Later, the Rusties arrived at Jack Hammer's hardware store.

Jack Hammer said "I got good news, and I got bad news."

Fender asked "What's the bad news?"

Jack Hammer said "I checked the stock book. As of today, they're no longer making parts for your model. You have been officially outmoded."

Jax asked calmly "Outmoded? Well, that's fine." He bursts in anger "WHAT'S THE GOOD NEWS?!"

Jack Hammer said "Well, when we had your parts...THEY WERE ON SALE!"
He laughed
Fender and Jax laughed and then cried "How could this happen to us?! We're practically kids!"

Jack Hammer said "Jeez, look, pull yourself together. All you need is an upgrade."

He shows them an upgrade part. Everyone looked at it in awe.

Lugnut said "That new-upgrade smell."

Kinger said "Nice!"

Zooble said "Well, that's pretty."

Jack Hammer said "Just came in, fully loaded." He showed the cup holders "Look. It's got cup-holders, standard."

Lugnut asked "Does it come in plus sizes?"

Jack Hammer replied "Sure, take a look at the new Bigweld spring collection."

He shows them a closet full of shiny new upgrades as they were in awe.

Fender said "We can't afford that fancy stuff. All we need is one stinking neck joint. No."!He and Jax slam their own heads against the counter, making everyone shocked, as diesel flinched each time, the three walked in confused on what's happening "Why did this happen to us? We're hurting ourselves. Idiot."

Jack Hammer said "Sorry, pal, it's either upgrade or the chop shop for you."

Fender asked "The chop shop?" He cried.

Rodney, Garfield and Odie looked for a part then looked at the crew shocked.

Jax said "We're fine, we're fine." They put their head back on their bodies "Look, no hands. Ta-da! I'm back. Miss me?"

Piper said "No one's going to the chop shop."

Ren said "That's right. What do you think we can get for them? Not that we've been thinking about it-"

Piper asked "Will you stop?" She shoved Ren out of the way then said to Jack Hammer "Listen, shiny pants...you get back there and find a part for my brother. We are not junk, we are not scrap, and we will not be treated this way."

Diesel makes a sassy woman motion with squeaks

Jack Hammer said "I'm sorry. I don't have the parts."

Rodney asked "Well, do you have two washers, an S-spring and some Fastweld?"

Garfield said to Fender and Jax "We can fix you both easily."

Diesel found another voice box then placed it in.

Diesel said in Darth Vader's voice chip "The Force is strong with this one."

Later that day, Rodney fixes up Fender's neck as Garfield was fixing Jax's. Odie holding tools handing them to Rodney and Garfield.

Rodney asked "When was the last time you got oiled?

Fender replied "I really can't say that with my kid sister next to me."

Piper shouted "Can it, Fender!"

Rodney said "Hold still. This might tickle." He and Garfield turns Fender's and Jax's head right side up.

Fender said "We haven't been properly introduced. I'm Fender. Used to be Bumper...but had to change it when we came in to the country."

Jax said "The name's Jax, and you are..."

Rodney said "Copperbottom, Rodney Copperbottom. And this is Garfield and Odie."

Jax asked "Riddle me this: Why did we meet you among the garbage?"

Rodney replied "Well, today we tried to get in to see Bigweld."

Everyone laughed as Diesel played with a ball.

Piper said "Well, if you find him, tell him we really need him to come back. He cared about bots like us."

Crank said "I heard they've done him in and left the rest of us to fall apart."

Dog grabbed the ball when diesel tossed it high.

Rodney finishes fixing Fender's as Garfield fixed Jax's neck "Well, that ought to do it."

Fender said "Look at that! And they fixed our necks." They twirl their necks around then spot something "Sweeper!" Everyone gasped in fear.

Rodney asked "Sweeper?"

Garfield asked "What's a sweeper?"

A sweeper was driving down the road.

Jax said "Make yourself scarce."

The gang ran for cover as the sweeper passed by.

Rodney asked "What's the big deal?"

Ragatha replied "Well, if you're an outmode like Fender or Jax..."

Fender and Jax said "Hey."

Zooble said "They sweep you up and take you to the chop shop."

Kinger said "Where they melt you down and turn you into something else."

Garfield asked "You mean...?"

Diesel makes a death motion.

Gangle said "Yep."

Fender muttered "Sweepers. Sweepers." He walks out onto the street and yells out "Help. Here's one outmode you're not gonna get." He shakes his butt at the sweeper "Na-na-na-na-na-na! Na-na-na-na.." then it falls off "Whoops."

The sweeper stops and drives backwards. Everyone stared in fear.

Piper shouted "Fender, run!"

Fender grabs his butt and he and the gang run off to a house. Everyone panted and laughed.

Piper said "That was close."

Fender said "When in Robot City, guests of the Rusties... That's us. Stay at Aunt Fanny's boarding house, where our motto is: "Beats rusting outside.""

They enter the house.

Fender said "Let me just let her know you're here. Aunt Fanny! We brought someone."

Aunt Fanny said offscreen "I'm in the kitchen."

Rodney asked "Are you sure your aunt won't mind?"

Fender said "Relax, she's not our aunt."

Jax said "She just takes in bots who are broke. Bless her little heart."

Rodney asked "Well, then why is she called Aunt Fanny?"

Fender said "We couldn't call her Aunt Booty."

Garfield exclaimed "Woah!"

They enter the kitchen, where they find a big-bottom caboosed robot. This was Aunt Fanny. The aunt tries to maneuver around the kitchen, only for her big butt to bump into some things.

Aunt Fanny said "Oh, scrap."

Piper comes in "She's a little artsy-fartsy. The artsy's okay, but when she gets fartsy..." she then leaves. Everyone jumped at the bumping.

Aunt Fanny said "Look at... Oh, right on my shoes. I'm so clumsy. Well, hello there. What's your name?"

Rodney said "I'm Rodney Bigbottom... No, I'm Rodney Copperbottom. Copperbottom. And this is Garfield the Cat, and Odie the Dog."

Aunt Fanny said "That's a wonderful name, Bigbottom." her bottom bumps Rodney and the pets against the wall "Well, I just..." she turns around and their paint scrapes on the wall" "What happened to your friends?"

Fender said "They've been rear-ended."

Aunt Fanny sees Rodney, Garfield, and Odie after they fall over. "Oh, there you are." Jax and fender helped them up.

Jax said "Aunt Fanny, they need a place to stay."

Aunt Fanny said "Well, just make yourself at home."

Rodney said "Thank you. That's very kind of you."

Aunt Fanny said "My pleasure. See a need, fill a need."

Rodney said "Hey, just like Bigweld."

Aunt Fanny said "Bigweld. That's a lot of robot."

Garfield shouted "Oh no, no, no, wait!"
She turns and her bottom slams the five onto the couch.

Fender said "Come on. You can bunk with us."

Jax said "We'll ignore the gossip."

They got up and pulls a lever to bring down a room. This brings down Piper's room, where she was putting on makeup.

Fender said "You missed a spot."

Piper screamed "Fender, Jax, get out of my room!"

Fender said "We're not in your room." They steps their feet into her room "I am now. They stepped out "Now I'm not." Steps in "I am." Steps out "Not." Steps in "Am..."

Piper said as she points her hair polisher menacingly "Get out of my room."

Fender and Jax then pull the lever and bring up another room. Although, this was the bathroom, where Ren was doing his business.

Ren exclaimed "Hey! Let me finish, or I'll slap you both silly!"

Fender and Jax chuckled nervously "Oop, Sorry."

Finally, they bring down their bedroom. As the three were shocked.

Jax said "Here we are. Home sweet home."

Fender throws out his arms "What's ours is yours." His arms fall off "Oh, dear."

Rodney said "We'll get them."

Odie followed the arms trying to catch them, as Garfield tried to grab one.

Fender sees his arms wrestling each other "Look at that. Now they're arm-wrestling. Could you separate them? Hurry, my backside itches."
