DESCRIPTION

it was obvious juliet and jj had chemistry since the day they met, but with juliet being a kook and jj being a pogue, they thought things between them would never work. at least that's what their parents said. their parents did have a feud going on so did they listen to their parents? of course not. juliet thought this summer was just going to be another boring summer, but she's pleasantly surprised when she heard rocks thrown at her window and found a note taped to the window that read 'you down for a treasure hunt? check yes, juliet <3'

SUMMARY

Outer Banks is what visitors would call paradise on earth, if you asked the people who lived there most locals wouldn't agree. Juliet Adams has lived there her whole life, living on the Figure Eight side of the island since she and her family are rich. She's a kook, but she spends more time on The Cut side of the island where the pogues are. Kooks and pogues are basically other words for rich people and poor people. Juliet didn't mind living here, she's used to it and it's all she ever known. Her family is loaded and it's always been that way, her parents have their own company and they've worked together for years.

Juliet is the only child of the two, she's been spoiled all her life and was raised with everything she wanted. But she wasn't a spoiled brat as some might think, her parents did teach her manners and raised her well. They've given her everything, but they also had her do chores around the house and she got an allowance for working hard. They taught her to appreciate the things they give her and never be ungrateful. She was always thankful and never asked for much. She always felt bad when she did. She was kind to everyone, or at least she tried to be, and she always treated others how she'd want to be treated. Her parents taught her that. Though it seems like that went out the window when it came to the pogues. Specifically JJ Maybank and his family.

Her parents and the Maybanks have always had this rivalry between them, Juliet and JJ never knew how that started but it had always been there. And Juliet's parents were adamant on her and her friends staying away from him. Of course, she never listened and she hung out with the boy all the time. She and JJ were practically inseparable, she didn't understand how her parents could hate the boy so much when he's never done anything to them. She hated that they hated him just because they hate his parents. JJ wasn't like his parents at all. But because of her parents practically forbidding her to see him, she had to keep their friendship a secret. It was the worst feeling to keep a secret from your parents, but it was necessary. And soon enough, Juliet and JJ started dating and had to keep that a secret. Only their friends on The Cut knew.

It's been going on for a few months and her parents still don't know. She wants to tell them, she hates keeping this secret from them, but she's afraid of how they are going to react when she told them. She's never disobeyed her parents before, so she was afraid that she'd disappoint them if they found out. They wouldn't be too happy to know their daughter was dating the son of the parents they had a feud with. Juliet loves her parents and would do anything to make them proud. She doesn't want to lose that. So, she and JJ just kept their relationship a secret. It was hard, especially with her parents watching her every move and being overprotective of her. She knows her parents mean well and just want the best of her, but sometimes they could be a bit too strict and overbearing. She's grateful to have such good and caring parents, but sometimes they just go a little too far.

-i dont have a faceclaim for her parents so you can pick, also can pick their names! they're strict & kinda mean but they do love & care for juliet a lot & do whatever it takes to protect her. 

-juliet is close with jj's friends so would love to see some moments with her & them

-she's not really friends with any of the kooks besides sarah & kiara (obviously), but you can change that if you want !

-juliet's parents own a company but you can decide what kind of company & if they both work there, etc

-juliet works at the animal shelter (she loves animals) & i would love to see some scenes with her there
