Minh's POV:

Even since we got back to Japan, everything has been either a blur or a frenzy of a sudden sh*tstorm that will come as a result of us repelling the Chinese MSS attack in Hà Nội. We were in a van with Risa again and we were stuck in traffic. The breaking news then suddenly came on.

TV announcer: Early this morning, the world was shocked when Prime Minister Motoi announced resignation after an emergency hospitalization. The opposition party has denounced his actions as irresponsible. In other news, the day before the Vietnamese capital of Hà Nội was attacked by Chinese MSS Agents in an attempt-

Shino then grabbed and held onto my hand.

Shino: You alright there, Minh?

Me: Yeah. Though I starting to think that this is all a coordinated strike against us.

Shino: Why?

Me: Remember that we were attacked by the MSS agents back in Hà Nội 2 days before the Prime Minister's resignation was announced, which is today.

Shino: Yeah?

Me: Well...I'm starting to have a notion that the Chinese secretly helped the Japanese opposition into gaining dirt on the Prime Minister as revenge for stopping their agents back at my home.

Itami then speaks up.

Itami: Then if that's the case, this whole damn thing would make a whole lot of sense.

Risa meanwhile on social media to tell people that Rory, Lelei, and Tuka were going to lay flowers at the Ginza memorial at 1400 hours and then they were going back to the KVĐB (Special Region).

Tomita: We're completely stuck.

We looked over a bit and saw a huge crowd of people. Enough to start a riot if you ask me myself.

Riza: I didn't think there would be so many.

I mentally smacked myself in the forehand.

Me: Cái gì? Còn không biết mình đang nói tro cả hết thế giới báo về sự kiện, khoảng (I look at my watch) 4 tiếng tư bây giờ. Thế thì chịu rồi. (What? You told almost the world about the event that will be up in, 4 hours from now, and you still can't understand that? I'm bummed then.)

Riza: Wait, Minh, what did you say?

Shino: He's saying that the crowd was made by you. You were the one who posted it online, and that he can't understand why you didn't know that it could create such as crowd.

Bozes: Is this an army that's going to attack the Empire?

Pina: Where did they all come from?

Shino: Now....what do we do?

Itami: We'll have to walk, but...

We all then look at the crowd.

Itami: Wouldn't is be dangerous to go outside?

Shino: Sure would.

Me: No sh*t. Who knows what could be lying in that massive crowd of people.

Shino: Like MSS agents still.

Me: Yeah. Probably as some sort of revenge for the failed assassination on me as well.

Itami: No kidding.

Tomita: But we won't get anywhere at this rate. What do we do?

Rory: It's okay.

Rory then opens the door of the van and go outs to stretch.

Itami: Hey, Rory! Wait!

Rory: Oh, come on.

She then goes up to random people asking for where Ginza is.

Rory: Hey you.

The random person she walked up to looked shocked.

Rory: Where's Ginza?

Itami: This is bad. We don't know who's in the crowd.

Me: I just said that earlier, Itami! Would you at least listen to me?! But seriously though, continue.

Itami: Alright. To the people who lost family members in the Ginza incident, they're seeing an enemy for the first time.

Tomita: I don't know about Rory, but we really can't take the Princess out there.

Me: Yeah, I agree.

Itami: Yeah. Maybe we should give up for today-

Shino: But even if we try it tomorrow, those MSS agents would still be waiting for us.

Me: And I don't want another repeat of 2 days earlier. (I then sigh)

Itami: I know.

Meanwhile, back in the crowd, everyone is amazed of Rory. They took pictures and even gave her a banquet of flowers.

Random person #1: Rory-sama!

Random person #2: Just like on TV!

Random person #3: I can't believe it! A girl from another world! Rory-sama is the best!

Me: Giời đất ơi... (My god...)

Itami: If we don't go now, the Prime Minister's resignation and Risa's efforts would have been in vain. Dammit! It's like we're running from debt collectors.

Itami then looks back at his ex-wife as we all got out of the van.

Itami: Risa, sorry, but this is goodbye. Take the car somewhere and abandon it.

Risa: EH? Wait, senpai!

Itami: Thanks.

Risa: You know I can't drive!

Itami: You can do it!

Risa: What are you talking about?!

Risa then makes a defeated face.

Itami: Don't make that face.

Risa: Are you coming back?

Itami: Probably not for a while, but I'll be in touch. (grabs Risa's face) But most importantly, pay me back!

Me: Woah, woah, woah, hey, don't be mean like that!

Risa: If my doujinshi sells, I'll put it in your account!

Itami: Well then. Take care.

Me: Cmon Itami, we have to go now. Can't be waiting all day.

Risa: Lê?

Me: Yeah?

Risa: Take care of him for me. He could be an idiot sometimes.

Me: I know, I know. I will.

Itami and I go back to our group and we start to discuss the plan.

Itami: Sergeant Tomita, Sergeant Kuribayashi, First Lieutenant Lê. We are now going to guard our five guests from the Special Region. If anyone tries to hurt them...

Me: We drop 'em. (I check then stuff my Honey Badger back into the coat)

Shino: Roger!

Tomita: Roger!

Me: Also note, there are CIA and TC2 agents in the crowd.

Itami: Wait, how did you know?

Me: Just got a text from Capital Command. Says that those guys are there just in case if something goes wrong.

Itami: Well...it's nice to have friends we can trust.

Me: And they're also there to make sure there are no Chinese agents in the crowd as well. Now, diamond formation!

We then got into a diamond formation around Pina, Bozes, Tuka, Lelei, and Rory and we started to walk. I took the left of the group, Itami took the right, Tomita took the front, and Shino took the rear. Police are on crowd control and keep the crowds on two sides, left and right. A news helicopter then swerves overhead us.

Third Person POV:

News reporter: We just got word that the girls from the Special Region, who appeared at the Diet 3 days ago and the Vietnamese National Assembly 2 days ago have arrived in Ginza. After laying flowers at the memorial, they'll be returning to the Special Region. Their fans heard the news and crowded Ginza so much, that it's shut down the city. We'll go to Kuribayashi-san, at the scene!

Nanami Kuribayashi: A-A...

News reporter: Kuribayashi-san!

Nanami: A-E-I-U-

Nanami then freaks out and gets back into position.

Nanami: Th-This Ginza, reporting live from Kuribayashi! I mean, this Kuribayashi, reporting live from Ginza!

News reporter: What's going on down there?

Nanami: The three of them are heading towards the memorial while waving at the huge crowd gathered here.

Nanami then looks at the others.

Nanami: Uh. It's not just the three of them. There are others as well. I see nine in total! Huh?

Nanami then spots her sister.

Nanami: Oni-chan?

Back to Minh

Minh's POV:

We were walking when Shino noticed someone.

Me: You going to be alright?

Shino: Yes.

Reporter: Sis?

Shino then gets into a fighting position.

Shino: Who's there?

The reporter freaks out, but Shino then realizes who she was.

Shino: Huh? Nanami?

Nanami then nods.

Shino: What are you doing?

Nanami: A-A TV broadcast! Hey, Oni-chan! Can I get an interview with the girls from the Special Region?

Shino: No way! After the flowers, we're going back to the Special Region.

Nanami: You're going back?

Shino: Yeah. O, Nanami! I have a request...

Shino then gets on the camera.

Shino: Hey, Mom! How you doin'? I won't be home for a while, but as soon as I can take a vacation I'll be heading home

Camera reporter: Hey! What is this? What about the interview?

Nanami: I'm so sorry!

Shino: But there have been people after us since the last 2 days ago. Thanks to some Chinese agents, buildings were damaged and property stolen. They might be after us now.

Nanami: Oni-chan!

Shino: Wait, it there a problem?

Nanami: There sure is!

I then see a what I can tell is a CIA agent and a TC2 agent looking past a van. They then winked at me and gestured for me to come.

Me: Itami, cover this position, I need to talk to someone.

Itami: Alright.

I then walk over to them.

Me: Agent Graham. CIA?

Graham: Yep, that's me. How have you been doing since that attack on your own capital city.

Me: Fine...I guess.

TC2 Agent: Chào đồng chí Thượng Úy. (Hello, Comrade First Lieutenant) (he then salutes me)

Me (I Salute back): Chào đồng chí đặc vụ. Hà Nội bay giờ ôn chưa? (Hello, Comrade agent. Is Hà Nội stabilized now?)

TC2 Agent: Dạ, ôn rồi, nhưng còn có một số thứ còn phải xếp ra ạ. (Yes, it's stabilized, but we still need to take care of some stuff, sir.)

Me: Ừ. À quên, tên họ là gì? (Oh, I forget, what's your family name?)

TC2 Agent: Phạm, ạ. (Phạm, sir.)

Me: Ừ. Cảm ơn đồng chí Phạm. (Okay. Thanks, Comrade Phạm)

Phạm: Dạ, không sao ạ. (No problem, sir.)

Me: Graham?

Graham: Hm?

Me: Any Chinese agents you could spot in the crowd?

Graham: So far, there have been none. But, we'll keep an eye out. It's not just me and Phạm here. TC2 and CIA are almost swarming the place now. (he laughs)

It was then Komakado came up and greeted us.

Komakado: Ah, Graham-san, Phạm-san, Lê-san, how are you all doing?

Me: So far, so good.

Graham: The MSS agents were repelled in Hà Nội and that's what matters.

Phạm: And we're rebuilding the parts of the city that those MSS agents destroyed.

Komakado: Good. By the way, any Chinese MSS agents hiding in the crowd?

Graham: No sir.

Komakado: Oh that's right. We arrested them all after they tried to flee from that failed mission to assassinate you in Hà Nội, Lê.

Me: Ha. Take that you bastards.

Graham: A failed assassination attempt. A*sholes.

Phạm: No kidding.

Komakado: And those MSS agents won't be coming back anytime soon.

Me: Well...good.

Komakodo: Anyways, Lê, you should get going. Graham and Phạm, have your agents stick around for a bit longer.

Me: Yes sir.

Graham: Roger.

Phạm: Yes sir.

Komakado: Take care gentlemen. God bless you all and for my Vietnamese friends, Việt Nam muôn năm.

Me and Phạm: Dạ vâng.

Komakado then smiles and leaves us.

Graham: Well Lieutenant, you should get going now.

Me: You got this covered?

Graham: Yeah we do.

Me: Alright. See you both on the other side. ( I wink)

Graham and Phạm winks back and I head back to our group about to say the prayers.

In Beijing

Third Person POV:

Chinese President/CCP General Secretary Wong had been informed of the incident of their agents failing to capture those residents and kill Lê and that those same agents were arrested in Japan. Now, the world was going to have a backlash against them, and they can only deny so much, before evidence starts mounting against them.

President Wong (sighs): Give the order to withdraw all our agents. We've failed badly.

Back to Minh

Minh's POV:

We were waiting for Tuka, Lelei, Pina, Bozes, and Rory to get done saying their prayers and wreathing the memorial near the site of the Ginza incident. I then heard Rory say something once she was done.

Rory: A bell must be rung to lay all the dead to rest, yeah? Someone, sound the bell.

Itami: A bell?

A bell begun to sound, signaling that is was 1400 hours (2:00 PM Japanese time) and once it was done, the gates securing the perimeter around the Gate opened. The crowd began to wave goodbye to all of us and Itami and the rest of the group waited around first, as we were about to be given a ride by Kurata in a Toyota High Mobiliy Vehicle. Shino and I meanwhile sat somewhere else and we briefly exchanged a kiss and Shino then leaned onto my right shoulder.

Me: Man, today was a long day.

Shino (yawning): Yeah. It was.

Me: So, how was your interview with Nanami.

Shino: It was fine I guess.

I then see the Gate's doors open and Kurata's Toyota came down and drifted to the side.

Kurata: Captain, Lieutenant! We're here to get you.

Kurata then sees us all slumped down onto a street sidewalk.

Kurata: Huh?

Itami: So tired...

A few moments later, Alnus Hill, KVĐB (Special Region)

Yanagida came up to greet us.

Yanagida: Hey you 2. Did you enjoy your vacation?

Me: Yeah, if only those agents didn't attack freaking Hà Nội in the middle of the goddamn night!

Yanagida: That you can't control. It's their fault for attacking you, those CIA and FSB agents, and not to mention the whole Hà Nội police.

Itami: You call that a vacation?! I'd better get 3 more days off at the end of the year!

Yanagida: If you want that, you'll have to go negotiate......directly with the general.

Meanwhile Rory, Luka, and Lelei were talking amongst themselves.

Rory: It was a fun trip!

Lelei: Very interesting! I want to go back!

Luka: Shopping sure was fun!

Third Person POV

Pina and Bozes were in their room discussing matters.

Pina (writing): The other side of the Gate was overwhelming. If we continue this war, the Empire is certain to lose. No, it will be destroyed.

Bozes: Your Highness...

Pina: We'll leave for the capital at dawn. We must prepare for peace talks as soon as possible.

Pina then opens the window of their room.

Pina: I will...
