"

"Ajeeb ladki hai." Shiva scratched his head and walked away, not noticing how flushed and embarrassed Raavi looked, stuffing the remote back into the deepest pocket of her bag.

....

Raavi lounged on the sofa, munching on a bowl of chips as Mahi and Richa tried to steal some unsuccessfully.

"Raavi, tera ye mattress kya kar raha hai abhi bhi yaha?"

Raavi glanced over at her mattress and made a face at her friends, "Ye kaisa sawaal hai?"

"I thought you would have shifted by now." Richa shrugged, as Shiva scooted between them, throwing an arm around Raavi.

"Kaha shift hone ki baatein ho rahi hai? Kaha jaa rahi hai, chipkali?" He asked, reaching for the bowl of chips and earning a slap on his hand.

"Kahi bhi nahi. Pata nahi ye log kya bol rahe hai." Raavi shrugged, feeding him a chip over her shoulder, watching Jurassic Park that played on the TV.

"Arre, you know, I assumed...." Richa wiggled her eyebrows, making gestures with her hands.

"What-" Raavi imitated her hand gestures, absolutely confused.

"Moved in. I thought you both moved in."

Raavi stopped eating her chips mid-way and glanced over at Shiva, who just smiled. He hadn't exactly asked her to shift into his room, although she did walk in and take naps on the comfy bed one too many times, and he'd simply let her, choosing to sleep on her mattress instead.

"Ye bhi koi announcement hoti hai kya? 'Raavi moved from her mattress into our room'. Kuch bhi, matlab!" Shiva scoffed, dusting his hands on his pants, and Raavi's heart skipped at 'our room'.

"Matlab, she moved in?" Mahi smiled, ruffling Raavi's hair, as he stood up.

"Obviously. Iske itne paas aake, ab aur door nahi reh sakta." Shiva winked and smirked, leaving the girls behind to hoot and tease Raavi all they pleased.

Exactly 2 minutes and 15 seconds later, Raavi walked into the kitchen where he was cleaning up the dishes.

"Jhooth kyu bola?"

Shiva turned around to find his fuming chipkali standing with her arms crossed, a pout on her lips that he just wanted to kiss right now.

"Kya matlab?" He shrugged, wiping the counter.

"Hello mister, I'm talking to you." She stood on his side, eyebrows furrowed. "I never moved in. Bahar itne bade bade dialogues kyu maare? 'Iske itne paas aake aur door nahi rahunga' " Raavi imitated him.

"If I asked you, will you?" Shiva asked, setting aside the cloth, and leaning against the counter.

"Hein? Shiva mai kya bol rahi hu aur tu kya-"

"Will you?"

"Will I what?"

"Move in. With me?"

All the confusion and irritation on Raavi's face melted away, as she smiled wide at his question, the happiness radiating off her face. "Really?"

"Puchne waala tha, utne mein ye dono aa gaye, aur tune mujhe mere room mein dafa kara diya." Shiva huffed, as Raavi wrapped her arms around his torso.

"Humara room."

"Kya?"

Raavi raised herself on her toes and kissed his chin, "Maine tujhe humare room mein dafa kara diya."

Shiva grinned, resting his arms around her shoulders, "Toh mai isse haa samjhu?"

"TERA ROMANCE TIME KHATAM HO GAYA HO TOH MOVIE KHATAM KAR LE, MERI AMMA!" Mahi yelled from the living room, causing Raavi to chortle.

"I want whichever side you sleep on." Raavi announced, and Shiva pouted.

"That's not fair-"

"Relax, mazaak kar rahi hoon. Mujhe koi bhi side chalega. Ab room mein dafa ho jaa, chal." She giggled and pinched his cheek, joining her friends for their movie night.

.....

Later, that night, after 2 hours of arranging and rearranging her clothes, books and belongings in the room, their room, Raavi looked around proudly.

"Ab lag raha hai ye Raavi Joshi ka room." She raised her invisible collar, when someone coughed behind her.

"Excuse me, madam. Ye mera bhi room hai. Aapke akele ka nahi."

Shiva spun her around and caged her in his arms, pulling her up against the wall.

"Par tu toh mere akele ka hai. Hai na?" Raavi batted her eyelashes dramatically, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"You make it very hard for me to not kiss you when you do things like this." Shiva leaned forward murmered against her lips.

"Kisne roka hai tujhe?" Raavi whispered, her eyes fluttering shut in anticipation of his kiss.

Shiva pulled back just enough to see a smile graze her lips, which made him smile. Reaching up to lock the door, he latched it shut and pulled her in for a kiss.

Her soft lips against his would drive him crazy someday, as she kissed him back, tilting her head, nibbling at his lips and soothing them with her own.

Her hands went to his hair, fisting and tugging at the silky strands, he groaned, and she slipped her tongue into his mouth, kissing him harder.

His hands slipped under the top she wore, pulling her closer by her waist, his touch on her bare skin spreading a fire across her body, the intensity same if not more, every single time.

Shiva trailed kisses down her jaw, onto her neck and to her shoulder, the scratch of his beard on her skin causing her to gasp lightly, as he nipped on the skin near the straps of her top, pulling back to tease her.

Her eyes fluttered open, sensing the absence of his warmth. Before he could think of teasing her and leaving her hanging, she pulled him by his arm, and caged him between the door and her.

Raavi raised an eyebrow, and murmered "Not today." before kissing him, harder than before.

Her finger nails scratched at his scalp, as their tongues intertwined, going at each other fervently. Raavi broke the kiss, only to place a kiss on his jaw, just under his ears and she felt him shiver.

Tu sher toh mai sawa sher.

She left a trail of wet kisses down his neck, earning a growl from him, when she reached the base of his neck.

She grazed her teeth over his skin, biting and sucking on it, sure to leave a nice little mark the next day. Shiva almost moaned at the way she attacked him.

She tugged at his vest, which he took off instantly, making Raavi giggle, as she stared appreciatively at Shiva.

She let her hands appreciate the curves and planes of his body, still kissing him like her life depended on it. Her fingers trailed down to the waistband of his pants, grazing over his very evident erection.

Shiva let out a growl at the back of his throat and pinched her waist, flipping them both, so that she was against the door now.

He kissed the corner of her lips, before kissing her along her throat. Raavi arched her head back to give him easy access, as he placed hard kisses against her skin, reaching for the hem of her top, and tugging it off in one swift motion.

Raavi pulled back, and nudged him backwards on the bed, straddling him, pulling his arms around her waist and up her back.

"Kis ke liye ruka hai?" She whispered, placing several kisses on his lips, his fingers toying with the clasp.

Shiva looked straight up at her, unclasping her bra and tossing it to the farthest end of the room.

He eyed her appreciatively from head to toe, taking note of each detail and curve she had.

She had perfect breasts, that had little, perfectly bite-able freckles where they curved.

He looked at her for any sign of hesitation, but he could only see desire. So he let his hands trace up to her chest, thumb grazing the underside of her breast.

"You are so beautiful." He whispered, tracing feather light kisses down to the swells of her breasts.

The mere feel of his rough hands on her supple skin made Raavi moan loudly. In an instant, Shiva pushed her onto the bed, climbing on top of her, before cupping her breasts with his palm.

Raavi squirmed under his ministrations, as he kissed and nipped at her skin, his hands focusing on the other mound.

"Shiva, I-" She moaned, her voice raspy and breathing ragged.

"Do you need me to stop?" Shiva whispered, raising himself up to kiss her lips.

"No." Raavi groaned, slapping his shoulders, arching into him, wanting more of whatever he was doing.

As if he heard her silent plea, he placed soft kisses all round her breast. Her hands found their way to his hair, tugging and mewling every time he placed a kiss on her sensitive skin. It was as if someone was turning a key to the spring in her stomach. She needed him to do more.

"Shiva, please!" She moaned, as he bit around the skin more, soothing it with his tongue.

Shiva raised his head to look into her eyes. Hers, half closed, and his, darkened in desire. "Please kya?"

"Stop teasing me like this and do more!" Raavi croaked, as he trailed kisses down her stomach, nipping at her waist and moving back up, kissing her harder.

"I think I'm in control now, darling." Shiva whispered, before placing his lips over her hardened peaks.

Raavi mouth curved into a soundless scream, sinking into the pillows, as he suckled, bit and tugged at her hard peaks with his teeth, causing her to shiver in pleasure.

The more attention he paid to her peaks, the more the coil inside her kept wounding itself, forming an itch she couldn't scratch that settled between her legs.

The sounds she was making were unknown to her, but to Shiva's ears, it was the sound of pleasure. Pleasure that he was giving her. And he hadn't even done anything. Yet.

Raavi felt herself climbing a peak she was very familiar with before, but the intensity didn't match or even come close to what she had experienced before. She had to do something, because he wasn't.

She sneaked her hands between them, reaching between her legs, but Shiva pulled her hand up and caught both hands by her wrist, nodding 'no'

Shiva let his hands travel down her body, pinching her waist slightly, kissing the valley between her chest, and cupping her firmly, the thin cloth of her cotton shorts no match to the warmth his palm radiated over her core.

A touch, a single touch and she came undone, a hoarse cry echoing off the walls of their room, her fingers entangled in his hair, arching into his touch, eyes closed in the aftermath, her breathing choppy.

Shiva looked down between them and up at Raavi, his hand coming to rest on her cheek now.

"Did you just-"

Raavi nodded, not trusting any words to leave her mouth right now, as Shiva kissed her softly.

"Pehli baar tha?"

She nodded 'no' this time, catching her voice, shaky and feeble. "It's-it's the first time it's not se-self induced."

Shiva smiled, kissing her again, until the words registered in his brain.

Self-induced. Remote. Her flustered reaction to him finding the remote.

He looked at her, eyes widening in shock, as he murmered remote', and Raavi knew he had caught on, biting her lip.

"Raavi," Shiva looked at her, with a curious expression. "Woh remote... Do you have a-"

"Yes."

"Is it blue?"

"No, it's purple."

"Can I see it-"

"NO, BESHARAM LADKA!" Raavi whined, slapping his arm, burying her face in his shoulder.

"Kaha chupaya hai tune?" Shiva chuckled, propping himself up on his elbows.

"Nahi bataungi. Aur tu maasi ko mat batana." She squeezed her eyes shut, and Shiva held back his laugh. "I didn't tell her what I spent that money on, maine unse kaha mera wallet chori ho gaya."

Shiva ended up laughing anyway, for which he got a few pinched from Raavi. "Has mat, gadheda!"

He looked at her, laughter dying down, and the way he looked at her, the energy in the room zapped to how it was a few minutes ago.

"Do you still use it?" Shiva whispered, caressing her cheeks, his piercing gaze on her.

"No. Definitely not, after today." She nipped at his nose, and he swore he could have taken her right then and there.

"So, the remote controls the speed, hmm?" His fingers trailed down her neck, on her collarbone, down her arms and entangling their fingers over her head.

"Mhmm." Raavi hummed, heart thumping against her chest.

"That means I can control it, correct? Whenever," He kissed her under her ear, "however," nipping her collarbone, "I want?" kissing the swell of her breasts.

Raavi almost agreed, until she snapped out of it, and within a second had flipped them over, so that he was under her.

"Not a chance. Ab woh teri sautan hai." Raavi trailed a finger down his forehead nose and chin, kissing him under the ear, palms flat across his chest. "Ab woh sirf tab bahar aayega jab tu ghar pe na ho. Understand, Mr. Tharki Besharam Pandya?"

Raavi pecked his lips and slid off of him, before tapping his shoulders, asking him to sit up, and she straddled his hips as he leaned against the headboard.

"My turn." Raavi whispered, as she ground her hips against him, the friction against his hardness making him growl.

Almost immediately, his hands gripped her waist, making her stop. "Kya kar rahi hai?" Shiva asked, eyes hazy in pleasure.

"Returning the favour." She whispered, as she ground herself against him harder, leaning forward to kiss his neck, holding onto his shoulders for support.

Shiva's arms wrapped firmly around her waist, as she continued to torture him, slowly taking him up to his peak, and changing it up in the last second, leaving him high and dry.

"Raavi..." He growled, begging her to do something, anything, his arms all over her, as he moved in sync with her. This woman would be the death of him, she drove him crazy like no other.

"Tell me what you need, Shiva." She whispered, and he swore he would have come undone right there.

"Just let me-" He groaned, as she switched up her movements yet again, and she was sure going to bear the brunt of this little experiment soon.

Raavi smirked, kissing him full on the lips, having mercy on him and moving faster, as they both chased their peaks. The barriers of their shorts between them were the only hindrance to the heat that they felt, the need to reach the edge ever so urgent in this second.

She bit his earlobe, moved in one swift, hard motion, which had him come undone with a groan, panting and gasping, biting the skin on her shoulder, as she was thrown over the edge for the second time.

When the haze cleared and they returned to their senses, Raavi raised her head to rest against his forehead, letting out muffled giggles.

"That's one way to welcome me." She pecked lips, and he pinched her waist, making her help.

"Chup kar, gadhedi." Shiva huffed, as she slid off him and reached for her t shirt, throwing it over herself loosely, before tossing his vest at him.

She blew a flying kiss at him, before settling onto her side of the bed, turning on her side so that her back faced him. "Goodnight, bandar."

A pair of strong arms immediately wrapped around her waist, and she snuggled back into his chest, his lips near her ears, placing a soft kiss. "Clean up?"

"Kal." Raavi murmured, turning around in his arms and settling her head under his chin, as he pulled her over him, along with the blankets.

"Chipak rahi hai toh puri chipak jaa, chipku." Shiva chuckled, and just when he thought she was completely asleep, he heard her murmur 'maybe you should welcome me more often'

And he planned on doing exactly that, now that there wasn't the barrier of doors and walls between them.

.....

The next morning, when Raavi walked out of Shiva's room, yawning and stretching her arms, Shashank almost spit out his coffee.

Raavi wriggled her eyebrows at him, and be continuously looked between her mattress, Raavi and the room.

"Tu-"

"Haa." Raavi smiled, knowing what he was going to ask.

"Toh mai noise cancelling earphones khareed lu? Kyunki deewarein toh sound proof nahi hai-"

"SHUT UP, SHASHANK." Raavi threw the table mat at him and stomped away, as he chuckled, immediately followed by a very grumpy, sleepy who looked like he was looking for the very thing that woke him up.

"Aapki mohtarma kitchen mein gayi hai." Gaurav nodded, grabbing his phone. "Waise, Shashank..." He looked at his friend, his eyes glinting in mischief, "Kal raat kuch aawaazein nahi aayi tujhe?"

"Mai wahi toh keh raha tha Raavi se," Shashank winked at him and look at Shiva, who looked horrified at their words, "Noise cancelling headphones khareed ke dena chahiye inhe humein."

"Haa matlab, mere bechare kaanon pe rehem kar lena chahiye na inn dono ko-" Gaurav began to say, and he got a pillow smack to his face, from a very grumpy Shiva who was ready to give him another pillow smack.

"Chup karo, kameeno."

Shashank and Gaurav laughed, high-fiving each other, as they patted his shoulders, "Mere bhai, humne kuch nahi suna, na kuch sunai diya. Taang kheech rahe the bas." Gaurav laughed, and Shashank held Shiva's shoulder with a serious look.

"Dekh, ab tu bada ho gaya," Shashank began, and Shiva rolled his eyes, "tujhe kuch baatein sikhaani padengi. Woh gaana suna hai, hum do ek kamre band ho-"

Shashank got another pillow smack to his face, as Shiva walked away, throwing them the middle finger over his shoulder, leaving them laughing and cackling until they had stitches in their stomach.

.....

Raavi stood up from the bed, groaning and holding her back, searching the drawers for her prescribed medicine or any painkiller, the clock now reading 4 AM.

This was the 3rd time in 2 hours she had woken up from pain, cursing whoever decided to invent such a painful way of letting her know she wasn't pregnant.

She ruffled through the medicines, but couldn't find any painkillers, her strip of tablets lying empty on the dining table.

"Ye dard se marr jaungi, kasam se." Raavi mumbled, walking up to Shiva, who was fast asleep.

"Shiva?" Raavi softly called out to him, nudging his arm.

"Shiva!" She called out a little louder, shaking his arm a bit, and he woke up with a jerk, startled

"Hmm?" He asked, resting his head back on his arm and closing his eyes, going back to sleep.

"Painkillers kaha hai?"

"Wahi drawer mein hogi, Raavi." He waved his hands, eyes not opening a crack.

"Dekha maine, ek bhi nahi hai." Raavi said, and Shiva clicked his tongue.

"Toh khatam ho gaye honge na, chipkali. Kya beech raat ko bakwaas kar rahi hai?" Shiva mumbled, turning to face the other side.

"Please leke aaja na mere liye tablets." Raavi nudged his arm, "Mere cramps sone nahi de rahe hai mujhe, bohot dard ho raha hai."

"Paka mat mujhe, sone de." Shiva muttered, putting a pillow over his head and covering his ears.

"Shiva, please na!"

"Mujhe irritate mat kar, sone de." He said, pulling the blanket over his head, and Raavi stomped her foot in annoyance.

"Mat laa mere liye koi dawai, uske bina hi so jaaungi. Kaddu kahinka." She muttered irritatedly, moving to her side of the bed and sleeping on her stomach, hoping someone would have mercy.

About 10 minutes later, Shiva woke up, rubbing his eyes, with a very vague memory of Raavi asking for some medicines. He thought he had dreamt it, but it was too specific for him to dream about.

"Aye, chipkali." Shiva called out for her softly, tapping her shoulder. "Tujhe koi dawai chahiye thi kya?"

"Chahiye thi. Ab nahi chahiye." Raavi muttered, turning her head to the other side.

"Bata na, leke aa jaata hoon-"

"I don't want any dawai! Just go to sleep!" She snapped, and Shiva ruffled his hair, confused. Until he saw the empty strip of tablets by his bed.

He didn't know which medicine it was, he tried to read the name, but the silver backing of the strip was torn off and the name was only half visible.

So he put whatever he could read onto Google and selected the first option.

Cyclopam:

Cyclopam is a medicine prescribed for abdominal pain and cramps. This combination drug consists of dicyclomine and paracetamol. These provide relief from muscle spasms and contractions that cause stomach pain. Cyclopam is also effective in treating pain during menstrual cramps.

He looked at his screen, and then back at Raavi, who's face was now contorted in irritation, from what he could make out.

His eyes softened at her, as he shoved the strip into his pocket and grabbed his wallet and keys, to go the nearest medical store.

About 12 minutes later, he walked into their room with a bag in his hand, to her side of the bed , the medicine strip in the other hand, kneeling down on the floor in front of her.

"Oye," Shiva said softly, tucking her hair behind her ears, "dawai khaa le."

"Nahi chahiye mujhe koi dawai. Tune hi kaha ki mai tujhe paka rahi hu, ab tu mujhe paka mat." Raavi curled on her side, facing him as she held her lower abdomen with both her arms.

"Please dawai khaa le na-"

"Nahi. Tu pehle nahi leke aaya na, ab nahi chahiye mujhe. Kaddu kahinka. Uske bina bhi so sakti hu main, rakh apne paas-" Raavi complained, pinching the bedsheets under her as another cramp shot through her lower body.

"I'm sorry." Shiva placed a hand on her waist under her t-shirt, drawing gentle circles with his thumb, "I'm sorry, sweetheart." He kissed her arm, and the frown across her eyebrows eased a little bit.

"Bohot dard ho raha hai?" He whispered, moving his hand to trace her cheekbone gently, and she opened her eyes to look at him, and if she wasn't distracted, he'd be dead meat in this second.

"Mhmm." Raavi nodded, sniffling. "Aisa lag raha hai koi mere organs ko reng kar nichod raha hai."

Shiva kissed her temple and caressed her hair, "Mai teri dawai yaha rakh raha hoon," He said, placing the medicine on her side desk, "jab tera mann kare, khaa lena. Aise hi mat so jaana, koi superman banne ki zaroorat nahi hai, okay?"

Saying so, he got up and laid down on the bed, pulling the blanket over him and turning to his side, to now face Raavi's back.

Raavi cracked an eye open, and looked over her shoulder at a sleeping Shiva, and considered having the tablet.

But now she was an adamant child, and she wanted to prove to him that-

Another cramp shot across her body, and she decided to scratch that idea, grabbing the tablet and a glass of water, gulping down the tablet.

Raavi noticed the bag that he brought along with him, and peeked inside, to find a packet of pads, exactly the type she preferred, a heating pad and ice cream that he forgot to keep in the freezer.

He didn't have to know that she already had stocked up on her essentials, because it was the thought that counted. So she took the tub of ice cream and kept it in the freezer, and kept the rest of the items in the bathroom drawer.

She sat at the edge of the bed, and then laid down on her back, arm over her forehead, a slight relief spreading across her face when she could finally feel the medicine working and the cramps lessening.

Now that she was less moody, she turned to look at Shiva, who had a pout as he snored in his sleep.

"Shiva?" Raavi poked his arm, and he hummed in response, looking at her with eyes half open.

As if he read her mind, he raised one arm with the blanket, like he was waiting for her to shift into his arms, and she gladly did so with a smile on her face, settling her back against his chest and cuddling closer to him.

Shiva smiled, before putting his over her, making them a burrito in a blanket, as he kissed the back of her head and she finally slept peacefully, courtesy of the medicine and his warm palms against her stomach.

.....

The next morning, Shiva nudged Raavi's arm slightly, and she opened her eyes groggily.

"Mai nikal raha hu, theek hai?"

Raavi sat up, rubbing her eyes and yawning, "Kaha jaa raha hai itni subah?"

"Aaj tournament ka pehla match hai na?" Shiva said, slinging his cricket kit over his shoulder, "Toh practise, strategy sab discuss karna hai."

"Arre haa!" Raavi exclaimed, then pouted, "Tune kaha tha ki mai tera pehla match dekhne aau na? Sorry."

"Usmein kya hai?" Shiva shrugged, leaving the stadium pass on her desk. "Ye pass sambhal ke rakh, tu koi bhi match dekhne aa sakti hai iske saath."

He patted her cheeks, and proceeded to leave when she called out to him, standing up and tying her hair in a loose bun, "Tune kuch khaaya? Kuch bana du tere liye? Mujhe uthaya kyu nahi?"

"Tu bohot chain se so rahi thi, jagane ka mann nahi kiya. Jaldi uth gaya toh sab ke liye breakfast bana diya. Tere liye bhi dhakkan laga ke rakha hai, khaa le baadme." Shiva informed her, and she walked out of the room behind him into the living room, watching him wear his shoes.

"Kitne baje hai match?"

"4 baje. Par tujhse ho nahi raha, toh it's okay. Next match mein aaja!" He smiled, tying up his shoelaces.

"All the best!" Raavi smiled sleepily, rubbing her eyes, very evident that she wanted to sleep some more.

"So jaa, chipkali. Neend tapak rahi hai tere aankhon se." Shiva waved, and closed the door behind him, as Raavi flopped onto the bed to catch some more sleep, staring at the pass by her bedside.

.....

"Arnav, you open the match with Yash, baaki the order will be the same. Come on, we can do this, alright?" Shiva clapped, and spoke to his team, as they cheered and threw hands in, feeling good about the first match of the season.

A knock on the dressing room door interrupted them as a tiny head poked in through the gap.

"Shiva?" Raavi called out, and Shiva looked pleasantly surprised to see her, as the rest of his team hooted and hollered behind him.

Raavi gestured him to come outside for 2 minutes, and he stepped outside, ignoring all the teasing from his team.

"Tu yaha?" He smiled, holding her hand.

"Pehla match tha tera, I had to come." Raavi dusted the mud dirt off his shoulders.

"Par tujhe yaha aane kisne diya?" Shiva looked around for any security that caught her coming here.

"Guard uncle se thoda acche se baat kya kar liya, unhone mujhe immediately jaane diya. But only 2 minutes." Raavi snickered, showing him the pass that hung around her neck, and Shiva shook his head, muttering 'gadhedi' under his breath.

"Par tu toh-"

"Meri tension mat le, I'm perfectly fine, that's why I'm here!" Raavi posed with her hands, and Shiva chuckled, pulling her in for a hug, whispering a 'thank you' in her ears.

"Okay, I have to go. All the best. Aag laga de pitch par." Raavi kissed him, before sneaking out of the common room towards her seats.

....

The last over of the match, anything can happen, it could go either way, as the-

Raavi tuned out the commentary as she stared at the pitch, the score on the board being 158-5, 12 runs for 2 balls as the batsmen now ran for 2.

Shiva was now on strike, the camera zooming in on his form, and Raavi stood up from her seat nervously.

The bowler tossed a yorker towards his feet, and he scooped it up in the air for a smashing six!

Raavi cheered and hooted from the stands, as he marked his half century with that boundary, raising his bat towards the audience, bumping gloves with his fellow batsman, and taking his spot at the crease again.

6 runs in 1 ball.

It was a difficult one. Nearly impossible with the way the bowler was bowling yorkers, with the clear intent on clean bowling the batsman.

Shiva closed his eyes, breathed in an out, judging the bowler's stance. He held the ball between his fingers, which made it look like he was going for a spin-ball. But Shiva had observed his bowling through out the match to know he wasn't going to spin the ball, he would go for a bouncer last minute, so that he'd miss the ball and score no runs.

So when the bowler took his stance and tossed the ball exactly as Shiva predicted, he swung his bat over his head hard, for a huge six that hit the floodlights.

Cheers of victory erupted all around, since this was the first time their university had ever qualified for the games and won. The entire team along with the university students cheered, as the players congratulated each other and left the ground in high spirits.

After winding up the ceremonies and interviews, when the team was walking back to the common room to pack their bags and freshen up, an arm reached out for Shiva and pulled him out and away from the team, behind a pillar.

"Kya-" He began to say, but a tiny palm covered his mouth, backing him into the pillar.

"Mai hoon." Raavi whispered, lowering her hand. "Congratulations, you played so well, Shiva! Kitna accha laga mujhe bolne ko, ki woh dekho, that's my Shiva on the field."

Shiva chuckled, pulling her in for a hug, but she pulled back. "Shiva, you're sweaty!"

He tugged her forward by her wrist gazing into her eyes, "Uss din toh problem nahi thi?"

"Abhi hai!" Raavi crinkled her nose, as he pulled her into his arms and she squirmed, making him laugh. "Shiva no, cheeee! Chod mujhe!" Raavi complained and chuckled, as Shiva hugged her closer.

"Accha waise," He wrapped his arms around her waist, as she slapped his shoulder lightly for annoying her, "Tu yaha aayi kaise?"

"Apni scooty pe!" She cheerily said, and Shiva furrowed his eyebrows.

"Scooty? Tere paas kabse aayi scooty?"

"Aaj se." Raavi removed the keys from her bag and clinked it in front of his eyes, "Maasi aur Mausapa ne laake di hai, birthday ke liye."

Shiva nodded, processed her statement, and widened his eyes in horror, before shaking his head in relief. "Par aaj tera birthday..... Nahi hai na?"

"Nahi hai, par agle hafte toh hai na. Toh maasi ne scooty laake di, travelling ke liye and all. It's not new," Raavi put the keys back in her bag, "but it doesn't feel like it's not new. Dil se diya hai maasi aur mausapa ne."

"New scooty and all, hmm?" Shiva smirked pinching her nose, "Good for you, jaan. Par tujhe scooty chalani aati hai?"

"Haa, of course! License bhi hai, Somnath mein scooty chalati thi apne dosto ki." Raavi smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Also, jaan?"

"Obviously." He grinned, kissing her cheek. "I'll be home later, tu dhyaan se jaana, okay?"
