Kageyama and Hinata were meeting up at the subway to go watch a Volleyball game together. It was an adults match so they didn't know anyone but they still decided to go and watch it.

They had asked everyone in their team if they could join them but everyone was already busy and had plans so it left them alone.

"Okay Kageyama, I'm here, where are you at?" Hinata asked over his phone as he leaned up against a wall in the subway.

He already had his and Kageyama's tickets and was just waiting for him to show up.

"I'm almost there, give me five minutes and I will be there." Kageyama replied on the other end of the line.

"Okay, see you then!" Hinata said hearing a "Yep, bye." before the call ended.

Hinata looked around and saw an older guy walking up to him.

"Hello~ You know that it isn't very safe down here all alone. How about you stay by me until you get where you need to go?" The man asked instantly giving Hinata creep vibes.

"Oh no thank you. I will be fine, I appreciate the offer though." Hinata replied as he took a step away from the man, his eyes quickly scanning over the crowded subway for anyone that could help him if anything were to go wrong. Sadly he didn't see anyone that looked like they were paying any attention.

"Are you sure? Some people could do something to you and you would be left to defend yourself all alone with out me." The man attempted to persuade as he took another step towards Hinata.

By now Hinata was starting to panic.

"I'm positive, thank you for your offer but I will be fine." He replied hoping that this man would just go away.

The man's face turned bitter as he lunged towards Hinata, grabbing his hands and pinning them above his head on the wall.

Hinata let out a loud scream in hopes that someone would hear him and help but nobody paid him any mind.

"Be quiet you little bitch or I'm going to have to punish you." The man growled as he moved one of his hands down to Hinata's ass groping him.

Hinata's eyes widened before he lifted his leg and kneed the man as hard as he could in his gut.

The man doubled over in pain but kept a tight grip on Hinata's hands.

"You BITCH!" He yelled as he glared at Hinata who looked even more scared that he did before.

"You're going to pay for that!" He said as he stood up again still clearly in pain.

Just as he was reaching up to grab Hinata's throat, a fist collided with his jaw knocking him down and away from Hinata.

Both Hinata and the man looked over at who had punched him at the same time.

"KAGEYAMA!" Hinata yelled as he hugged the boy tightly.

"Are you okay? Did this man hurt you?" Kageyama asked as he took his phone out and took a photo of the man so he could show it to the police.

"Yes he did." Hinata replied as he tightened his grip on the hug, his head being buried into the taller's chest.

Kageyama wrapped his arms around Hinata as he looked down at the man.

"I will be telling the police about you and I have a photo of you so expect to spend a long time in jail. Also if you try anything on either of us right now I do know how to fight and I will not hold back." Kageyama stated as he death glared the man.

The man glared back and got up before running away from the two.

Kageyama watched him run off before he heard a quiet sob quickly bringing his attention to the crying Hinata in his arms.

"Where did he hurt you?" He asked as he pulled mostly out of the hug so he could look at Hinata better.

"Well he slammed me up against the wall by my wrists and he groped me and I think he was going to choke me if you hadn't come over here." Hinata said between sobs and hiccups.

"I knew I shouldn't have let you come alone. We should have met up at my house so we could come here together." Kageyama muttered bitterly as he brought Hinata into another hug.

He started saying sweet nothingness into the smaller boys ears in an attempt to calm him down.

After a few minutes Hinata had calmed down and stopped crying yet he was still shaken up over what happened.

"Come on, let's get to the police here and tell them what happened so it won't happen to anyone else." Kageyama said as he pulled out of the hug.

"O-okay." Hinata replied as he grabbed Kageyama's hand so they wouldn't get separated in the crouded area.

The two made their way to the small police office in the Subway in a silence, the only sound being the talk of people around them.

Once they reached the office they walked up to one of the officers.

"This man is a sexual preditor to minors and needs to be arrested. He has sexually harassed my friend here and if I hadn't come over to them then I don't even want to imagen what would have happened." Kageyama stated as he showed the photo of the man to the officer.

The officer's eyes widened slightly as they took a photo of the man on their own phone before writing down all of the information Kageyama had given him.

"We will take care of this immediately, thank you for telling us." The officer said before rushing off to a different officer.

"Do we still have time to get to the Volleyball game?" Hinata asked making Kageyama look down at him.

"If we leave now then yes." He answered after checking his watch.

So the two ran to their subway train and got on right before the doors closed.

It was very crouded so Kageyama did the most reasonable thing. He grabbed onto one of the handles that hung from the ceiling before pulling Hinata into a hug.



Hinata hugged back (^) because he couldn't reach the hook and tightened his grip when the train started to move.

The two eventually made it to the game and git good seats.

They picked up on some new strategies that they would try layer on and eventually had to go back home.

*When they are on the way home*

"Do you want to have a sleepover at my house? I mean it's getting late and my house is closer?" Hinata asked as he swung their hands imbetween them.

"If your parents won't mind then sure." Kageyama replied with a small smile.

"Yay!" Hinata cheered loudly with a large grin.

*When they are at Hinata's house*

"Mom! Kageyama and I are back!" Hinata called through the house.

"Kageyama and you? Are you staying the night Kageyama?" Mrs.Hinata asked as she walked into the room.

"If you don't mind then yes but if you do mind then I can leave." Kageyama replied with a slight bow.

"Oh that's fine I was just wondering. Also Natsu is at a friend's house for the night so it will just be us three tonight." She replied as Kageyama stood back up.

"Okay mom! Well I'm tired so we are probably going to just go to sleep." Hinata replied getting a nod back.

So Kageyama and Hinata walked up to Hinata's bedroom where they quickly got ready for bed.

Kageyama had spent the night so many times that he had a pair of spare clothes at Hinata's house.

"Can we cuddle?" Hinata asked as he flopped down onto his bed.

"Um? Sure?" Kageyama replied as he layed onto the bed next to Hinata.

Hinata cuddled up to him, his arms going around his torso and there legs tangling together.

"Thank you again for what you did today at the subway." Hinata whispered from his place on Kageyama's chest.

"Anytime, nobody is going to do that to anyone I know and get away with it." Kageyama replied as he tightened his grip slightly.

Hibata hummed as he cuddled closer to him.

"I don't think I've ever seen you that mad before. Not even when I hit you in the back of the head with a Volleyball." Hinata mumbled now half asleep.

"Well its because that man was sexually harassing you! If you hadn't hugged me then I would have beat him up! I fucking hate people like him." Kageyama ranted feeling Hinata smile against his shoulder.

"Your cute when your protective." Hinata said softly making Kageyama blush brightly, not that you could see it in the dimly lit room.

"I- um...thank you?" He replied not used to getting compliments that weren't Volleyball related.

"Sorry was that weird? I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." Hinata asked suddenly regretting his compliment.

"No, I'm not uncomfortable I just don't know how to take a compliment." Kageyama replied with a slight chuckle causing Hinata to giggle.

"Oh okay." He replied before his eyelids started to become heavy.

Soon enough Kageyama thought he had fallen asleep.

"Goodnight, love you Boke." He mumbled before closing his eyes.

"Love you too Baka." Hinata mumbled making Kageyama stiffen before relaxing again.

"So does that mean you will be my boyfriend?" Kageyama asked accidentally letting some hope slip through his tone.

"Yes!" Hinata said while sitting up. He quickly pecked Kageyama's cheek before falling back onto his chest, falling asleep for real this time.

"Your going to be the death of me." Kageyama chuckled before slowly falling asleep himself.
