"You take his place when the time comes. Next week your up." Herobrine said swiftly before slamming the iron door shut behind him leaving us in the pitch black. I sighed looking at the boy now safely in my arms, "your safe Gameknight..." I told his sleeping form softly coming through his hair. "I'll always protect you. No matter what. I promise. I'll protect you at all costs... Because that's how much I love you." I held Gameknight close combing through his matted hair as he had for once a good nights rest.

I kissed his forehead pulling his head to my chest. I held him close still thinking that he was going to be taken from me somehow if I ended up falling asleep. After a few hours, Gameknights beautiful brown eyes opened to meet mine a sleepy look on his face. He yawned before wrapping his arms around me his fingers running gently through my tangled hair, "hunter.." He whispered softly as he closed his eyes again nuzzling his face into my cheek as a soft giggle cut through the din.

I smiled softly at him cupping his face in my hands as he continued to giggle softly curling into my side. "hi Gameknight, you feeling better?" He nodded softly "your safe and sound that always makes me feel better!" I nodded at him thinking if only that were true. As I locked my eyes with Gameknights smiling face I couldn't help but let the words tumble out of my mouth.

"I love you." Gameknights face turned pink as he looked at me in alarm, "w-what?" I grabbed his face in my hands sitting up. "I love you. I love you Gameknight. I always have, I always will. I'll always protect you. I promise, even if it puts me in harm's way. I love you." Thoughts were the only words I was able to get out before his lips meet mine.
