Sansa Stark- Alone (c)
Sometimes you couldn't explain why you felt a certain way and you certainly couldn't explain how to change it. Maybe it was being so far away from home and the loneliness that came with it that caused your tears, maybe it was the hopelessness you felt for your life and future or maybe it was the escape that you longed for yet knew you had little chance to ever experience. There were more elements connecting to your low mood than anything you ever thought but one clear point that meant tears ran down your cheeks was a long-lost thought.
Leaving your chambers was becoming fewer and far between. Without a clear reason, you just didn't see the point and seen as you had no one to see or speak to and nothing that needed to be done, you spent most of your time in bed or sat by your window watching the world go by perfectly fine without your interference. Everyday went by the same as the last and it was becoming to feel as though you had no influence on the world and without you there wouldn't be any change and that certainly didn't make you feel any better about yourself.
You expected your day to be as uneventful and unfulfilling, but your nothingness was broken when someone knocked on your door. You called to allow them to enter, expecting a servant whom wanted to offer you food or something equally mundane but if you felt better, you may have said you were joyously surprised.
As the door opened, the face of your friend since childhood was revealed. Sansa Stark had been your friend in Winterfell until you were sent to live in King's Landing, leaving there to only be a few letters exchanged between you. You had no idea why she was there but all you cared about was that she was there. For the first time in the longest, a smile appeared upon your face.
"Sansa," you exclaimed rushing to her, wrapping your arms around her in an almost bone crushing hug.
"I've missed you," she smiled softly.
"I have missed you too. I am so glad to see you," you whispered, the pain you had felt for the months you had spent there welling up inside of you, finally offering you happiness to compare it to.
"My father is the hand to the King, I will be here for a while," she commented. "You won't be alone any longer."
