🔹Yesterday, suddenly, tanks and bulldozers approached the western gate of Kamal Adwan Hospital under heavy fire directed towards the hospital and its departments. The bullets penetrated the intensive care unit, the maternity ward, and the specialized surgery department.  Fortunately, we had evacuated the patients to the hospital corridors, but some bullets exploded inside the wards, creating fear and panic among the patients.

🔹In addition, one of the generators was targeted, which completely put it out of service due to the fire. There were also attempts to target the fuel tank, but fortunately, it did not explode.

🔹Currently, we have 91 patients in the hospital, including the elderly, children and women. We are still providing the minimum services.

🔹We have asked the international community for protection and humanitarian assistance, and we have demanded the opening of humanitarian corridors to bring in what is needed.
