Podrick Payne- Pregnant: Part 4 (c)
Your brother's expression stayed blank before his eyebrow cocked and a smirk curled upon his lips.
"I am guessing it is not the child of the man whom you were betrothed," he stated.
"I never even met him Tyrion, let alone produced a child," you frowned.
"Then do tell sister," he smirked. "Don't tell me you are following in Cersei's footsteps."
You shot him a glare. You could never imagine how the hell Tyrion could ever imagine you'd be like your twin siblings and commit incest. Even though the idea made your skin crawl, you knew that you were more likely to be accepted if you claimed your child was that of Jaime's, your father was smitten with your nephews and niece regardless of them being a product of incest.
"Don't be so vile Tyrion," you stated. "I would much rather not express whom the father is, in fear of your reaction and that of the rest of the family. I am only telling you that I am pregnant because I do not know how to keep my child safe along with the father, as you know that Cersei and father would wish all three of us dead if they knew."
Tyrion let out a sigh, pouring himself more wine and practically inhaling it, although it wasn't a concern as his alcoholism had been part of him for years.
"Would the father of your child be someone in this room?" He questioned.
You could feel your cheeks becoming redder, hoping that you could hide the expressions on your face but struggling. Peering over towards Podrick, you could see his concerned expression too. He was the love of your life and you would do anything to keep him safe, but you trusted Tyrion, you just hoped your trust wasn't misplaced.
"H-how did you know?" You croaked.
The two of you had done your best to keep things hidden, you clearly hadn't done a good enough job.
"I know my younger sister," he stated. "The two of you were good at hiding but you can't hide the love in your eyes every time you see him."
You couldn't help but look over at him again, savouring every second of eye contact you received. You felt as though you had betrayed him with your heart, in allowing Tyrion to know that Pod was the man whom you loved.
"Pod," Tyrion said turning his attention to his squire.
"M-milord," he croaked.
"You have no reason to be fearful Podrick," he frowned. "I simply have a question for you."
Podrick took a deep breath. "Yes, milord."
"Do you love my sister?"
You felt your heart jump into your throat as you looked over to the squire. Up until now you believed that he had loved you as you did, he, but now you couldn't help but doubt such a thing. As you tried to subtly look at the father of your unborn child, you noticed his gentle smile as he returned the look.
"With all of my heart," he said fondly.
"And sister do you love my squire?" Tyrion asked.
"More than anything."
Tyrion let out a sigh, running a hand through his hair.
"Then I shall help you."
