Wrapped in a soft (red/blue/green) blanket, you were curled up the smallest a small half snake person could get. You were being held by a skeleton in a sweater vest, with several other skeletons looking at you... well one seemed to be blind but you couldn't tell.

"Swap... Why do you bring random things in the house?" One skeleton, wearing a dark long coat, asked in an annoyed tone. "They were shivering! I figured we could help. Besides, B is part snake!" Your capturer answered, motioning towards the skeleton dressed in mostly green.

The green dressed skeleton nodded to the statement as the dark long coat one held his face, groaning. One in a lab coat carefully moved the blanket to try and see you more. You let out a small hiss, trying to scare him off.

"Well. They are not what I thought. See the colors? Milk snake. Nothing to worry about." The lab coat draped one pointed out, letting you hide yourself again.

Swap let out a nervous chuckle, completely forgetting to check if you're venomous. The tallest one snickered at Swap's scared look. "Forget to check?" Swap quickly nodded, feeling a deep pit in his ribcage.

Swap was making a small area for you as you watched closely. You now had a (f/c) shirt on as you tilted your head at the skeleton's work. Swap was setting a heating pad under the blanket he used earlier to carry you. He had picked a few toys from the storage room to keep you company.

Swap moved back as you slithered into the area, examining it. Swap watched with a smile as you seemed to accept the area as your own. 

"This is yours. Nobody is allowed to take anything. Ok?" Swap explained, seeing you nod. He smiled more before huffing, not giving you a name this entire time. You tilted your head at his small frustration.

"This whole time I have called you 'it', 'they', and 'them'. No name. Unless those are your pronouns. I just..." Swap held his face as you slithered to his lap. Swap looked at you and was weighing his options. "If... If you can talk. Can you tell me your name?" Swap asked, hoping you would answer.

You perked before holding your chin in thought. Swap waited before you looked at him. "(Y/N)... I'm (Y/N).." You said weakly, looking at the skeleton. Swap smiled and ruffled your head. "(Y/N) it is! Thanks for telling me!" Swap exclaimed happily, seeing you happy as well.

You hugged Swap, feeling the same embrace returned.
