[There is a montage of scenes as the group heads back to DuLoc. Garfield crawling up to the top of a tree to make it fall over a small brook so that Pomni won't get wet. Garfield then gets up as SpongeBob is just about to cross the tree and the tree swings back into its upright position and SpongeBob flies off. Pomni swatting and a bunch of flies and mosquitoes. Garfield grabs a nearby spiderweb that's on a tree branch before he throws a spider away and then runs through the field swinging it around to catch the bugs. He then throws the bugs in the lake. Garfield catching a toad and blowing it up like a balloon and presenting it to Pomni. Pomni catching a snake, blowing it up, fashioning it into a balloon animal and presenting it to Garfield. The group arriving at a windmill that is near DuLoc.]

Garfield: There it is, Princess. Your future awaits you.

Pomni: That's DuLoc?

SpongeBob: Yeah, I know. You know, Garfield thinks Lord Koopa's compensating for something, which I think means he has a really... (Garfield steps on his foot) Ow!

Garfield: Um, I, uh— I guess we better move on.

Pomni: Sure. But, Garfield? I'm... I'm worried about SpongeBob.

Garfield: What?

Pomni: I mean, look at him. He doesn't look so good.

SpongeBob: What are you talking about? I'm fine.

Pomni: (kneels to look him in the eyes) That's what they always say, and then next thing you know, you're on your back. (pause) Dead.

Garfield: You know, she's right. You look awful. Do you want to sit down?

Pomni: Uh, you know, I'll make you some tea.

SpongeBob: I didn't want to say nothin', but I got this twinge in my neck, and when I turn my head like this, look, (turns his neck in a very sharp way until his head is completely sideways) Ow! See?

Garfield: Who's hungry? I'll find us some dinner.

Pomni: I'll get the firewood.

SpongeBob: Hey, where you goin'? (Sigh) I'll wait.

[Garfield has built a fire and is cooking the rest of dinner while Pomni eats.]

Pomni: Mmm. This is good.

Garfield: Yeah, grilled cheese sandwich is the best, right?

Pomni: No kidding. Well, this is delicious.

Garfield: Well, they're also great in crisp. Now, I don't mean to brag, but I make a cheddar grilled cheese sandwich. (chuckles)

[Pomni looks at DULOC and sighs.]

Pomni: I guess I'll be dining a little differently tomorrow night.

Garfield: Maybe you can come visit me in the forest sometime. I'll cook all kinds of stuff for you. Lasagna, pizza, and spaghetti and meatballs.

Pomni: (smiles) I'd like that.

[They smiled at each other.]

Garfield: Um, Princess?

Pomni: Yes, Garfield?

Garfield: I, um, I was wondering...are you...(sighs) Are you gonna eat that?

(Pomni gives a grilled cheese sandwich to Garfield)

SpongeBob: (chuckles) Man, isn't this romantic? Just look at that sunset.

Pomni: (jumps up) Sunset?! Oh, no! I mean, it's late. I-It's very late.

Garfield: What?

SpongeBob: Wait a minute. I see what's goin' on here. You're afraid of the dark, aren't you?

Pomni: Yes! Yes, that's it. I'm terrified. You know, I'd better go inside.

SpongeBob: Don't feel bad, Princess. I used to be afraid of the dark, too, until-- Hey, no, wait. I'm still afraid of the dark.

[Garfield sighs.]

Pomni: Good night.

Garfield: Good night.

[Pomni goes inside the windmill and closes the door. SpongeBob looks at Garfield with a new eye.]

SpongeBob: Ohh! Now I really see what's goin' on here.

Garfield: Oh, what are you talkin' about?

SpongeBob: I don't even wanna hear it. Look, I'm a Sea-Sponge, and I got instincts. And I know you two were diggin' on each other. I could feel it.

Garfield: You're crazy. I'm just bringing her back to Koopa.

SpongeBob: Oh, come on, Garfield. Wake up and smell the pheromones. Just go on in and tell her how you feel.

Garfield: I.... There's nothing to tell. Besides, even if I did tell her that, well, you know.... and I'm not sayin' I do 'cause I don't.... she's a princess, and I'm....

SpongeBob: A tabby cat?

Garfield: Yeah. A tabby cat.

SpongeBob: Hey, where you goin'?

Garfield: To get... more firewood. (sighs)
