I approached Cameron with a sour face.

"What's up, Cookie?" He greeted me with a sly smirk.

I looked everywhere but his eyes. "Do you want to... You know? ... Go out? With me?"

I checked his face and he wore a very surprised look.

"Wait, are you serious?" He asked and I nodded.

He shook his head and smirked. "I knew you'd come around. No lady can deny this," he gestured to his body and I rolled my eyes.

"Could we go now?" I asked.

His eyes widened. "You were serious serious? I mean, yeah of course we can go now," he spluttered.

"My ah—my car is over there in the parking lot. Unless you want to stay here or something-" he stuttered.

"Cameron," I sent him a small smile. "Relax."

"Alright, okay," he nodded. "I guess we should get going on that date."

"Yeah," I drawled. "That date."
