Minh's POV:

We move forward till the east gate to see that the defenders were getting slaughtered one be one by the bandits. We decide as a team to stay in the shadows until the bandits get very close to our position. Then we strike and leave back to Itami's position.

Back at Ginza, Tokyo

Third Person POV:

Hazama: 3rd Recon has received a request from the city of Italica's representative, Pina Co Lada, to provide support for local peacekeeping operations. They are requesting additional support.

The commanders all request that their units be sent to Italica.

Colonel Kamo: Please let me handle this!

Colonel Tsuge: Combat Team 1 has finished forming up and is ready to go at any time!

Colonel Kamo: No.

Colonel Kengun: It'll take too long to get there by ground! Lieutenant General, please pick Combat Team 4/401st!

Lieutenant Colonel Youga: We've the stereo, the loudspeakers, and the Wagner CD is ready to go!

Colonel Kengun: Perfect, Lieutenant Colonel Youga!

Lieutenant Colonel Youga: Thank you sir!

Hazama: Combat Team 4/401st will go. What we need right now is speed. So that's a sensible choice to make.

Hazama talks to himself.

Hazama: Are they possessed by the ghost of Lieutenant Colonel Kilgore? I can guess exactly what's going to happen now...

The UH-1 Huey helicopters of Combat Team 4 get ready to make their way to the combat zone.

East Gate, Italica, Special Region (KVĐB), nighttime, 0358 Hrs.

Norma: Defend this area with your lives! This is our last stand!

A bandit comes rushing in, but gets knoked out by Norma, only for Norma to get stabbed behind by another bandit.

Bandit #1: The enemy commander has been slain! Listen up men! Now this is war! The murder and death we sought at Alnus, which our fallen fellows never saw!

The bandits all cry their battle cries.

Bandit #1: We will kill the enemy and then we shall die, satisfied! That shall be our hymn to Emroy, the god of war!

A militiaman yells in the distance.

Militiaman: The knight Norma has been slain!

Hamilton: Norma...

Pina clutches her fists

Militiaman: The east gate has fallen! Civilians have entered combat! They're requesting reinforcements.

Pina: We have none to send!

Back to Hunter Team:

Minh's POV

A/N: Music starts at 0:16

Ghost Lead: Okay Ghosts, its time to go loud.

We move forward under the cover of darkness to near the bandits to surprise them.

Ghost Lead: On you mark Lieutenant.

I wait for 10 seconds.

Me: Engage.

We all uncloak and the Hammer drone starts firing its M61 Vulcan at the bandits decimating them. The bandits were then in shock and awe and started to try to fight back.

Ghost Lead: Engaging enemies!

Our HUD changes to engaged and we begin firing at the bandits, with them going down easily.

Me: Kozak, toss a frag and smoke in there!

Kozak tosses a frag, killing several bandits and then tosses a smoke covering our way.

Ghost Lead: Kozak, Lê, use that fallen table as cover! (points to a fallen table)

Me and Kozak: Roger sir!

We move to the fallen table, running and gunning enemies as we go.

Me: Hostiles amassing at the rally point!

All 5 of us eventually reach the fallen table as we and the Hammer drone were decimating enemy waves going against us. I then spot the enemy commander and yell to Pepper.

Me: Pepper, there's the enemy commander, snipe him will ye?!

Pepper: Roger sir.

Pepper then uses the suppressed M110 to snipe the enemy commander, with the rest of the bandits running in disarray.

Kozak: You can run but you can't hide!

I spot a few enemy archers and use my ACOG to snipe them from afar, using semi-auto to conserve my bullets.

Me: Enemy archers down!

Ghost Lead: Kozak, Lê, light 'em up!

Kozak and I get out our shoulder missiles and fired on the retreating enemies. By the time we were done, there were no survivors.

Ghost Lead: Status report?!

Kozak: Clear!

30K: Clear!

Pepper: Clear!

Me: Clear!

Ghost Lead: All enemies destroyed, time to disappear.

Me: We're already gone.

Me (to Itami): Did you see it all?

Itami: HOLY SH*T, HOW DID A 5 MAN TEAM DESTROY 200 SOLDIERS IN A SPAN OF 10 MINUTES?!

Matsumoto: WHAT THE F*CK WAS THAT POWER?! NEVER HAVE I SEEN IT IN MY LIFE!

Kuribayashi: Sir, what was that and...how?

Me: Hacks.

Ghost Lead: So now what Lieutenant?

Me: Well, I guess we disappear and go back to 3rd Recon.

Ghost Lead: Good thing.

We start to move back to the South Gate in the mist of darkness.

Pina's POV:

I saw that we were on the verge of defeat, only for the same mysterious team we saw earlier and the Lieutenant to save us all.

I then recount the battle. All it took for 5 men to defeat an army of 200 was 10 minutes. 10! I was in disbelief.

Hamilton: Princess, it was the same mysterious guys we saw earlier who were not in green!

Me: Impossible, we never called for reinforcements! How did they get here so fast?!

Hamilton: I don't know Princess..

I hear one of the mysterious men stay something.

???(Ghost Lead, A/N: foreign language for Pina): All enemies destroyed, time to disappear.

The Lieutenant (Minh): We're already gone.

Then I saw they all disappeared as if they were never here. Maybe it was because of their technology.

Grey: They..had so much power on their hands.

The militiamen were all still in shock.

Militiaman #1: I'm glad that they're our allies, but...how?

Militiaman #2: It was probably because of the weapons on their hands.

Militiaman #1: What sorcery we saw.

Militiaman #2: Plus their language. Never have I ever heard it before.

Back to 3rd Recon

Rory screams out in pain.

Itami: Kuribayashi!

Kuribayashi: Yes, sir?!

Itami: Sorry, but could you stay with Rory? Sergeant Kurokawa, take care of the rest!

Kurokawa: Roger!

Kuribayashi rushes over to Rory.

Kuribayashi: Rory, we're going, just hang in there for a bit longer.

Rory started to get up with her weapon and run to the east gate.

Kuwabara (lifts his goggle up): Wow, she's fast.

Itami: We're going after her, hurry!

Itami gets out the radio.

Itami (radio): Hunter 0-2, this is 3-1 here. Rory is headed your way, stay in your positions!

Minh: Hunter 0-2 reads, over and out.

Itami: Start the vehicle!

Part of 3rd Recon rushes in and they all zoom off.

Itami: 401st, this is 3rd Recon. The enemy has been engaged at the east gate. Hunter Team stopped the first wave, but there's going to be a second wave coming that way. We will be marking the target with a flare. Over!

401st: 401st reads, over.

Itami: Watch out on the ground as well, we've got Americans on the ground!

401st: Yes sir!

With the 401st Calvary

The 401st are in their helicopters and are approaching the combat zone.

401st Pilot: We'll reach the mission zone in 5 minutes sir.

Lieutenant Colonel Youga: Got it.

Lieutenant Colonel Youga turns to Colonel Kengun.

Lieutenant Colonel Youga: Reports indicate that fighting is about to the restart at the east gate sir.

Colonel Kengun: What happened to the first wave?

Lieutenant Colonel Youga: The Americans have already dealt with them.

Colonel Kengun: Head for 10 o'clock. All units move into attack positions!

Lieutenant Colonel Youga: Roger.

Colonel Kengun relays the order to the other helis.

Colonel Kengun: All units move into attack positions! Watch out for our unit and the American unit on the ground!

Other units: Yes sir!

Colonel Kengun: We'll sweep in with the rising sun on our backs. The Lieutenant Colonel can handle the rest. Start the music!

Other units: Yes sir!

A/N: "Ride of the Valkyries" starts here

Both the Cobra attack helicopters and the Hueys start to get into formation. The men inside the Hueys load their weapons in anticipation of the assault. A soldier inside one of helicopters starts to sit on his helmet.

401st Soldier #1: Why do you all you guys sit on your helmets?

401st Soldier #2: So that we don't get our balls blown off!

Back to 3rd Recon

The part of 3rd Recon is still in their vehicle speeding off to the east side of Italica

Itami: Kuribayashi!

Kuribayashi: Right?

Itami takes off Minh's ENVG-B goggles.

Itami: Take off your V8 NVG.

Kuribayashi: Why?

Tomita: You always break them.

Kuribayashi: I do not!

Itami: It's dawn and we don't need it anymore. If you don't want to get yelled at, just take them off.

Itami (thinking): I should probably return this back to Lieutenant Lê in a few minutes.

Itami fires from his flare gun, signaling the 401st where to attack.

Back to Hunter Team

Minh's POV:

Looks like the bandits have started their second wave and started massacring the civilians one by one. We remain cloaked until we see Rory and the rest of 3rd Recon.

Bandit leader: Kill them all!

We see Rory running in the distance, then as she swooped down, she surprised the bandits and started crushing them one by one. I then sneak behind one of the unsuspecting bandits and silently shot him.

Me: You're dead.

Bandit: What?! (gets shot silently by my M27)

Other bandits: Who was that? Show yourselves.

I start to haunt the bandits.

Me: We will never show ourselves. Believe in Ghosts. We strike and then we're gone. (I laugh evilly)

The other bandits begin to wrath in fear of both us and Rory.

Bandit #1: There are Ghosts here too?

Bandit #2: No kidding! Rumor has it that 5 men destroyed the first wave that was sent and disappeared again back into the night!

Bandit Leader: Nonsense! Push forward!

They push forward very foolishly and start to get pummeled by Rory when she stops and then both bandits and militiamen look up to see that the Calvary has arrived.

Ghost Lead: Looks like the rest of the JSDF arrived just in time. Remain in opical camo until 3rd Recon reaches us.

Hunter Team and me: Yes sir!

401st outside the east gate

Third Person POV:

A/N: "Ride of the Valklries" ends here.

One of the 401st missiles hit the bandits surrounding Rory and annihilated them in a single blast. The Cobra then fired its missiles and chaingun at the bandits. Meanwhile the choppers were doing the sweep outside the gate, killing the bandits as they tried to escape.

401st Commander: All units, this is Oscar 1. We've got friendlies inside the gate. Restrict you fire to the outside.

The 401st kept firing at the bandits with all they got with one soldier tossing a frag into an unsuspecting group, killing them all.

Air Defense Bandit #1: Give me your spear!

Air Defense Bandit #2: Okay!

A Cobra came circling in on the AA weapon.

Cobra Pilot (Hunter 1, not to be confused with Hunter Team): AA weapon on the wall. They're still loading.

Colonel Kengun: Hunter 1, you are clear to engage the target.

Cobra Pilot/Hunter 1: Hunter 1, roger.

The Cobra then shreds the AA weapon and the men manning it to pieces.

Colonel Kengun: Well done! When we get back, I'll buy you beer!

Another 401st soldier is gunning down the bandits in his sight with almost pinpoint accuracy on semi automatic fire.

401st Soldier: Proper sighting. Proper leading (kills a bandit). Proper positioning. (aims at another bandit but misses). Bring it straight down!  (kills the bandit he missed).

Meanwhile the Hueys are spraying down MG fire and some of the Hueys make it inside the city walls with Cobras bombing the outside.

Back on the south side

Tuka: Look at all those explosions. Is that magic, too?

Lelei: Impossible.

Kurokawa looks at Lelei and asks where they're going.

Kurokawa: Hey! Where are you going?

Lelei: To get a closer look.

Back to the 401st

Another Cobra sprays missiles at the bandits fleeing and destroys them in a few shots with explosions ringing out.

Bandit Archer: Dammit! (gets gunned down by the Hueys)

The scene changes back to Rory.

Bandit Leader: The Priestess of Emroy?

Back to Hunter Team

Minh's POV:

Some of 3rd Recon arrived just in time after the initial shock and awe operation of the rest of the JSDF. We uncloak to greet them.

Me (to Kuribayashi): Boo!

Kuribayashi: Ahhh! (gets scared and tries to point rifle at me) Oh...it's just you Lieutenant, sir.

Me: Jeez, no need to get scared of some guy who can cloak. Anyways I going to get the little "gift" out.

While I get the "gift" Hunter Team and Itami are discussing battle plans. Once I bring it out, only 3rd Recon is in awe of my "gift" (the Pecheneg MG by the way)

Itami and Tomita: Is that a-

Me: PKP 6P41 Pecheneg, Russian Medium Machine Gun (MMG). Chambered in the Russian intermediate round 7.62x54mmR.

Itami yells out to the Kuribayashi and Tomita.

Itami: Fix bayonets!

Kuribayashi and Tomita fix bayonets onto their rifles. Once they were both done, Kuribayashi does a battle cry and charges to Rory's position. I follow in behind her.

Me: That's right Kuribayashi! XUNG PHONG! (CHARGE!)

I hear Itami and Tomita and the rest of Hunter Team in the distance.

Itami: Those idiots..

Ghost Lead: Hunter Team, Itami, Tomita, cover their 6!

Hunter Team, Tomita, and Itami: Yes sir!

Ghost Lead: Get ready....fire!

When I run up to where Kuribayashi is, Rory is absolutely murdering them in droves. When a big bandit tries to run up behind Rory, Kuribayashi stabs him with her bayonet and fires a burst into him, killing the damn bandit. I provide suppressing fire right behind her.

Me: Kuribayashi, form up around me!

Kuribayashi: Yes sir!

I see that a few bandits try to rush me, but I easily cut them down in điểm xạ (two round burst) with my PKP. Kuribayashi meanwhile rushes some guys very skillfully I should say, especially when she pulls out her pistol, but breaks her bipod in the process. Well...maybe Tomita was right about Kuribayashi tending to "break things".

Me: Tossing a sensor! (I toss a sensor grenade) All enemies marked, they can't run now! Kuribayashi, toss a frag in there!

Bandit Leader: Fall back and regroup!

The bandits try to get in a shield formation, only for Kuribayashi's frag destroying any organization they had left.

Kuribayashi: Grenade! (tosses a frag into a crowd of enemies, killing them)

Me: IS THAT ALL YOU GOT?! Tsk, THAT'S CUTE!

The bandits get aggravated and started to rush me instead, but I cut them down again with my PKP. This is starting to be another Great Marianas' Turkey Shoot. Kuribayashi continues firing her pistol into the crowd of bandits, disorganized because of how we were fighting. I continue to fire my PKP into the crowd, this time on full auto like a mad man. I then run out of ammo.

Me: Kuribayashi! Đang nạp đạn! (Reloading!)

Kuribayashi: Covering you sir!

Kuribayashi covers me while a bandit tries to flank us from behind, but Rory deals with him with her halberd. I then unload the rest of my bullets into the crowd.

Me: Tao sẽ giết mày! (I continue firing my PKP) TAO SẼ GIẾT MÀY TRƯỚC KHI MÀY ĂN CƯỚP QUÊ HƯƠNG CỦA TAO! (I will kill you all! I WILL KILL YOU ALL BEFORE YOU STEAL MY HOMELAND!)

A/N: This is supposed to be a Rising Storm 2 reference.

I continue firing on full auto, killing almost several dozen guys more. I then hear the rest of Hunter Team and Itami in the distance.

Itami: This is bad. Those 3 have lost all sense of their surroundings!

Ghost Lead: Not "lost", more like adjusted to their surroundings more. Hunter Team, Itami, Tomita, keep covering their 6! We don't want any nasty surprises coming from behind them!

Rest of them: Yes sir!

I continue firing my PKP as suppressing fire for both Kuribayashi and Rory when out of the corner of my eye, I see that an archer was trying to fire his bow at Kuribayashi.

Me: Kuribayashi, down!

I shove her to the ground with her lying on her back with my back against her chest to protect her. The arrow then went for my right side of my chest.

A/N: Like the second mission of GR:FS where Kozak protects Paez by lying him down and Kozak lying on his back on Paez to protect him.

Me: OWW! That goddamn hurts!

I pull the bow out of my plate carrier and shoot the archer with my suppressed M18 from my holster.

Me: Goddamn! Ow! Ow! Ow! (I look at the bandits with an angry crazed killing look) Now you are ALL DEAD!

Kuribayashi: Are you alright Lieutenant?!

Me: No, but just keep firing!

I continued my crazed state and fired again into the crowd of bandits with the PKP Rambo style as payback for the bow I just took.

Me: MÀY CHẾT HẾT ĐI! (YOU ALL DIE!)

The bandits who were stared at me all went down with the hail of lead sent their way. I see in the distance the bandit leader flying our way and landing on top of Rory's halberd.

Bandit leader: I refuse to accept this...this can't be called a war. Don't you agree, Priestess of Emroy? Answer me, Priestess of Emroy!

Rory then pulls her halberd to the ground. I then walk up to him, injured still.

Bandit leader: You....Ghost.

Me: I am here, and I am nowhere.

I shoot him in the head with my M18.

Bandits: Our leader!

Bandit vice-commander: Don't panic, regroup!

The bandits then fall back into a shield formation.

Hunter 1 (over radio): 3rd Recon, Hunter Team, this is Hunter 1! On the count of ten, we're going to wipe out the targets inside the gate. Evacuate immediately! Repeat, we will now wipe out the enemies inside the gate. Evacuate immediately!

Me: Itami, grab Rory! Kuribayashi, we have to withdraw NOW!

Itami grabs Rory while Kozak gets out of his optical camo to help me.

Kozak: Cтарший Лейтенант, сэр, вы в порядке? (Lieutenant, sir, are you okay?)

Me: Похоже, я в порядке? Козак? (Do I look like I'm okay? Kozak?) (I grit my teeth in pain)

Kozak: Простите, сэр (Sorry, sir)

Kozak then lifts my right arm and starts to help me rush back to the barricade.

Me: Kuribayashi, a little help here maybe?

Kuribayashi: Coming sir!

Kuribayashi lifts my left arm and slings it around her right shoulder and the the 3 of us rush back to our barricades.

Hunter 1 (over radio): じゅう, きゅう, はち, なな, ろく, ご, よん・し, さん, に, いち (10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1)

The Cobra fires its chaingun at the helpless bandits, decimating them all, and leaving almost no survivors.

Third Person POV:

Pina and Hamilton witnessed the destruction of the Cobra on the bandits.

Hamilton: A monster?

Pina: An iron pegasus? What is that? Absolute violence that no human can withstand...the power to crush everything...a power that denies pride, honor, and everything else.

To the south side

Lelei: It's over.

Tuka: The bandits have been wiped out?

Pina: Is this the goddess mocking us?

Back to Minh

Minh's POV:

Some of the 401st soldiers rappel out of their Hueys and start to take and round up prisoners and take care of the wounded. By the time I look back, Hunter Team and the rest of 3rd Recon arrived. Pepper and Kurokawa rushed to my side to deal with my injury.

Pepper (while giving bandages to Kurokawa): Sir, you fought like a true patriot today.

Me: It wasn't just me, it was also Kuribayashi who fought alongside me today. If she were not here, I would have been overrun. (I wink at Kuribayashi) Plus, she did pretty good defending herself today as well, doing a one man banzai charge.

Kuribayashi blushes at my comments.

Kuribayashi: Says the one who did a Vietnamese charge and killed 200 enemies in the mist of night and mowed down another 100 with the PKP.

Me: Well the one man banzai charge was more impressive! In fact, maybe after this is over, you should join either the US Marines or the Vietnamese Army!

Kuribayashi continues blushing. Ghost Lead meanwhile heads up to me to check up.

Ghost Lead: You okay Lieutenant? Looked pretty bad from where I saw it.

Me: Sir, if we didn't get killed by Raven's Rock, then will an arrow to the chest that is protected by a plate carrier kill me immediately?

Ghost Lead: Very well then.

Itami: It's over huh?

A militiaman walks up to us.

Militiaman: Thank you for saving us, men in green. Which army are you?

Me (thinking): That's the nickname here for the JGSDF. Wonder what ours will be...oh yeah...Ghosts.

Tomita: We're the Japanese Self Defense Force, or SDF for short.

Militiaman: Thank you. Especially that Ghost over there (points to me), you fought like no tomorrow. Are you with the SDF as well?

Me: No I am not. I am with the United States Marine Corps and People's Army of Vietnam.

The militiamen start talking amongst themselves.

Militiaman #1: He's in two armies?

Militiaman #2: No kidding he was so skilled at defeating the first wave!

Pepper and Kurokawa get done bandaging and tending to me and I start to walk, albeit in a struggle. Kuribayashi sees this and helps me again. I look at her and smile while Kuribayashi blushes again.

Pina's POV:

Me (thinking): All those bandits...and almost every one of them died. Just what is this SDF and the mysterious men?

A/N: Skipping the part where Rory destroys Itami.

A few moments later

Minh's POV:

Some of the SDF and Hunter Team continue cleaning up up the rubble. The other SDF soldiers stand guard around the town.

I hear Pina, Hamilton, and whom I would learn later as Grey talking to each other.

Pina: The bandits were wiped out.

Hamilton: Yes, it was our victory.

Pina: No. It was the Priestess of Emroy, Rory, and the SDF and mysterious men who won. Not me. And the SDF and mysterious men are our enemies who occupy the holy hill of Alnus.

Pina looks out for a moment.

Pina: In intending to save Italica, have I not called in a more terrifying force?

Me (thinking): You should have seen us in Russia. We striked fear into Raven's Rock and even Bodark. Speaking of Bodark, where are they now I wonder?

Pina: The iron pegasuses and their powerful magic that wiped out the bandits in all but a moment. If they were turned towards Italica, then both?

Me (thinking): Yeah that will probably happen.

Pina: And Myui, the countess of Formar, would be quickly turned into prisoners.

Me (thinking):.......I have no words.

Pina: And one of the Empire's most important agricultural areas would fall to the enemy. And the people would welcome them with cheers and open arms.

Me (thinking): Yeah, because we don't oppress people. Unlike the Empire!

Hamilton: That's not true!

Pina: Can you be sure? They were the ones who truly saved this town. If they demand our surrender, I might respond by falling to my knees and begging for mercy. And kiss the soles of their feet.

By the time they were done, Itami came up to check on me.

Me: You alright man? Look like you got punched by Rory really hard back there.

Itami: Yeah I'm fine. How about you though?

Me: Still as painful as ever. But...I can take it.

I try walking for a bit, though in a struggle. Kozak sees this and helps me around.

Me: Thanks Kozak.

Kozak: No problem.

A few moments later

Hamilton was reading out the conditions of the treaty. Itami, Tomita, Kozak, Tuka, Rory, Lelei, and me stand in front of her.

Hamilton: We are grateful to you and would like to negotiate your compensation.

Itami: Uh huh.

Hamilton: The second article, the safety of delegation, and its expenses, will be taken in accordance to Imperial protocol. And the third article, trading rights, for the Alnus cooperative, poses no problems either. But I'd like you to understand that the rights to the prisoners lie with us.

Tomita speaks out the terms in Japanese and Lelei translates it to Saderan.

Lelei: "We understand that labor is necessary to rebuild Italica. But we want assurances that they'll be treated humanely." He said.

Hamilton: Humane..ly?

Lelei: To be treated well, as one would treat a friend, relative, or acquaintance.

Hamilton: Would friends or relatives attack a peaceful town, pillaging it and killing its people?!

Kozak: And do you want it to be turned into another one of those Soviet Gulags?!

Lelei translates.

Hamilton: Soviet..gulags?

Me: (sighs) I will explain it. Lelei translate for me.

Lelei: Yes, I will.

I start to explain the story of what Gulags were and how the Soviet Gulags became infamous during the Stalin era. To say the least, they were a little shocked.

Lelei: To continue, those are their rules.

Hamilton: Understood. All that's left is the military withdrawal and the treaty period.

Kozak stands there in frustration.

Me: Kozak, I know you're frustrated about Hamilton, but please, just don't let it boil over.

Kozak: Yes...sir.

Lelei continues to speak.

Lelei: We have no problems with the withdrawal and treaty period as written.

Hamilton: Then that concludes the negotiations.

A few moments later

Itami was picking the people that we were going to take back as refugees with us while me, Kozak, Kuribayashi, Kurokawa, and Hamilton stand and wait with him.

Itami: Her, and her. (points to a few women) And her too. (points towards another woman)

Kuribayashi: The one with a feather in her hair?

Kozak: That would seem like it.

Itami: Yup.

Kurokawa: You've only picked women.

Me: Big coincidence? Or are you doing it intentionally?

Itami: That's just a coincidence.

Kuribayashi: That seems unlikely.

Itami: It's just a coincidence.

Both Kozak and I roll our eyes and chuckle.

Kozak: Sure...it's a "coincidence" (in extreme air quotes)

Kurokawa: A coincidence huh?

Itami: Yup. A coincidence!

I mentally smacked my forehead.

Kurokawa: Well, I understand we can't leave the girls here.

A few moments later

All the civilians are saying and waving goodbye to the 401st as they board their Hueys and get ready to leave back to Alnus Hill.

Civilians: Goodbye! Thank you! Goodbye!

Tomita: Okay, we should probably head back as well.

Kurata: Huh, where are the girls.

Kozak: Selling the dragon scales.

Tomita: Oh yeah that's right. That was our original goal right?

Me: Yeah.

Itami: Or was supposed to be...why'd we get caught up in all this trouble?

A few hours later after the girls are done selling the dragon scales

We were all heading back to Alnus Hill, with Kuribayashi sitting next to me again and Hunter Team is up above in our MH-60X piloted by the same 160th SOAR pilot who flown us into Russia.

The three girls were exhausted and sleeping on each other's shoulders. Kuribayashi was doing the same and leaning on my shoulder. Itami yawns and talks to Kurata.

Itami (yawns): I'm tired Kurata.

Kurata: I know the feeling. Especially Lieutenant Lê back there.

Me (yawns): Yeah I'm tired too.

Kurata: That was rough back there.

Itami: It was horrible. I'm exhausted.

Kurata sees something and slams the brakes. All of us jolt awake.

Kuribayashi (yawning): Kurata! What was that for?!

Me: Maybe he saw something.

Kurata: Smoke in front of us!

Itami: More smoke?!

Me: Great.

I use my glasses to get a better look and Itami gets out his binos as well.

Itami: It's coming this way?

Me: No kidding. Must be something huge?

Kuribayashi: Maybe sir.

Kurata pulls out his binos as well.

Itami: The smoke's keeping me from getting a good look.

Me: Switching to magnetic vision.

I switch to magnetic vision, getting a clear view of what's in front of us.

Me: It looks like knights are coming up to our position from where I'm sitting. Kurata, Itami?

Kurata: I can see something!

Itami: What can you see?

Kurata: A tiara!

Itami: Oh, a tiara. Okay. A tiara?!

Kurata: Blonde hair! Ringlets!

I smack myself in my forehead.

Me: What's up with Japanese people and blondes?

Kurata: Sir, you have been in the US so you must've seen blondes on a daily basis.

Me: Doesn't mean I like them Kurata!

I sigh.

Me: From my magentic vision. I can gather that they are all wearing the armor similar to Pina and Hamilton back at Italica. Maybe they were the reinforcements that Pina seeked out.

Kurata: That tri-colored rose crest?

Me: I knew it. Empire.

The horses approach our vehicle.

Me: Hunter 0-5, get ready your minigun, but do not shoot, I repeat, do not shoot.

Kozak: Yes sir.

Kuribayashi gets ready her rifle.

Kuwabara: All units, alert status.

Itami: Hold up, old man. Show no overt shows of hostility. It might violate the treaty.

Kuwabara: Roger.

Me: They don't look friendly to me. Are you sure about this?

Itami: Yeah? Maybe?

I sigh yet again.

Me: God you're hopeless.

One of the knights in white hair heads up to Tomita and asks him something.

??? (Panache): Where did you come from?

Tomita: We're returning from Italica.

??? (Panache): To where?

Tomita: Alnus Hi-

She then gets out her sword and points it at Tomita.

??? (Panache): The Hill of Alnus?

The knights then point their spears and swords at us.

Me (gritting my teeth): Hunter 0-5?

Kozak: Already got my hands on the trigger. I'm itching to fire.

Me: Good.

Itami: Old man, don't let any of our guys fire.

??? (Bozes and grabs Tomita): Are you the enemy from another world?

I grit my teeth even harder. Itami heads out and in my frustration, I follow him.

Kuribayashi: Where are you going sir?

Me: To see what the idiot is up to.

I head out and see Itami try to negotiate with them.

Itami: Excuse me. Has my man there done something to offend you?

Me: Sorry for that if it happens. Just calm down please.

??? (Panache and pointing her sword): Surrender!

Me: Maam you need to calm down-

??? (Bozes): Silence both of you! (proceeds to hit me at the right side of my chest)

Me (in pain): Ow! Cái đ*t!

Everyone including Hunter Team points their weapons up.

Kuwabara: Hold your fire! Hold your fire!

Itami: Run! For now, just get out of here! Get going!

Me: Hunter Team?!

Kozak: What sir?!

Me: Oтступление, сейчас! (Withdraw, now!)

Kozak: Да, старший лейтенант.. (Yes, Lieutenant sir...)

Hunter Team and 3rd Recon leave without us, leaving both of us at the mercy of the knights. The knights point their swords at us.

Me: This is all your fault Itami!

Itami: I know!
