Rays POV

I woke up still in the hospital with Mikey. I looked down at him, seeing that he had his head on my chest. I smile until I remember that I almost lost him. I wrap my arms around him tightly, feeling his breathing. I heard my phone make a noise, probably from the group chat.

*In group chat*

VicDic: is Mikey doing ok?

princessfro: yeah, he should be able to get out later today, but he is on suicide watch meaning he can't be left alone

KellyBear: I don't think you or Gee is going to be leaving him alone anytime soon

frnkoero: probably not

gayway: who do you think I am?

milkyway: hey guys...

[Dan]: MIKEY

KellyBear: How are you?

VicDic: is everything okay

breadbin: are YOU okay????

rynomilk: guys calm the fuck down

milkyway: I'm doing good.... I guess

daddydal: what does that mean?

milkyway: I'm sorry...

crybabyMel: Mikey you have nothing to be sorry about

Tyjo: we should be the ones apologizing for not seeing the signs sooner

milkyway: but I caused you guys to hurt...

Halsey: that doesn't mean anything, yeah you did cause all of our hearts to break, but you're alive and that's what matters

Jish: Hal's is right Mikey

milkyway: I don't deserve you guys...

purdy: don't say that

gazelle: Mikey you're a great person, you just felt like no one understood you

tallgoth: Mikey you manage to show everyone kindness even if they're assholes who don't deserve it

*Back to irl and Mikey's POV*

"I love you Mikey and the thought of loosing you makes me want to break down. You mean the entire world to me. I would hold up the sky for you! So don't you ever think you don't deserve the people you have in your life!" Ray says looking me straight in the eyes. I sigh and lay back on the bed, looking up at the ceiling, "But look at the pain I almost caused you guys! It was selfish of me to try and kill myself over something as stupid as a teacher yelling at me..." I say trailing off. Ray grabs my shoulders and brings me back into a sitting position. "With what you've said Mrs. Rose was telling you, I don't blame you Mikey, plus you felt like no body understood you in that moment and that death was your only escape, but it isn't and that's why you're still alive! So you can prove to everyone who doesn't believe in you that you can defy what they think!" He says, his voice cracking.

He sits in the bed next to me and pulls me into his chest. I snuggle closer and close my eyes. I hear him start softly singing.
