"Welcome to the {Velvet Abyss}, Mister {Gamer}. How may I serve you?"

A woman sat on a chair in front of the table. Likely in her early twenties, she was a beauty to any man. She wore a simple maid outfit with buttons on the upper part with a long flowing skirt below. The only thing that stood out was that it was all colored a deep shade of blue and lines of black, making it look like an expensive piece of clothing. Her long cascading silver-gray hair fell down behind her, likely reaching to her waistline if she stood up. A cute face with an innocent look as she smiled brightly at Y/N. Her silver eyes glimmered with joy and-

"Wait, Silver Eyes?!"

When he took a closer look and sure enough, the woman had silver eyes. Looking at her hair again, he found out that there were blue tips at the end as well.

Wait, blue???

"... Who are you? Where am I? What is going on?"

The sudden rush of questions would make most attendants lose their composure to their recipients, however, the maid kept her cool and diligently answered his question.

"My name, given by my master, is Rose. I am your attendant for purchases about the {Velvet Abyss}. As to where we are; this place exists between dream and reality, mind and matter. Howsoever you or I wish it, this place will appear here."

"... Thank you for answering."

"You are most welcome."

The answers were straight to the point without having the need to ask more questions as Y/N looked at the woman before him.

Y/N carefully looked at Rose's figure as greatly reminded him of Summer Rose. The color of her eyes, the hair color at her tips, and that face. It really reminded him of Ruby, maybe even a perfect resemblance if the two side by side.

"Then, what is going on?"

Rose motioned the chair in front of her, as Y/N took a seat at the table.

"As of right now, my master has deemed to pull you out from reality and into here to discuss the business you will do with us. I am here as a medium for the purchases you make with the {Abyss Auction} and as a representative for my master."

"...Who is your master? Is it Igor?"

Rose merely shook her head as Y/N got confused. Who else was there?

"Unfortunately, Master Igor cannot be summoned here unless you partake the contract of the {Wildcard}. I cannot speak my master's name as you are ready to meet him."

"... I see."

Rose smiled at Y/N's complex emotions as she familiarizes the look. 'Do not worry, dear customer. When all is settled with in the world, Remnant, you may hold an audience with him."

"Not what I had in mind, but thanks for the info."

"It is my pleasure. Now, shall we get to the heart of things?"

"Before that, I want to ask."

"Hmm?"

Y/N leaned forward a bit and crossed his hands together, as the question would see if he had some control here.

"Can I escape from the place?"

"Of Course, dear customer." Rose stood up from her seat and waited for Y/N. "Follow me, please."

Y/N obliged as he followed Rose at the edge of the boat they are in.

When Y/N looked at the water below him, it was a terrifying sight to behold. Apart from the surface side, Y/N saw the infinite darkness of the sea below it and feeling as though it had no bottom made his stomach sink with fear.

Rose stepped to the side of the boat and extended her arm to the bottomless sea before him. "Jump into the sea, dear customer."

Y/N looked at Rose like she had three heads and pointed at the sea. "You want me, to jump in there?"

"Yes. You asked for the exit and this is it. By simply allowing the water to consume your body, you will be awoken in the real world with your memories intact of this place."

"...Oh. OK then."

Sure, it was no problem for Y/N. He already knew how to swim, float, and fall so this was easy for him. Just imagine it like a pool.

A very, very deep and large pool...

*Kick*

Y/N felt a boot kick him on his back and into the water. When he looked at who it was, he was horrified that Rose was the one responsible for it.

When he hit the water, Y/N felt his consciousness slowly fading away as the water nearly swallowed him. The only thing he heard, apart from the waves in his ear, was Rose's voice.

"If ever you want to visit, use the key!"

That was the last message he had heard before seeing darkness take hold of his sight.

*GASP*

Y/N shot up from the ground instantly as he gripped his heart. That near-death experience practically earned a scar in his heart and a cold sweat began dripping from his face.

When he looked around, he saw the bodies of RWBY and Aigis all coming to from their short nap and the location they were in.

"Oh, shit..." Was all he can say for the giant hole in the ground, with the front of the train sticking out and steam rising from the engine.

Then all of a sudden, a massive influx of Grimm poured out of the hole itself and wreaked havoc once it touched the ground in Vale.

Y/N looked with shock and fear as the numerous monsters were wreaking havoc around the are around him. Civilians were screaming in fear as they rush to safety, Nevermore's screeched to their heart's content as they shoot down multiple feathers on any humans.

This fear, this destruction, this level of planning... It's about time to fight back and make sure they don't get up.

He could care less if they beg for mercy. If he can take something from his favorite game into this emotion he is feeling.

"Don't fuck with the scorpion, unless you are prepared to get stung."

Soon, Y/N saw that RWBY and Aigis were all awake from their state of unconsciousness as they saw what he is also seeing.

Looking at each other, they retreated to the center of Vale as the Grimm vacated all the nearby civilians.

A few seconds later, the civilians nearby had all but vanished with no deaths yet. But all the Grimm circled around the team with their fangs bared against them.

RWBY, Aigis, and Y/N all withdraw their weapons and shifted them into combat modes with some cocking in new ammo.

They all had nervous expressions as the sheer number of Grimm was larger than expected from Glenn so they gripped their weapons tight.

And they waited with a tense atmosphere.

*AWOOOOOOOOO*

"Aigis!"

"Right. {Palladion}." The {Persona} manifested into thin air as Aigis gave her command. "{Thermoplyae}"

Instantly, three pillars of light emerged around the team as multicolored triangles consumed them with a bright flash of light.

RWBY didn't know what Aigis did but when they were prism of light, they felt their body changing. They felt their strength become more powerful, their speed and accuracy faster and their Aura doubled in defense.

Suddenly, the girls felt like they can take on the world and still have enough energy for later.

Y/N was next. "{Checkmate}"

Just as RWBY got their buff, the Grimm also got one. Instead of like giving them strength, Y/N took it.

A giant sphere with three balls circling around it appeared on each Grimm around them. The three balls all got consumed by the giant sphere as the de-buff took place within the Grimm.

Their strength, speed, and defense all fell considerably as though feeling weak and useless against the team.

With the buffs and de-buffs in place, it was time to attack.

"CHARGE!!!"

As if waiting for the signal, every member all jumped at the Grimm with newfound power within themselves to eliminate all traces of their presence.

Y/N charged in with Odin as stabbed an entire Beowulf and landed in front of its pack. With the Grimm intact in his spear, he used its mass and spun around the weapon as it hits all the Grimm.

With a stop, the carcass flew away from the spear and collided at an Ursa, who merely swapped the corpse away from itself.

Using his speed, Y/N zipped around the battled field, decimating any Grimm in his path. He used one as a jumping board as he was at the sky with a couple of Nevermore's there. He then swung Odin in a wide area and activated his Semblance. "{Triple Down}"

As if invisible, three bullets punctured each and every Nevermore, effectively killing them.

About to fall down, Y/N shifted Odin into Crete and plummeted into the earth with his weapon above him. "{Vajra Blast!}"

Just as he hits the ground, a massive explosion killed any Grimm near him as Y/N got up unharmed.

He looked at his next opponent, which was an Ursa Major with charred skin. "You must be the general of this pack if you managed to survive that."

It roared loudly as its response and prepared to swipe the puny human before it. Just it was about to connect, Y/N leaned his body to the side at the right moment and entered {Z-Targeting}. He turned his body at the right position and cleaved the Grimms arm right of its body.

The Grimm staggered to its back as its sudden loss of appendage made it cautious of the human. Before it could react, Y/N cut its head in half and looked its body disappearing into ash.

He took a moment to look at how his friends were doing and safe to say, they were doing alright.

Ruby sped instantly into rose petals and slashed multiple Grimm all at once while decimating the ones in front of her.

Weiss made multiple Glyphs and out came icicles by the dozen and shot into many Grimm, all meeting their icy ends.

Blake ran around the battlefield, cutting up the Grimm by the dozen using well-placed shots and slashes by her weapon.

Yang just... punches them into oblivion as she moved from one Grimm to another, ending them with one punch or kicks.

Aigis lay down some covering fire for everyone, killing any Grimm trying to sneak up to them. She constantly moved from places to places while using her Semblance for crowd control.

Y/N felt something approaching him from behind and saw the head of the King Taijutsu. Before it could take a bit out of him, it sensed someone more... dangerous.

"NORA, SMASH!!!"

Nora smashed her hammer right on the Taijutsu's head and bounced of, killing it instantly. On the ground near it was Team JNPR.

"Guys!" Y/N rushed over there as he finished killing the nearby Grimm there. "Great to have you here!"

"Don't count us out yet. We got this." Jaune confidently said to him, feeling stronger than before.

"Awesome. Before you get started though, you should have this." Y/N outstretched his hand to them as Nora got back from her trip.

"What are you..."

"{Masukukaja} {Matarukaja} {Marakukaja}"

Like Team RWBY, JNPR received the same buffs thus increasing their potential to fight.

"Woah..." Jaune looked at his body in amazement, feeling stronger.

"What is this? I feel as though a weight was lifted from my shoulders." Pyrrha moved her body as she felt it more limber than before.

"Is this what your Semblance can do, Y/N?" Ren outstretched his hand to get a feel for this powerup.

Nora just laughed silently to herself, as the power flowing through her makes it hard to control her excitement.

"Now then, let's go fuck up some Grimm!"

"YEAH!"

Soon enough, they all went their separate ways and dealt with each Grimm in their path.

Y/N resumed his task before and made sure that no Grimm will escape further.

A few feet away from the team, Sun Wukong and Neptune Vasilias emerged as well.

"Nobody move! Junior detectives!" Sun loudly announced with his arms crossed, trying to look intimidating.

"We have badges so you know its official!" Neptune backed him up and showed them it.

"..." Y/N blankly stared at the duo. "... Read the mood, guys."

That was when he heard noises from above. Y/N looked up and saw backup, a fleet of Atlesian ships came to the battlefield as dropships started flying lower to their location.

It dropped androids, mechanical soldiers, as it fired multiple rounds on the Grimm. Many more follow suit to contain the masses as the Grimm targeted them next. While some were able to destroy a few androids, it proved useless when many of them fired round after round at them.

Y/N was in awe of how huge the flagship General Ironwood commanded that he didn't react enough when a Grimm snuck up behind him. Before he could retaliate, a hail of bullets dispatched it faster than he could, result from one of the many ships flying around the area.

As the Grimm was being dispatched constantly with the androids taking most of the aggression, the of which the Grimm came out of suddenly spout out a hand.

A mechanical hand as a Paladin hoisted itself up above, damaged beyond repair. However, it wasn't a White Fang grunt that piloted it but instead was Doc. Oobleck with Zwei at its foot.

"Zwei!" Aigis saw the helpless corgi and ran over there, killing more Grimm. "Are you alright?"

"*BARK!**BARK!*"

She lightly giggled at his attempt for acting cool and patted his head. "Well, until then. Stay behind me. I will protect you."

Zwei saw no reason to deny her hospitality and stayed near her.

One of the airships flew low enough that made everyone see who was in the said ship. It was Team CFVY and Prof. Port, all had weapons and came to help the others.

They were all dropped off to the ground as each member handled the Grimm in their own way.

Yatsuhashi gripped the sword from his back and fully unsheathed it. Many Grimm saw him as a potential threat to them and all ran towards him.

Y/N landed behind him as an entire pack of Grimm surrounded them. The two shared a nod of understanding between them as they combined attacks.

Before the Grimm could even strike, Y/N and Yatsuhashi slammed their weapons to the ground. With Y/N activating another skill "{Hassou Tobi!}"

Combining the shockwave of Yatsuhashi, multiple red ethereal slashes cut down the Grimm with relative ease and ended with a small explosion.

They both turned to face each other as Yatsuhashi held his arm to him. "Yatsuhashi..."

Y/N complied and clasped arms together with the green giant. "Y/N..."

Meanwhile, Fox and Velvet repeatedly kicked and punched an Ursa Major before Fox did a combo that made it fly to the air briefly then slamming the Grimm to a pack of Beowulves. The multiple attacks from both teens made the Ursa explode into chucks and its spikes behind it pierced each and every one of them.

Y/N came in front of Fox and held up his shield with {Aura Fortify} to deflect any spikes that reached them.

"Y/N!" Velvet happily cried as he came to protect them.

"Hey, Velvet." He replied back, shooting her a smile.

"Nice hustle, Fox. You too, Y/N." Coco gave each of the boys and pat... on their butt. Y/N slightly blushed from action before getting rid of the feeling.

She then walked up to one Alpha Beowulf and slowly puts down her shades at it. "You just destroyed my favorite clothing store. Prepare to die."

Coco then proceeded to fuck that Grimm's shit by kicking it on its crotch. With it leaning down, she merely looked at it with disgust before pummeling it down with her handbag.

She then knocked away three Beowulves with a simple motion and jumped back a bit when a Deathstalker tried to pierce it with its stinger.

Velvet was about to use her weapon upon it, but Coco stopped her. "Hey, come on. You just spent all semester building that up. Don't waste it here."

"Hey, Y/N," Coco called him over and she smirked evilly. "Watch this."

'Oh fuck...' He inwardly was now afraid of women that were like Coco, because once you screw with the bull...

Coco then mechashifted her handbag into a massive mini-gun and lay waste on the Grimm before her. Never stopping, never-ending.

...You get the mini-gun feeding you bullets after bullets.

"Holy shit... That... was chaos." Y/N commented on the entire fight as it was finished just like that. 'I'm betting every Karen will want that hand-bag. Probably cost more than their child's life insurance.'

Just as the fight was ending, Glynda was angrily stomping towards the crash site. Any Grimm unfortunate enough to try and kill her was met with the same fate before them. Crushed unto the walls mercilessly without giving much thought.

She then used her Semblance to its fullest as the hole Grimm swarmed to along with the train was all fixed. As if there wasn't an accident at all.

And with that the case, the breach was finished.

Afterword, everyone meets at the center of Vale to watch Roman Torchwick, without his hat and cane, enter the dropship with Emerald and Mercury holding him down.

Seeing the elusive criminal now finally brought to justice, RWBY can rest easy knowing that Roman Torchwick is behind bars. JNPR exchanged smiles between one another, Sun and Neptune bumped fist, CFVY likewise and Port and Oobleck shook the hands of each other while Glynda watches from behind.

Y/N and Aigis stood next to each other as the airship carrying Roman flew to the flagship. "We did it."

"Indeed. Roman Torchwick will hold a trial for the numerous crimes he has committed against Vale and its citizens. By counting how many crimes he has done in recent months, his estimated time in prison will be 923 days in service."

"That's a long time. Hope he brought something to kill time there."

"...Perhaps."

With the deed done, the group is about to head to Beacon for today. They rightfully earn a good night's sleep.

Yes...

Y/N looked at his stomach with his eyes bulging out of its socket. Aigis saw and was equally horrified.

He then spat out some blood from his mouth as he clicked his tongue and jumped away from his attacker.

"Hey, Y/N? What are you..." Ruby trailed off as she saw the wound on his stomach. "Y/N!"

He held his stomach and felt {Gamer's Body} repairing the wound already. Y/N stood up fully and faced his attacker. "...Loki."

He merely smiled as the blade he held still dripped with his blood. "Hello, Joker. How are you feeling?"
