Caught Up

Chantel was awoken by the yelling of her sister. She jumped in her sleep, Julian still cuddled her waist.

"Julian, wake up!" Chantel frantically said making him snap awake.

"What?" He sleepily asked.

Chantel could hear the footsteps of her sister. The time read six am. She should have been up to get ready for school.

"My sisters coming. Get in the closet." Chantel said trying to pull him up.

Julian willingly got up and went inside her closet. Chantel shut the closet door and got under her covers and pretended to be sleep.

Cherise opened the door and inspected the room. She smiled knowing Chantel wasn't with Julian.

"Wake up!" Cherise said.

Chantel faked waking up. She rubbed the crust from her eyes and looked at her sister.

"What's going on?" She asked noticing Cherise had something to say.

"You need to stop fucking with Julian." Cherise said putting her skinny hands on her petite waist.

Chantel raised her eyebrow. She didn't know what the fuck Cherise was talking about. As far as Chantel knew, Julian was a good guy.

"Why? I like him." Chantel said starting to make her bed.

Cherise followed Chantel to the bathroom. Chantel quickly brushed her teeth and washed her face with hot water.

"Because he does bad things." Cherise said with no evidence.

"Like what? Do you even know what you're talking about?" Chantel challenged.

Cherise sucked her teeth. She just wished Chantel would listen to her. Because soon Cherise would be helping put Julian behind bars, with or without her sisters consent.

"If I make a mistake by liking him, then let me learn." Chantel said going into her room to dress for school.

Cherise shook her head and went to her room to sleep. After slamming the door, Cherise laid in her bed and quickly fell asleep.

Chantel opened the closet to see that Julian as still there. He leaned against her clothes sleeping.

Chantel poked his chest. He woke up and went back to Chantel's bed. Julian thought that her bed was more comfortable than his.

Maybe that's because if felt at home when he was with Chantel.

"Close your eyes." Chantel said holding her uniform.

Julian sucked his teeth and put his head under the covers. Chantel turned her back to him and tried to change.

Julian slyly peeked over the covers seeing Chantel change. He smirked as she tried to fit her butt into her pants.

Chantel turned around and Julian put his head back under the covers. Once Chantel was finished and ready for school she snuck Julian downstairs.

Tiny and Octavia were waiting for her outside. They looked at Julian and Chantel in awe. The two girls walked down the steps to give them some privacy.

"We need to go on another date." Julian said.

Chantel playfully rolled her eyes. "This time let me pick where we go."

Julian nodded his head. He watched as Chantel met up with her friends and walked to the bus stop.

"Where's Asia?" Chantel asked.

Tiny twisted her lips to the side in disgust. She knew she would have to tell Chantel. Fuck it.

"Asia ain't here because she's jealous." Tiny blurted out as they got on the bus.

"Of what?" Chantel asked confused.

Chantel thought Asia was a friend, not an enemy. At least Chantel knew not to be friends with Asia.

"Because you got Julian on lock and she don't." Octavia said as they sat down in the seats.

Chantel shrugged her shoulders. She already knew Julian wouldn't fuck with girls like Asia. They weren't his type.

Soon after Lucas and Demetri boarded the bus. Instead Demetri sat with his friend, Harper. He didn't feel like dealing with his other friends at the moment.

Chantel guessed that he was still hurt after what Julian did.

Cherise sat in her car following Julian around during the day. So far she had gotten nothing to report back.

All Julian did was meet with business men and they always spoke inside.

"Draco, my main man. What's good?" Lance said, calling Julian by his street name.

They sat in Julian's club. Some soft classical music played while they talked. Julian sipped his water.

"Nothing much. What's the deal?" Julian asked straight up.

"The precinct got this new cat coming in and telling everyone off. I would tell you to be careful, but you already know how it goes." Lance said rubbing his hands together.

Julian nodded his head. Lance worked as a undercover "cop", slipping information back to Julian. In return Julian made sure Lance's family was well taken care of.

"Who is this new cat?" Julian asked.

"Remy Moore." He said.

Alarms went off in Julian's head. That's why Remy had come back to town. To fuck around on Julian.

He already knew what he had to do. He would take the bitch out. Today. After the meeting Julian got into his car.

He sped off towards Remy's apartment building. Cherise followed Julian, making sure to keep her distance.

Julian smirked knowing Cherise was following him. He had seen her all day. From the jump he knew that Cherise was a opp after what she said this morning.

So Julian swerved around the streets, confusing the hell out of Cherise. She finally stopped following him.

Julian took this opportunity to got to see Remy. Remy played Chris Brown loudly as she cooked.

Julian made sure no one saw him as he entered the building. He knocked on Remy's door. She opened it, surprised to see Julian.

"You finally came to your senses." Remy seductively said.

Julian raised his golden glock at her face. She gasped moving back into the dirty apartment. He kept quiet just in case there was recorders anywhere.

After checking the place clean, Julian closed the door.

"You a opp?" He asked making her jump.

"N-no." Remy hesitated.

Julian rolled his eyes. He pulled the trigger. Remy laid dead on the red couch. Blood stained her clothes.

Julian knew she was lying once she hesitated. And he always trusted Lance, he was never wrong. Now he would have to worry about Chantel's dumb sister.
