lol it's been a minute since i've updated this story. going to write a few more chapters and finish it. sorry it's been so long

JJ's POV:

Kie and I settled on our location for the wedding, Finland. It was where we first confessed our feelings and there was this gorgeous venue there. We planned it a few months out and we really didn't care because we just wanted to get married.

In the meantime, Kie told me she was going to start working at the Wreck to make money. I didn't want her working but I also wasn't going to tell her about the money. So I told her that I had one more trip planned for us.

I had bought a fancy converted van and we were just going to drive around the country and hit some of the states. She was worried about paying for it and thought we should stop spending so much money.

I told her I had a few grand left and this was something I needed to do. I think she was getting suspicious about the money because I literally should have nothing and I've been traveling and spending money like crazy.

The pogues told me I should have Kie sign a prenuptial agreement so if anything happened like we got divorced, she couldn't take any of the money. But the thing was she didn't know about the money. She isn't with me because of the money.

I don't want her to freak out about the money so I was waiting to tell her after the wedding. We got the van all ready and we just started driving. We were heading up towards Maine first and making plans to visit Pope in college.

We spent two months in the van and then we headed home as we flew to Finland in a few days. We packed our bags and got on the plane. We were getting married in a week and it was super lowkey, kinda shocked me how much Kie didn't care.

I mean that in a good way. She wanted it small and simple, she didn't care about having a fancy wedding or dress. The wedding was going to be perfect. Our friends flew out and so did Kie's family. We were all staying at a hotel in the city. It was your typical hotel room, little did Kie know but I got us the igloo hotel for our wedding night.

Kie's POV:

Everyone was in Finland and we had the rehearsal dinner. Tomorrow was the big day. We only had like fifteen people and it was everything I've ever wanted. I was wearing a super simple dress. I hoped JJ liked it because it was so simple.

We weren't doing bridesmaids or groomsmen or anything like that. We both wanted simple, especially because I'm pretty sure we are almost out of money. I know I am and JJ's gotta be close.  It was honestly stressing me out. 

Sarah did my hair and makeup and then my dad came in to walk me down. When JJ saw me, he was trying not to get emotional and it was adorable. I'm just glad he liked the dress because it wasn't even technically a wedding dress.

We said our vows and JJ made me cry, his were so sweet. We kissed and we were officially married. I was Kiara Anna Maybank and I couldn't be happier. The venue was at a little restaurant with a gorgeous scenery. We did hire a professional photographer and we got some amazing pictures. We ate, and danced, and our friends all gave speeches. My parents also gave a nice speech welcoming JJ into our family. 

That night, we were going to go back to the hotel but a helicopter showed up and landed. JJ looked at me and said, "Come on, I have a surprise for you"

We hugged everyone and JJ helped me onto the helicopter. We got all settled in and situated and we took off. JJ informed me he was taking me somewhere special. I had no idea where we were headed but I didn't care. I'd go anywhere with him. We were in the air for a bit before I recognized we were in the snowy part of the county. We were above the igloos when we first confessed our feelings and where we first had sex.

We landed and got our bags. JJ checked in and we went to our igloo. I was on a huge adrenaline high.

"How the fuck did you get a helicopter ride?"

"We'll talk about that later, right now I just want you"

We were making out and he removed my dress and said, "By the way, you are the most beautiful bride"  

We had the best sex in our little igloo where you could see the northern lights. We laid in bed after and I was in his arms. 

"Kie, there's something I gotta tell you" He said getting super serious

"What?" I asked concerned thinking of every possible worst-case scenario
