DESCRIPTION

scott mccall is in trouble when he realizes he's falling in love with his best friend's girlfriend

SUMMARY

EVER SINCE they were little it has always been Averi, Scott, and Stiles. 

They've been best friends for as long as they can remember. They stuck by each other's side through everything, especially through all the supernatural stuff they have to deal with in Beacon Hills. Averi had promised herself that she wouldn't fall for either of them when they got into middle school. She didn't want to lose them since they meant the world to her. Yeah, she broke that promise when she started catching feelings for Stiles. Those beautiful hazel eyes of his seemed to draw her in like a magnetic pull. Even though Scott is very happy for his two best friends being in love and stuff, he's terrified because he's in love with Averi. He doesn't want to be because he knows that she and Stiles love each other. He doesn't want to break them up. Okay, maybe part of him wants them to break up and that part of him hopes that she might get with him....Yeah, he has a problem.

Falling in love with your best friend's girlfriend who's your girlfriend sucks. Scott couldn't do anything about it. It's so wrong that he's in love with his best friend girl, but he can't help but feel this strong. And sometimes he thought it might be possible Averi could feel the same. But he couldn't tell Averi or Stiles about his romantic feelings for Averi because that would just ruin everything. He tried to get rid of his feelings, but nothing worked. They just seemed to be growing and he hated it. While his two best friends were happy with each other he was silently suffering because of his stupid feelings. He wished someone could help him because this is just so unhealthy.

Things change for the three best friends when Scott saves Averi from becoming the next experiment of the Dread Doctors. Feelings are realized and admitted while other feelings fade away. The good news is that Averi's, Scott's, and Stiles' story ends with everyone being happy. It might be different than how it was throughout the years but at least they're still alive and still best friends.

NOTES 

-plot is highly based off the song i want you bad by r5 (go check it out its so good!)

-like mentioned averi & scott are true mates/soulmates so somehow subtly mention that throughout the fic despite averi & stiles still being together at the beginning. if you have any other question about this idea for them i had, i have some other stuff about it that would make this notes much longer than it should so just lmk & i'm happy to help!

-also there is no scott & kira or scott & malia in this fic. maverick, averi's older brother, & kira are together though so pls be sure to add that too!!

-averi & maverick have a close bond, maverick even calls her tinkerbell or tink bc one she loves those movies & two she's a fairy & reminds him of tinkerbell.
