Chapter 1
My apologies, you don't meet Cry in this first chapter, in fact he isn't mentioned in this chapter. But I promise, he will be in chapter 2!
~Pie Princess
You wake up with a terrible throbbing in your head and your leg feels like it may as well fall off. Your eyes flutter open only to see blurs of dark blue. You try again, this time, your eyes start to focus more on your surroundings.
You fully open your eyes, and your facing the back of a car seat, although you didn't remember anything about a car before you woke up.
You turn your head slowly, every move making your head throb which makes you groan in pain. You finally face the window and look outside, it's dawn and you inspect more outside, trees are surrounding you. You must have been out for a long time since the last you remember it was morning.
"Why does my leg hurt so bad..." You think to yourself.
You move your head so your facing down and looking at your leg, it's ingured pretty badly. There is a huge blood stain along your denim jeans, caused by a long deep cut.
"How the hell did this happen?" You have so many questions that you know cannot be answered. This all seems so familiar, but you decide to shrug the feeling off.
Your head throbs in pain as you lean forward to see if anyone is in the driver's seat. The seat belt had been ripped so you can easily lean forward. "So much for seat belts..."
To your surprise, nobody is in the front seat of the car. You look out the front window and see a blood trail that leads to... a cop. He doesn't move.
You put both hands over your mouth, trying to stop yourself from screaming. You now know why this place looks so familiar. You've seen it too many times.
The Walking Dead.
You feel tears run down your cheek, slowly blurring your vision. How could this have happened? And why you?
You work the courage to look outside the window a little longer, and you spot a shotgun lying on the ground outside.
"Why would the cop have his gun out in the first place? Or maybe it could have just got tossed out of the car during the crash..." So many thoughts cloud your head.
You look at the cop. You know what is coming next.
The blood trail looks as if he hasn't been tossed out of the car but something has dragged him out and killed him.
You reach for the handle on the door, but then realize that you have cuffs on.
"Oh, great. I just have to play the position of Lee, don't I?" You say sarcastically in your head.
You stare at the door and then back at the cuffs you are wearing. You get an idea. You shuffle around the seat so your feet are prepared to kick the living heck out of the window. You start kicking as hard as possible. After four hard kicks at the window, it breaks. You sigh a relieved sigh and crawl towards the window.
When your close enough to the window you haul yourself out of the car.
You move yourself around the other side of the car, using the car as support because of your leg. You see a shotgun to your left, you bend down, earning a slight crack from your leg, and grab it. You instantly frown when you realize it's empty.
There is no point on holding onto it, the handcuffs just making it impossible to carry. You put it back down and leave it for now, because there will be a use for it later.
You continue looking on the ground for supplies and just to see what you could use that would be helpful. You spot a shotgun shell to the right of the shotgun. You're guessing that it will make things easier later, as far as you can remember in the game. You walk over to it, and grab it.
Building up the guts, you walk over to the dead cop. Your eyes widen as you see that he has the keys to the handcuffs on his belt. You pick them up and start to use them on your handcuffs. You accidentally drop them in front of the dead cop's face.
You hesitantly grab the keys that landed right next to the cops head, but once you grab it you quickly snatch them. You concentrate on just the keys and the cuffs, quickly glancing at the cop. You finally unlock both of them.
Now, you prepare yourself of what's going to happen next.
You slowly start backing away from the cop. His eyes snap open, he wakes up.
He starts grabbing at you, but fortunately misses multiple times. You yelp as you fall over a branch and fall to the ground.
You back up, fear consuming you. You corner against the car, you can't move back anymore. You spot the shotgun to your left, you grab it and try to reload it. You quickly glance over at the cop as he gets closer and closer.
You fumble and drop the shotgun shell. You yelp as the cop was only about a meter away. You quickly pick up the shotgun shell, and this time, reloading it successfully.
You point the shotgun at the cops head and close your eyes.
"It's all fine... He's no longer human."
You open your eyes and pull the trigger.
He instantly stops groaning in pain and the air is filled with silence.
You sigh in relief and close your eyes tight once again. That gunshot was fairly loud, and most likely caught the attention of other walkers.
You open your eyes again, a figure emerges from a hill ahead of you. A figure of a little girl. A figure of Clementine. You face lights up.
"Hello! Please, I need help!" You yell out to her, she runs away.
You sigh and start hearing rustling in the bushes, you look to your right. Zombies, no, walkers. You didn't bother screaming, it would just attract more attention. You put a hand on your good leg for support and lift yourself up. A loud crack is heard from your leg. You stagger away towards where you last saw the figure of Clementine, walkers following only meters behind.
Few! Glad that's over with. Sorry its so short, I promise the next chapter will be longer... and have Cryaotic! And as I said before, my apologies for not adding him in this chapter D': Anyway, I hope you liked dis chapter! I will update another maybe tomorrow if this story goes well.
