You were sitting next to Papyrus (which you learned all their names) as Toriel served dinner. "So, (y/n)," you looked at Asriel as he seemed embarrassed, "what do you do for fun?" You thought about it and replied "(hobby)." Dinner was very quiet after that, other than some small chat.

Then Toriel noticed you weren't eating. "My child, is there something wrong with your food?" Everyone heard you drop your fork before you picked it up. "N-no. Nothing is wrong." You replied quickly. "*you sure kid? *you haven't ate a thing." You only nodded quickly before starting to eat.

After dinner, Frisk and Asriel wanted you to play with them. Sadly you said that you had to go. "Feel free to come back any time my child!" Gaster noticed you flinching again before seeing you nod quickly and grab your jacket. You started to walk home before hearing a thunder clap.

"PUNK!" You jumped before turning to Undyne. "GET BACK IN HERE! BAD THUNDER STORM!" You bolted back in before Undyne closed the door. "Geez. That's two heart attacks in one day." You muttered before Akumu came out.

"AKUMU?!"

Everyone now saw you shivering with tears in your eyes. "D-don't hurt him! He's all I have of Betty!" You then covered your mouth before starting to cry. "W..what are y..y..you ta..talking about (y..y..y/n)?" You uncovered your mouth and just held your hands close to your chest.

"Betty was my..."

"Your what?"

"Betty was my younger sister..."

Now everyone looked shocked before you started to cry again. That's when Frisk, Asriel, and Papyrus hugged you. You were surprised for a minute before hugging Papyrus back (since you could bend down at the moment) as Akumu sat on your head gently.

~ Later ~

You were reading on the couch before Gaster walked over and sat next to you. "I'm sorry." You perked and lowered your book. "Huh?" "I'm sorry about Betty." Gaster saw you looked down before seeing you smile slightly. "Its ok. You were just trying to protect yourselves."

Gaster smiled before he opened his arms. You placed the book down and hugged Gaster. Gaster wrapped his arms around you before your orange strain of hair started to glow. Gaster perked, thinking he should research about it, before he kept hugging you without knowing that this just healed your soul.

"Thanks G."

"You're welcome (y/n)."
