Ruling Lycans
Nico glared at his father. The 6'1 wolf named Jericho did the same. They were family. They were gangsters. They did not see eye to eye often. Nico himself was 5'11, so he had to look up at his father slightly. You trained for this your whole life. He thought. He wants you to become the second in command. One thing Nico could never bring himself to say, he was bisexual. It wasn't a crime for a Lycan to not be straight, but Jericho hated anyfur not straight.
Nico touched the grey Lycan tattoo on his neck. It just said Lycan, but it meant the world to the gang. His yellow and blue fur neatly sleeked back. He wore his Black and white Rock & Republic shirt and white jeans with a black hat on with a silver Jordan sign.
"You know that I am proud of you, right, Dominic Magnus?" His father finally said.
"Yes, Dad. I'm finna do this for us. So we can rule the Lycans together. You the leader, me second-in-command. Both of us in the first ring." Nico answered, flinching when his father used his full name. It was something that only his mom did before she died. Ever since, his father then proceeded to enforce Lycan lifestyles on Nico.
"That's right. Now, all you need to do is say the Lycan creed." Jericho reminded.
"I know, Dad. I'll be fine." Nico said, his thoughts elsewhere.
He was still a bit heartbroken when Daniel left him a year ago. He was lucky his father never found out. One, because Nico would probably be dead, and two, Daniel would be since he was a rivaling gang. It was the hardest secret to keep, but he did it. Daniel helped him see that maybe being a gang member was not their lives. Maybe there was more to them than guns and money and killing other furs.
Nico's brother, Aris, told him tat he was looking for someone new for Nico to meet. He thanked him, but didn't appreciate it. Nico never held relationships too long. His longest was with Daniel for about 2 years. He was 19 now, still in high school after failing his sophomore year. That was all to change. He planned on that.
"Let's get started." Jericho stated, pulling out his phone to record Nico saying the creed. "Begin, son."
"I....I, Dominic Magnus, swear my loyalty to none other than the Lycans. My blood, body, and soul be my testament to my word. None shall phase me, none shall make me fear. I oppress all others evils. To the Lycans will glory fall, and to envious ears, may they hear our truth. For all others are false, lies to our testimony." Nico recited, howling at the end.
"Well done, my son." Jericho growled. "Now you may go. Bring us the head of a Dorado, and your promotion will be complete."
None were ready to see the bloodied head of not just any Dorado, but their leader, Leonidas. Nico grinned savagely, proud of his work. Still, he couldn't shake one thought Daniel told him before they broke up.
Your gang isn't how they make themselves seem. I can sense it. Don't turn like them.
It was the one thing Nico kept his word to sine they broke up.
