You were talking to Bellona as Zoey helped Sophie and Brendan with the Christmas tree. "Yeah. Emily has been really shaky after she told us. Do... you want to check on her?" Bellona asked. "Sure! I'll be back later." You replied.

You went back upstairs and knocked on Emily's door. Nobody responded before you knocked again. Again, no reply. You opened the door to see Emily on her balcony. You quietly closed the door before quietly walking up to her. "It's awfully cold. Even for you." You stated.

"Yeah. But when you feel cold inside, it can't really bother ya." Emily replied. You placed your hand on Emily's shoulder before offering her a smile. "How are you doing?" You asked. "I... I guess I'm ok. I just feel... scared to be honest." Emily replied. "Why?" You said as your hand now laid against her back.

"I mean, society literally states that being 'gay' is wrong. Remember that shooting at that gay club!? I-I'm scared that I'll go to school and people will have that look you get in Underfell..." Emily said before you sighed.

"Emily, you are surrounded by good people. Granted. Jeremy literally left, despite his relationship with Asgore. That won't happen." You said before Emily sighed. "I'm just going to hope and pray that you're right." Emily said. "That's the spirit! Come on. I think Sophie is making mint cookies." You said before Emily looked away.

You smiled before gently turning her skull and placing a kiss straight onto her 'lips'. Emily blushed bright green as her ears perked up. Her tail was wagging furiously as you pulled away. "See you downstairs." You said before leaving. Emily darted after you as soon as you left her room.

"Wait up!"
