4 [vent]

the rain softly pattered on the car window as minko looked out, the bumpy road making the long car ride worse than it was supposed to be. minko softly blinked at the falling rain.

perhaps the sky was crying for them. silly, minko thought. it is incapable of feeling, knowing about me. knowing who i was and who i am.

the car stopped slowly as it reached its destination. minko didn't look up. minko didnt respond. minko knew what was coming.

"get out." said him. minko did as told.

"are you sure about this, minko?" asked him. minko nodded. "yes." they replied, voice soft and silky, as it ever was.

minko faces the rolling cliff below. the spruce trees covered the area head to toe. minko took a deep breath. he shuffled in place. for once, minko admired the beauty in the landscape. how chilling and lovely it was. no one but they could understand it.

no one.

"im ready." minko said after a long time, gripping the cloth in their hand. slowly, they took the cloth and put it around their eyes, the world turning black before them. the wonderful senses of before minko opened their eyes to dawn's unwelcoming rays.

they said nothing as he walked forward, each step echoing down the cliff. "minko." he said. "you'll be happier here."

minko understood. minko never thought twice.

the gun clicked once.

the gunshot echoed, but minko did not.

minko was in paradise.
