Afterward, Taehyung decided to take a shower while Jungkook copied phone numbers of Yoongi and the other boys from Taehyung's phone. Well... and Taehyung's number too.

Ever since Jungkook escaped from the boss's control and deleted the game, he felt a heavy weight lift off his shoulder. Relief was what he felt, yet he was still afraid of staying with a group of boys he barely knew. Especially when he was about to for the night with one of them.

Also, Jungkook just found out that... the room that the Sejin gave literally only had one king-sized bed.

Jungkook cursed internally, searching around the place for another bedroom. Nope. It's just one. friggin'. bed.

"Just great..." he mumbled. At the same time, Taehyung went out of the bathroom with a robe on. The boy ruffled his own wet hair, the bathrobe revealed parts of his chest. Jungkook sucked a breath to prevent his cheeks from blushing.

"D-dude, wear something." Jungkook tore his eyes away from the boy, staring at the ceiling.

Taehyung wore his slippers casually. "My old clothes are dirty, you probably should wear a robe too."

"W-what! No, I won't." Jungkook closed his eyes. There's no way he's gonna wear a bathrobe in front of Taehyung. He literally just met the boy few days ago.

Taehyung ignored his response, motioning him to get in the shower next. The boy nodded his head as he hurried to the bathroom.

"Oh! And by the way," Jungkook stopped at the door, pointing at the bed. "Uh, you do realize there is only one bed... right?"

"What's wrong with having one be- oH shit.  Damn it, Sejin." Taehyung cursed under his breath, getting the room phone to call the guy.  It wasn't long before Taehyung groaned and hung up.

"What.  What did he say?" Jungkook asked.

"Nothing." Taehyung passed by casually, though Jungkook could see the slight blush of his cheeks.

Jungkook looked at the bed concerningly, noting that one of them would probably have to sleep on the floor.  "It's fine hyung, I can sleep on the floor."

Taehyung nodded his head in response and Jungkook went to shower.

It wasn't long before Jungkook came back from shower and saw Taehyung lying on the floor with a blanket over him.

"Tae, I said you can take the bed.  I'll sleep on the fl-"

"Just get on the bed, Jungkook," Taehyung insisted in a low husky tone, which made Jungkook think of other things...  The boy wacked his head internally for thinking too much and got on the bed, turning off the lights.

"Are you really sure this is okay?" Jungkook asked, feeling a little guilty.

"Yeah." Taehyung replied shortly.

"But the floor seems a little-"

Just then, Jungkook felt the bed shift from the weight of the older next to him.  "You happy now, Jungkook?" Taehyung's low voice was right next to his ear.

Jungkook's breath hitched, "Y-yeah."

"Kick me if I hug you."

"W-whAT?" Jungkook flinched a little.

"Nothing.  Goodnight."

The next morning, the sound of Taehyung's phone vibration woke Jungkook.

Somehow Jungkook found Taehyung hugging his legs, his body upside down.  "Huh?"

Jungkook fidgeted his legs a little, waking Taehyung.  He mumbled something but Jungkook was too tired to catch those words.

"Taehyung, wake up.  Someone's calling you." Jungkook nudged the older with his foot.

"Mmmmh- later."

Jungkook kicked the older.

"OW! What the fu- oh." Taehyung lazily shifted over Jungkook's side of the bed, reaching over to the desk for his phone.  The boy's upper body was practically on top of Jungkook, who was lying on his bed... trying his best to seem like it's no big deal.

At the same time, Taehyung's robe was loose from last night, which exposed his tan chest.  Jungkook looked away, thinking about other things to distract himself such as hmm how cute Taehyung's dog Yeontan was... in fact, the dog does look a little like Taehyung... the eyebrows...  Jungkook's eyes accidentally hovered at the boy again.  Shit shit shit..

"Probably have to take the other route.  Okay, okay, gotcha.  See you."  Taehyung mumbled through the phone before ending the conversation.  At last, the boy leaned away from the desk and Jungkook.  Jungkook internally sighed with relief.

Taehyung ruffled his own brown hair, shifting his glance to Jungkook, "Some updates from Namjoon.  Your mom.  That bitch is still fuckin' alive."

Jungkook cursed.  He honestly didn't think his mom would die from the gunshot, though he did regret not killing her off.  His mom was nothing but trouble to him and his friends, it was best if she was out of this picture.  He could have ended this all, but instead, Jungkook panicked and only focused on shooting the damn woman.  In the end, she was hit on the upper shoulder.

"She's planning on killing us.  She's sending boss's troops everywhere looking for us."

Jungkook flumped back on the bed, staring at the ceiling.  Just great... now they were both in big trouble.  And it was all because of him.

Taehyung, who was sitting up on the bed, looked down at the boy.  "Now's too early for us to get to Yoongi and the others.  We probably have to stay here another night just to be safe."

Without a reply, Jungkook got up from the bed to get his phone.  Though, before he could Taehyung grabbed his arm to stop him.  "Jungkook, you okay?"

"Yeah," Jungkook said quietly, avoiding Taehyung's eyes.

Taehyung approached the boy, gently patting his back.  "Don't be scared, Jungkook.  Yoongi knows how to get us out of here.  But for now, we must wait."

"But what if he's..." Jungkook's voice trailed, avoiding the boy's eyes.

It took Taehyung a while to realize what the boy meant.  "You still don't trust them, don't you?"

Jungkook fumbled his hands, looking down.  "Y-Yeah."

Taehyung placed his hand on Jungkook's shoulder searched for the boy's eyes, "Then... at least trust me."

Jungkook finally looked up at Taehyung, revealing his clear round eyes.  "I- trust you." Taehyung noticed Jungkook a little hesitant with his answer.  To add on, Taehyung did feel bad for giving Jungkook bad news in the morning.  It's been quite a while since he saw Jungkook smile.

"Loosen up, Kook.  I'm suffocating here!" Taehyung let the nickname slip, causing Jungkook to smile a little.

Just then, Taehyung briefly held the boy's shoulder's in excitement, "Hey! Tell you what, stay right here."  Taehyung bolted out the room without a response, causing Jungkook to tilt his head in wonder.

It wasn't long until Jungkook heard the faint ding sound of the elevator arriving at their floor and the sound of a... dog barking outside?

The door slammed open from Taehyung's kick, where he was holding the puppy in his arms.  "Tannie, baby, say helloooo to Jungkook!"

Jungkook's eyes sparked in surprise and excitement.  "Yeontan!"  Taehyung let the puppy go, and it ran wild on the floor.  The dog ran a full circle around the room until it came back to Taehyung and Jungkook and pounced on Jungkook, causing him to fall back.  "OOF."

And that's how the two boys played with the dog for the entire afternoon.  Of course, they did order some black bean noodles midway.  And then they went right back into playing with Yeontan again.

"Hah, Yeontan has never gotten so much attention in a long time." Taehyung said between pants, collapsing to the floor.

Jungkook did the same next to Taehyung, his forehead trickling with sweat.  "What do you mean?"

Taehyung sat up the floor, his arms leaning to support his weight.  "Yeontan has been left here for a while now."

"And Sejin took care of it?"

"Yeah.  Sejin... helped me a lot."  Taehyung's face turned sincere, taking a deep breath.  "I used to live with my parents.  But then I got sick of them and decided to live off somewhere else by myself."

"That must be hard for you."

"It is, but then I met Sejin in a bar, who just so happens to be the manager of this hotel and he gave me a place to stay here for a few days until I get a job.  It was an act of pity, I'm sure.  But to this day I'm still thankful he did that."

Taehyung rustled his fluffy hair before continuing.  "And so I did what he told and got a job for fixing broken computers.  Earned me enough money to rent one of the apartment rooms.  Though unfortunately, they didn't allow dogs."

Jungkook pouted, Taehyung smiled at his reaction.  "So I left Yeontan in Sejin's place where he takes care of it.  I come as often as possible to see my little one and to check on my bud Sejin."

"And then you got... kidnapped."  Jungkook continued, voice trailing.

Taehyung nodded his head.  "Ever since I got kidnapped, I've lost my chances to meet those two."

"How long... have you been kidnapped?"

The boy hesitated before answering.  "A year or so."

"Oh.  I'm sorry."

"Don't be.  It's all over now."

There was a long silence between the boys as Jungkook petted the puppy.

It wasn't long before Taehyung broke the silence, "So, Jungkook.  What about you?  What's your story?"  The boy swung his arm around Jungkook, showing his comfort with him.

So Jungkook told him about his relationship with his parents.  How his mother left him and his father neglected him.  Though, in the end, things between him and his father were getting better.  Only to fall again when he was forced to betray his father.

Taehyung, who had been patiently listening to each word nodded as the boy spoke.  "I understand what you're feeling, Kook.  Sometimes I wish my parents would care about me a little more.  Not just from the money slapped on me."

Jungkook felt the relief that he was telling Taehyung these things.  To be honest, he had never shared about his family to anyone in his life.  Somehow, telling Taehyung these things and also listening to his story was nice.

"Kook, you crying?"

Jungkook realized a tear trickling down his cheek.  He smiled bitterly, looking away to wipe his tears.  Taehyung's arm, which was around Jungkook's shoulder, brought the boy closer to his chest.  "Aw no.  Why you crying?"

Jungkook laughed while sniffling, "No... it's just that... I-I've never shared such things with anyone before."  Taehyung's heart softened at those words, feeling bad that not a single person in his life had taken their time to care for the poor boy.  He deserves so much... so much more.

"I'll listen to you, Jungkook.  You can tell me anything.  Anything."
