Jaime Lannister- Patient (c)
You were quickly losing your patience. As a nurse, you had experienced stubborn and annoying patients before, but Jaime Lannister was by far the worst person you had come across. All you wanted was him to sit down so you could treat him but even that seemed to be more than you could ask for. If you weren't so grateful for his help today, you wouldn't have put up with his stubborn arse this long.
"Just sit down," you demanded, cornering him by the bed, giving him little option but to sit down on it.
"I'm fine," he grunted, ignoring the fact that he was bleeding and it hurt him to even argue such a point.
"Say that without gritting your teeth," you said with narrowed eyes.
Jaime let out a sigh before plopping himself onto the bed, still reluctant for your help but not having an argument currently.
"Are you going to actually let me treat you now?" You asked, opening your medical bag that contained everything you needed for treating a patient.
"I don't need treating," he huffed.
"You were hit in the face a few times, I can't imagine what that could've done inside your head, so just let me treat the external injuries," you said.
"Fine."
You rolled your eyes at him. You'd have thought that someone whom had fought in battles would know the importance of getting the correct medical care, and granted it wasn't more than a fist fight, but you still didn't want to leave him to be in pain. Gently you dabbed at his blood nose until he winced at the pressure.
"I'm sorry," you whispered. "It'll sting a little, but it will hurt a lot more if I don't clean it up."
"Just do it," he grunted.
You did as you were told and did your best to clean up his wounds.
"Thank you for earlier," you said softly, not sure how to word your gratitude.
"It was no problem," he stated. "He deserved worse."
His injuries had come from fighting a man whom deemed it alright to touch you inappropriately without your consent. Luckily Ser Jaime had been passing and decided to take it into his own hands and stop him. There was a fight that ensued but luckily your saviour won the fight.
"No, seriously," you whispered. "I couldn't be more grateful. I fear what would have happened if you weren't there to save me."
He took your hand, stopping you from treating his injuries but forcing you to pay attention to his words instead.
"I will always be there to protect you."
