Aphmau's cheeks turned red with rage.

"Listen, I can explain!" I started to back up.

"I can't believe you, first you lure me into a false sense of security, then you make me fall for you, and then you accuse my BEST FRIEND of being a psychopathic terrorist?! Who do you think you are?!" She roared.

"No! It's not like that! I know it's Zane because my son told me he met a man named Mr. Zane who gave him a present which killed him!" I felt my eyes well up with tears. "You have no idea what it's like to search for years and not find anything about what happened to the only people you loved!"

I realized that was little harsh as soon as she backed away. She then dropped a glass plate I hadn't even noticed she was holding. Snickerdoodle cookies tumbled to the ground as she ran towards the front door. Katelyn tried to stop her but couldn't catch her as Aph rode off on her motorcycle.

"She just needs to blow off some steam...." Katelyn assured me. "Now tell me, what evidence do you have?"

Aphmau
The wind blew through my long straight hair as I zoomed down the street. I soon realized I might have ran a few red lights, but I didn't care, there weren't many in our little town.
I saw KC wave at me from the front of her store as I passed but I ignored it and kept going, further and further into the unknown, soon I would be out of Phoenix Drop, free from all this pain and confusion, just me, the road, and the setting sun.
As I rode on I decided to stop at a small petting zoo a little ways along the road. I parked in the lot and walked through the open doors.

"Hello?" I was greeted by a young red haired girl with a purple apron that had a pink heart on it. As I waved I noticed her rubbing a medium sized bump on her belly and smiled.

"How long has it been?" I asked.

"Excuse me?" She immediately tucked her hands behind her back.

"The baby, how long? Don't worry, I won't judge you."

She smiled and replied, "six months, I love her none the less, even if it was an accident..."

"Hey, don't worry about it, if you wanna look at it like that, then I guess I could be considered and accident."

"Pardon?"

"When my mom was in college she got into a little mess and had more fun than she probably should have, ergo me!"

"Oh, I'm.... Sorry?" I could tell she wasn't sure how to respond. "Do you have any children?"

"I do have an adopted son named Levin, he was left on my doorstep so I took him in."

"That's so sweet!"

"Do you sell pets here?"

"Excuse me?"

"Like dogs and cats and stuff?"

"Yes, I host a wide range of available animals, why?"

"Because I want to get him something, what do you suggest for a three year old?"

"Definitely a corgi."

"Perfect! I love corgis!"

I waved goodbye to the sweet girl at the barn, whose name I had learned was Kiki, and rode further down the road until I came to an abandoned house. It had bricks falling out of it and the foundation was rocking slightly. I assumed this must have been a slight side effect of the bomb is Falcon Claw, which was close enough to here to be possible.
I parked outside and walked up to the big double doors and knocked. There was no answer, I don't know why I was expecting one, how could anyone be living here, it could fall down at any moment.
I went to step inside when I was greeted by a weak voice.
"Hello?" It said.

"Hi!" I replied.

"Oh no, you, whoever you are, you need to leave immediately, it's not safe here!"

"Huh?"

"He might be coming back for me, you need to get away as fasts as you can, I can't escape but there might still be time for you to, you must leave now!"

"I'm not leaving you here, come with me!"

"I can't leave, he got a witch to curse me to stay here until he says I can leave, I'm not going to hurt anyone else!" Little sobbing sounds started coming from a curtain. I walked over to it and pulled it back to reveal a small, transparent child, crying tears that didn't make anything wet.

"Who are you?" I asked him.

"My name is Malachi, I died a long time ago and have been cursed to stay here until he returns, you must leave now!"

"But what about you?"

"I've already told you, I can't leave, you can though!"

"I'll come back for you!" I shouted as I ran back to my motorcycle and started heading back to Phoenix Drop.
As I was riding I noticed a strange light start to grow in the sky.

That's way to fast to be the sunrise...

I rode further on towards Falcon Claw, and that was where I saw it. The whole city (what remained of it after last time) was engulfed in flames, a giant smoke cloud rose into the sky. And that was where I saw him. A shadow against the light, he turned to glare at me and let out the most bloodcurdling laugh I had ever heard.
