Garments Series FAQ
Hey guys! Since all the Garments Series stories are all interlinked, correlated or happening simultaneous, I thought to make a FAQ book since it can get pretty confusing and overwhelming. And since it's been requested.

Are they all going to be short stories?
Yes, they are going to be short-stories. Unless I go with a crazy plan to have one last story which closes every door possible in the Garments Series.
What is the reading order?
There is no particular order. Each story can stand on its own but since they are all made to correlate, it's pretty simple to read them all together. From now, I started to end each chapter with what story and what chapter to read next so it all flows together in a coherent manner. And hopefully makes it less confusing. I'm also planning on updating in a way that you know what to read next - based on the events that are happening.
How frequent are your updates going to be?
The current time I'm writing this, updates should be frequent because I'm on my summer holiday. However, the whole of August I'm away and I still don't know if I'll have internet connection abroad. If I do, then updates will be frequent.
How many stories are there going to be in the series?
This is something I can't give a definite answer to. Because I simply don't know. With these Garments Series, I'm writing with no direct plan. I got a fair idea how it's going to end and what the main dilemmas are but all the in-betweens is something I'm just making up as I write. So if any new characters are introduced on the spur, expect another Garments story coming up -especially if I tell you to not forget the character. But so far, I'm sticking with six.
How many chapters are there going to be in each story?
As soon as Jeans Jacket and Satin Shirts are finished with however much chapters, then all the others that follow with have around that number of chapters. It's going to be somewhere below 20 chapters and above 11.
Do you have to read one story to understand the other?
No, you don't. As I mentioned before, each one can stand on its own but as some people have pointed out, it's best to read them all together so you're not confused. And so you can basically comment about the other characters in the other stories that make an appearance.
Where did you get the covers from, and did you make them?
The image itself is not mine but the edits I did myself. I'm actually glad I found a set of images that are part of a collection and that match my stories.
How do you come up with the titles?
When I first write a story, I go search for a cover first. As soon as I find a fancy cover, I start thinking of a title that goes along with it. Then I write the first chapter/extract. Then I start to think about the bigger plot.
What inspired you to write the Garments Series?
Society. And all the issues surrounding it.
Jeans Jacket focuses on the issues surrounding social class e.g. middle class, working class, upper class.
Satin Shirts focuses on social status e.g. the position or rank of a person or group, within the society. In the case of SS, it's ascribed.
Lacy Leathers focuses on interracial issues e.g. a black man dating a white woman or vice versa. [I know interracial relationships are common nowadays but it's hardly written about and there is an issue surrounding it, especially the racists remarks and what people think when they see interracial couples]
Velvet Vest will focus on the physical advantages e.g. a disable girl with an able boy.
Hodden Hoodie and Cotton Cardigan's background information will be up soon.
What do the titles mean?
The clothing material symbolises one of the character's main personality trait. For example, Satin Shirts; Satin symbolizes softness and Andy had a really soft personality. Jeans Jacket, Ellie a strong-willed person and never breaks considering her father's doings, thus jeans - which is a hard material. Lacy Leathers, Valerie is a transparent person, in some sense you could argue this isn't a admirable trait to have but hey ho, not every character is flawless. Velvet Vest, Hodden Hoodie and Cotton Cardigan's will be up soon.
What do you mean by interlinked, correlated, simultaneously.. etc?
What I mean is basically that, it's happening at the same time. Andy and Jon are having their own problems alongside Nate and Ellie and Shar and Valerie's problems. All the events are happening at the same time. As simple as that.

If something still doesn't make sense, just say so and I'll try my best to make it make sense.
I hope this answered a few of your questions and now you can enjoy the Garments Series :)
