Kawaii~Chan
I always knew Zane would give in.
"Ha! Checkmate!" I cried with glee.
Zane grunted and threw his hands in the air.
"How?! Why?!"
I giggled. Zane was always bad at chess, but I guess Aphmau was always worse. I had started to set up a new game when Zane's phone rang.
"Excuse me Kawaii~Chan."
I smiled and watched him settle in the corner and answer. I listened as closely as I could.
"Oh, hey Aphmau!"
Silence.
"What do you mean?"
Silence.
"You're in the hospital?! When?! Are you okay?!"
Silence. Zane's face went pale (as if it wasn't pale enough already).
"Wh-what are you talking about?"
Silence.
"There was another bombing? Do we know who did it?"
Silence.
"Aaron, well serves him right, he.... Wait, what?! You think it was me?! But I've been with Kawaii~Chan this whole time! I didn't even know it had happened!"
Silence.
"Aphmau, calm down, you're still in shock, get some rest, we can talk some more when you're thinking a little more sensibly."
He hung up and buried his head in his hands.
Zane
I couldn't believe she had figured it out, how though? I couldn't let anyone know about this.
"Zane~Kun? Is everything alright? Did you say Aphmau~Chan was in the hospital?"
"Yes, she is, turns out there was another bombing at Falcon Claw, Aaron is the main suspect, the police found him crushing Aphmau with a large piece of debris."
I turned to Kawaii~Chan only to see her eyes start to well up with tears.
"B-But I'm sure it's just a big misunderstanding!" I cried, trying to calm her down, it just made things worse.
"M-My shippppppppp!!!!!" She started to sob.
I put my arm around her to try and calm her down. I could have sworn she grew out of that after high school, but I guess not. Rumor has it she keeps something dangerous in hiding, they call it a shipping shrine, I'm not quite sure I want to know what that means.
"Z-Zane~Kun, can I show you something?" She asked, wiping her eyes with a pink handkerchief.
My eyes widened. Not the shrine!
"Nope! Sorry no time, gotta go!" I bolted from the building as fast as I could with he crying after me,
"But what about our chess game?!"

Aphmau
He hung up, he actually hung up! I couldn't believe it, he was afraid! I pressed the room service button and when the nurse entered I asked if I could speak to Zoe.
A few minutes later, Zoe walked in and sat by the side of my bed.
"I know what you're gonna ask honey." She smirked.
"Please! I'm okay now right? It's been a day since the emergency, remember? You made me promise not to call until a day later, so I waited, please just let me go visit him!"
"Hmmmmm, I mean, you are looking much better, and a few of your minor injuries are starting to heal. But you would need to go in a wheel chair, your legs, arms, and back aren't strong enough yet to try walking, or even crutches, are you okay with that?"
"Are you kidding me?! This is the best day of my life! What are we waiting for?!"

Aaron
My cell seemed to be getting lonelier by the minute, Ein was of in the cafeteria and Travis and Dante were fast asleep. Katelyn would visit several times a day and interrogate me, even though she was supposed to wait for an official session. The one thing I wasn't expecting was to see Daniel running down the hall.
Did he have another message from Aph?!
"Daniel!"
"I *pant* have a *pant* visitor for *pant* you *pant* wow, I really *pant* need to get in shape!" He stood there panting and gasping as I looked to the left of the hall to see a tall, slender blonde woman walking alongside what looked like a wheelchair. Wait, a wheelchair?
From the shadows emerged an angel, her face was a little scratched up, and she couldn't walk, but she was still perfect.
"APHMAU!" I cried out, happy tears streaming down my face.
She looked up and saw me, immediately she tried to go faster, but she couldn't move her arms, so she pretended she was in a race car, which made me laugh.
When she reached the cell bars she turned to face me, her eyes welling up.
"Aaron," she smiled at me. "You were right, I'm so sorry!"
"No," I replied, reaching through the bars to stroke her cheek. "I'm sorry, I said it too suddenly without much of an explanation, I knew he was your best friend, and I said it anyways, I'm begging you to please forgive me."
"Of course, how could I not forgive you?!"
"I don't know I, I just can't wait to get home."
