⭕️ In light of the dangerous escalation witnessed by the city of Jenin and its camp, and the continued blatant aggression of the Palestinian Authority's apparatuses against our steadfast people in the camp, we in the Media Committee present to local and international public opinion the following developments:

1. Systematic escalation of aggression:

The pace of armed clashes has intensified during the past hours, as the Authority's apparatuses have targeted citizens' homes with shells, including the use of (RPG) missiles and Energa shells, which led to the destruction of homes over the heads of their residents, and the injury of many civilians with serious injuries.

2. Serious Humanitarian Violations:
The city of Jenin and its camp are subjected to systematic violations that have affected the daily lives of citizens, most notably:

• The suffocating siege has continued for 39 days, including preventing the movement of citizens, cutting off electricity and water, and turning civilian homes into military points.

• Targeting hospitals and medical staff, as Ibn Sina Hospital was stormed, the wounded were arrested, and paramedics were assaulted.

• A number of civilians were injured by bullets from the PA security forces, including the young woman Rimas Ataya, who was shot directly.

• Random shooting at civilian homes and turning residential neighborhoods into battlefields, in clear violation of international humanitarian law.

3. Targeting journalists and free voices:
In a blatant attack on press freedom, journalist Jarrah Khalaf was tortured for covering the events in Jenin. He was charged with false charges, including possessing a weapon and filming press conferences for the resistance, in a clear attempt to silence and suppress the truth.

📌We, in the Media Committee in Jenin Camp, emphasize the following:

• Holding the Palestinian Authority fully responsible for the crimes committed against our people in Jenin.

• Demanding the local community and human rights institutions to intervene urgently to stop the humanitarian violations and escalating aggression on Jenin Camp.

• Calling on the national and Islamic factions and all the sons of the Palestinian people to unite ranks and stop this criminal aggression.

• Warning the Authority's apparatuses against continuing their repressive policies, stressing that the will of resistance is stronger than all conspiracies.
