"Aphmau!" I ran to be her house as fast as I could.
Before I could ring the doorbell she opened the door in my face.

"What?!" She gasped as she saw me holding my nose.
"Are you okay? I'm so sorry! I just-"

"No it's fine that's not important! But guess what?!"

"What?!"

"I know who killed my family! Who destroyed my town!"

She stared at me in disbelief. The kind of face that said WTH u talking bout?

"And no I'm not insane!"

"Lemme call Katelyn."
She ran off. I tried to catch her but she got extremely slippery for some reason. Like a sweaty fish.
Do fish even sweat? I asked myself.

(Katelyn)
"So, if we circle around here and back...."

Ring! Bum bum bum!
My phone rang.

"My, uh, assistant will now take over to explain, excuse me. Jefffory!"
Jefffory, my boyfriend, rushed over to continue my presentation.

I answered the phone.
"Aph this better be important I was in the middle of a presentation!"

"Trust me it is!" Aphmaus voice sounded from the phone.

"Well then, what's up?!"

"Aaron figured out the bomber!"

I dropped my phone. After almost a year of searching, we could finally end this. I quickly picked it back up.

"I'm coming over!" I shout and hang up before another word can be said.

I rushed into the board room where Jefffory stopped talking and joined everyone else in staring at me in confusion. My hair was ruffled like I had just come out of a lions den.

"Katie, are you alright?" Jeffory asked me politely.

"Yes, I'm fine, but I have to go, I'm sorry but it's urgent!" I ran out the door, down the hall, and across the street to Willow Drive.

"Are you sure you know who it is?"

"Positive!" He looked at me with a concerned face.
"Hey Aph, can I ask you something."

"Yes!" I reply as quickly as possible.

"No matter what happens here today, no matter who the bomber is, do you still love me?"

I stared at him. And then I remembered. That one day we had confessed our feelings for each other.

"Yes....." I responded, tears in my eyes.

I leaned over from where I was sitting on the couch and touched my nose with hers.

Her breathing softened and slowed to the same pace as mine.

"Kiss me...." She breathed. Just like in high school.

I smiled and closed in. Our lips touched. It had been so long since I had felt like this.
They were soft. And they tasted like candy canes. Like how my wife's had. I let a tear trickle down my cheek.

I remembered this situation. When we first kissed in high school. It was my first kiss then. And it felt like that moment all over again.

This feeling. It was so simple, yet so pleasing.
It felt good. I loved him and he loved me back.
The kiss was long a passionate. Just like our first one had been. His lips were soft and smooth.
He still was a good kisser, even after all these years.

The doorbell rang.
I pulled away and bit my lip. He smiled that sweet smile of his.
Stood up to answer the door. It was Katelyn.

"Okay!" She burst into the living room and glared at Aaron.

I knew that look.

"So?! Who is it?!" Katelyn demanded.

I looked up at Aphmau, giving her the "I hope you remember what you promised" look and sighed.

"Zane Ro'Meave of O'Khasis."
