What Did I Do?

Sitting around the table for lunch, the maknaes huddle close and start discussing female anatomy, and the debate is getting loud enough that you hear JK mention a part of your body. With a fork full part way to your mouth, you stop, frozen in embarrassment. You glance around the table, and the others are all eyes on you, except JK, Jimin, and V, deep in their debate.

You see sympathy and shock in their eyes. Your face is beet red, and you can feel the heat of your cheeks. You slowly lay your fork down and stand, and with barely controlled calmness, you say, "Excuse me, I, I'm going home."

JK catches that going home part, and his head snaps in your direction, "You can't go home. We have plans today."

The hyungs look at him in surprise and anger after what he was talking about. It also showed them that the maknae line was so caught up in their rivalry that they forgot you were in the room. It upset them, especially Jin and Yoongi. The older members turn their gazes back on you.

Seeing the older members staring at you with sympathy makes you even more embarrassed. You don't want their sympathy or pity, so forcing a smile, you tell them, "I'm going home now, guys. I'm not feeling well. Um, I will see you tomorrow."

You turn to face J-Hope. "Hobi, we can review those new steps tomorrow."

He sadly nods and reaches out to squeeze your hand. He feels you trembling and says, trying to sound cheerful, "That is awesome. I can't wait."

With that, you turn to leave; hearing the others calling goodbye, Jungkook sees you are leaving. He goes to run after you, but Yoongi grabs hold of his overly large shirt. "Sit, little maknae! Sit now."

"But hyung, I have to go . . ."

Yoongi, frustrated and angered by their games, yells at JK, "I said sit!" Jimin and Taehyung look at each other, eyes wide, with surprise at Yoongi raising his voice.

Jungkook returns to his chair, watching you leave with wide doe eyes. What did I do?

The maknae line has been making bets with each other on who can win at the most outrageous thing they can think of. The competition is getting fierce, and the hyungs are tired of it. They were acting like juveniles. Sure, they were letting off steam, but they were starting to get a little carried away. When it was just between them, no one was getting hurt, but now their games were affecting Joy, Sindy, and Izzy.

It all started when haters were flooding social media with lewd and negative comments about the three being lovers. Pissed off about it, they started doing questionable things to taunt the haters. As things progressed, the haters and their comments were long forgotten, but the competitiveness that formed between them became their main focus. They each tried to out do the other coming up with challenges to prove who could be better.

Whether it was to out-dance the other, see who could go the longest without eating, or who could drink the most shots of Soju before passing out, it just kept growing.

This time, based on some standard they had previously agreed upon, they created a scoring system for whose girlfriend has the best parts. This was the theme of their current debate.

You leave the dining hall embarrassed and hurt. You look around, hoping no one else has heard what the three are saying. You're aware of their little boyish games, and most of the time, you just roll your eyes at their silliness. But as time went on their so called games became major challenges they would bet on as to who could win.

You leave the building and head home. On your way, you group call Sindy and Izzy, hoping to devise a way to stop the craziness. You tell them what happened at lunch, and they both agree that they need to take action to stop the silly games boys play. But first, they are meeting at your home to offer comfort because they could barely understand what you were saying while crying.

It was agreed that a bottle of wine was also needed, and Sindy and Izzy were going to pick one up on their way to your place.
