Cale met Pika in the shooting gallery. He had watched two videos on some Helidan tricks then tried them and game and they seemed to work. One was where you would throw a grenade close to yourself then use the speed burst and it would actually kick the grenade in whichever direction you were facing. The other one was a bit more complicated, but you would run at them then double jump (only if you have the perk equipped) do a one-eighty turn and use speed burst, then you should be behind them and you can shoot them in the back.

   "Hey Pika," Cale said, wondering what they were going to do today.

   "I was thinking you could try fighting me today, and we could see how you do," Pika responded.  

   "Um sure, but can I show you a few things I learned over the week?" Cale said, hoping they worked.

   "Ok let's go to the practice map," Pika responded, curious what Cale was going to show her.

   First Cale showed her the grenade kick trick. He threw a grenade in front of him and then used his speed burst to kick it forward. The grenade flew towards Pika, but she must have already known the trick because she moved away.

   "A lot of people know this trick and it works great if your opponent doesn't know about it." "The problem is, most people already know this trick and I'm surprised you didn't know about it already," Pika said, a little disappointed in Cale.

   Cale showed her the second trick, where you would run at them then double jump do a one-eighty turn, then use speed burst, then you should be behind them and you can shoot them. Cale tried it, but he messed up on the one eighty and Pika shot him in the back. 

   "I've seen this one a few times, but every time I end up killing them because of it. If the player is fighting someone else, doing something else, or even not paying attention, then you'll be able to take them by surprise and kill them, but any half decent player would find the vulnerability of when you're doing the one eighty and shoot you." Pika said, emphasizing the last part to make sure Cale never did this trick again.

   Now he was going to try fighting Pika, even though he knew he had to no chance. He hoped that within the next month with Pika's help he could become a better player and see Wolf again.

   It had been over a month since his first training session with Pika. He had improved so much over the last months and he had a lot more fun playing the game. He had beaten Pika 7 times in their skirmishes, but his pride always diminished when he remembered she had beat him 32 times. Sometimes he looked back and thought about how lucky he was to meet Wolf in the game and then become a good player by training with Pika.

   Pika had told Wolf about how Cale had improved a lot, and he had agreed to have Cale play with him in one of his streams on Saturday.  Cale was so excited that he would get to play with Wolf on stream. He wanted to show Wolf how good he was on stream, then maybe he would play with him more. Cale had three days to prep and get ready to show the world his skills.
