****RECAP**** Will stopped midair. I bet that Will's own shocked expression mirrored my own before the same bundle of branches hit my smack dab in the chest.************** Enjoy guys.

I felt the air rush out my lungs and my body being flung into the air. My chest stung from the marks that Thing's barbed branches left on me. I flailed my arms trying to right myself and establish some state of stability. I felt my body thud into a familiar orange surface. 

I slowly took in my situation try to get over the disorientation of flying through the air. I was in one of Kevin's bubbles and was slowly descending to the ground. As soon as my feet hit the ground I took off running and crouched behind a boulder near the tree line. I peeked around the edge to assess the situation.

Kendal was still ensnared in Thing's limbs, Jason had managed to shrink and slip out of those vines, and was now zipping around its head trying to distract it. Tara was taking and absorbing hits from those bundles of limbs and using the kinetic force against it, Kelly was throwing illusions but it didn't seem to be doing much. 

Kevin and a now earthbound Will were double teaming, using Will's scorching beams and Kevin's shields to their advantage. Kevin was hurling baseball sized spheres pummeling it relentlessly. Seeing this gave me a burst of inspiration as I eyed the boulder next to me.

I braced my feet in the sand, prepared my mind, holding my arms out towards the boulder. I focused on that feeling I felt in my hands eyes, the desperation helped fuel my efforts. I felt the tingle start in my eyes and after a few moments I started to feel throughout my body. I reached out to the boulder, wrapping my telekinetic hold around it, straining under its weight at first, I continued to lift in higher and higher until it was over my head.

I paused for a second, panting from the exertion I realized that my nose and eyes were leaking what I assumed was blood from the metallic smell. Get out of the way! I pushed the boulder and slugged it forward, falling to my knees, finally free from that weight. It sailed through the air and crashed into the Thing, pulling it deeper into the water. The front legs flailed in the air, until completely disappeared underneath the churning water.

We all gathered along the edge of the water, nerves on edge, waiting to see if the "Thing" would resurface. I looked over all of us, the six of us were dirty, bruised and beat up, but relived that it was all finally over. Wait SIX! "WAIT GUYS, WHERE'S KENDAL?! DID ANYONE SEE HER GET CLEAR?!" I shouted. My chest tightened at the thought of us losing one of our own. We haven't even gotten close to end and we already down one member.
